Pros: - Excellent location - walking distance to all main sites (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Galata Bridge, Grand Bazar, Spices Bazar, Bosphorus cruise, etc.). In my 2.5 days in Istanbul, I was able to walk around Sultanahmet and not use any public transit or taxis. - Excellent overall value for money. - Good breakfast with sufficient sweet and savory options and a breathtaking panoramic view on Hagia Sophia and Bosphorus. - Very welcoming, professional and friendly staff - from the reception to the restaurant to the lobby staff, everyone was very nice and appreciative of each guest.

Cons: - Shower gel was not provided (only little shampoo bottles), so perhaps the quality of the toiletries offered could be improved. - Some noise can be heard from the corridors and neighboring rooms, so you might need earplugs (depending on your noise sensitivity).

Arden City Hotel is more like a boutique hotel. The location is perfect, just a couple of minutes from Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque… and Turkish bath historic place. You can walk another 10-15 minutes to the Grand Bazaar, Egyptian Bazaar and ferries port. The staff is very friendly, supportive and always attentive. The breakfast is in the terrace, with an excellent view the of the mosques, Bosphorus and the city in general… you can eat here everyday, breakfast are super!

Usually I prefer more space to organize, then is possible to offer better wardrobes … and bigger TV, but this is very subjective.

The location of the property is excellent. Close to everything. They upgraded our room for no extra charge. We had a balcony and we could see part of the city from above. The breakfast was great. Staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast is served on top of the building which gives an excellent view over the Bosphore and Aya Sophia Mosque.

I don’t really remember anything that I didn’t like. Maybe the only thing is we didn’t know that we can order loaded omelets during our free Breakfast. I wish someone explained that to us. Also, the orange juice during breakfast was not good.

The location was amazing, just 200 meters away from a true wonder of the world is something else... the views of Haya Sofia are unbelievable. Very nice restaurants, hamams(baths) and other amenities nearby is a nice extra to have. The staff is incredible, every single person from the bellboy, to receptionist, restaurant staff on the rooftop, and even the Hotel manager, everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful... at every second they helped us with everything, can't speak highly enough of everyone!

Breakfast didn't have too much variety, it's definitely the only improvement point I can mention.

Nice and elegant hotel, the whole staff was welcoming from day one, Emre at the reception is a star! They gave us all the information and a map to move around the city with no problem. The position is just perfect in the middle among all the most important places to visit. The breakfast in the terrace is very well organised and rich, the view from there is just a magic plus. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is situated in the Sultanahmet area, within walking distance of all major attractions. The view from the restaurant terrace was stunning. Our rooms were nicely sized and comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean. The owner takes good care of the property. If we ever return to Istanbul, this hotel will be our top choice. All personnel were friendly and helpful.

I had a lovely day here very well located on the staff were really helpful and friendly, especially Omer. Because it’s so central of course is a little bit of noise but otherwise it was great and I really enjoyed the breakfast and would recommend.

1. The proximity of the hotel to the places of interest. 2. The Staff were very friendly and approachable. 3. The manager, Aslan, made sure that our airport transfer & accommodation were arranged as per request. He also shared with us the place to dine and how travel within Istanbul. 4. The sunrise view from the roof terrace during breakfast was magnificent.
