The hospitality of the hotel was so nice. The staffs were well trained for the guests' requests, such as arrangement of tour, transportation, etc.

The hot stuffs was not ready at the opening of the breakfast.

From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this place values genuine human connection above all. The hosts build a warm personal relationship rather than a formal customer relationship, something rare in today’s fast-paced world. The service was, without exaggeration, the best I ever received and I travel a lot. Everything was spotlessly clean, which I deeply appreciate. After I left, I did not even realised I had forgotten some personal items. They reached out right away and kindly offered to send them by post. That level of integrity and care speaks volumes about their professionalism and values. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly. It’s not just a stay, it’s a truly welcoming experience in Istanbul.

The staff was AMAZING! We arrived at 7 in the morning after an 11 hour flight from Vietnam, not expecting to check in, just wanted to leave our luggage. We were given coffee, provided an upgraded room, and were in our room within 30 minutes. The front desk manager helped us book trips, provided recommendations of what was available within walking distance, and gave us great directions. The bell boys, breakfast staff, and housekeeper all wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. If you travel to Istanbul, this is a great place to stay and within walking distance to all the main attractions.

A very warm welcome from staff and the owner Mr Harun Cadirci with welcome drinks and useful information. The location of the hotel is unbeatable, minutes from lots of places to eat, shopping, and walking distance to all the major sites, yet on a quiet road with minimal/barely any street noise. The rooms were nicely decorated (ornate yet light and airy), well appointed, and spacious. We were kindly given an option of a free upgrade to better accommodate a cot. The bathroom was very clean and modern, and had a really good shower. One of the highlights of this delightful hotel was the relaxing breakfast with the amazing rooftop views of Istanbul. Starting mornings with a variety of food and drink which changed daily with staff on hand to help if needed. The rooftop was also available to sit and relax on throughout the day with complimentary tea/coffee making facilities. Complimentary delicious apple tea was offered whenever we wanted which was a really nice touch. The staff were extremely polite, friendly and went out of their way to not only be helpful but ensure we had a lovely time during our stay. The personal touch made everything seem like a home away from home, with gifts on arrival and on leaving. We were warmly greeted throughout the day and asked how everything was going or even if we needed anything else. Thank you to Mr Harun Cadirci and the amazing staff for making our stay very enjoyable and memorable. Would not hesitate to stay here again and would definitely recommend this hotel in Istanbul.

What can I say?!?... In a word - incredible! From the moment we arrived, Tugay at reception helped us with everything and gave us fresh juice and Turkish Delight, all presented beautifully on a tray. Our room was everything that you can see in the photos on Booking.com - and more! With petals displayed on the bed and towels to the stunning decor around the room. We were told: 'This is your home from home'... and it couldn't have been more accurate. Later we met Berat, who was incredibly helpful, friendly and respectful. We needed to find an ATM to get some Turkish Lira. He didn't give us directions, but actually accompanied us to a bank, which he said was the safest and best place to go. He was there to greet us at breakfast each morning and nothing at all was a bother to him. We cannot thank him enough! On the subject of breakfast, there was a wonderful choice each morning with a wide variety of food to suit every taste. It was made all the more special that it was on the roof with spectacular views over the city and of the Bosphorous. The third receptionist, who seemed to work evenings was Kemal. He is so nice, and like the others, has a great command of English. Again, like Berat, he was interested in what we were going to do or had done when we arrived back. Nothing is a problem to any of the staff in this hotel and nothing is done for show - it is all 100% genuine to make the guests feel at home. We would not stay anywhere else in Istanbul and look forward to returning soon. Thank you, Berat, Kemal and Tugay for making our first ever stay in this lovely city so amazing and so special!

Excellent hotel in heart of Istanbul, easy walking distance to just about everything. Breakfast was very good with what I would say was a cross between authentic Turkish options and European/American options. This made the meal more adventurous and appealing. Rooms were on the small side consistent with what we have found in other European countries but were well appointed, very clean and decorated such that it made it feel like a dream state. Excellent staff who treated us like royalty! Plenty of restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner. Highly recommend for comfort, value, location and treatment by hotel staff.

One of the most sincere and hospitable welcomes I have experienced when we arrived at the hotel. We were given an informative explanation of the hotel and surrounding area. Very clean. When we left my wife and I needed to walk to the other end of the street with our hands full of luggage to get a private taxi. Hotel staff insisted on helping us carry luggage to the taxi - I am very grateful.

The cold mezze and salad at breakfast was nice and healthy but selection/quality of bread and hot breakfast could be better. However, service was always friendly and having breakfast out on the roof terrace with view of the Blue Mosque was unforgettable. We felt the mattresses were too firm for our liking (side sleepers) but tolerable.

I truly love this incredible hotel. I must say, after reading reviews for a place to stay in İstanbul, I am so glad I chose the White House Hotel! I can't rave enough about it. From the minute we set foot in the lobby, we were greeted with special care and hospitality by Mr. Harun and his team. The rooms are immaculately clean and decorated. A delicious array of breakfast items are offered on the terrace, which has a beautiful view of the city. The hotel is right in heart of all attractions. Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque is literally in walking distance. There are great restaurants and shopping areas right outside. I would love to come back again!

I had a wonderful experience during my recent stay at The White House. The location truly made our trip incredibly convenient, as we found ourselves within easy walking distance of nearly all the attractions we wished to visit. Additionally, the proximity of the tram station, just a three-minute walk away, was a significant advantage and made exploring the city effortless. However, the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the exceptional service provided by the staff. Their attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond our expectations truly set your hotel apart. In particular, I would like to commend Tugay for his outstanding professionalism and helpfulness. He consistently demonstrated what exemplary hotel service should be, and his efforts significantly enhanced our visit.

There is much to love about this hotel but the shining light at the White House Hotel are the staff. I have never stayed at any hotel with staff like the White House Hotel - nothing was too much trouble, they were so friendly and attentive to our needs. The service is 10/10 but non of it feels fake, they really want to help you to have the best stay. On our arrival our bed was dressed with a 'Love' balloon and petals in a heart. We had no occasion and were travelling with a child, it was just a value add that makes this hotel stand out. The location of the hotel is fantastic, in the old city and only a couple minutes to the Blue Mosque, Cistern Basilica and Hagia Sophia as well as loads of restaurants. Trams are also just down the road if you're into using public transport. The hotel has a lovely rooftop breakfast room and outdoor table and chair settings with views of the Hagia Sophia. There was lots of selection at breakfast. We always slept late and two things stood out - firstly we missed breakfast one day (closes at 10am) but when I called up to ask what time breakfast finished they said they would keep breakfast open for us. On another day we arrived towards the end of the session and Michael (I really hope i have his name right - terrible memory for names) said that as it was nearly at the end of breakfast if anything was missing or not enough we should let him know so he could get some for us. There was enough food remaining to feed a football team but he was so worried something would be missing. He also learnt I liked soy cappucccino and presented it without being asked. The room was very comfortable, one queen sized bed and a single bed. The decor is tasteful, there was a huge cupboard to unpack clothes, storage in the bedside cabinets, a safe. The bathroom was nice, funky shower and all you needed like shower gel, shampoo etc. There was a good sized lift so no need to use stairs if not wanting to.
