Location is excellent, walking distance to everything, superb staff beginning with Isa at the front desk who appears to manage everything. He was professional, exceptionally helpful, friendly. Omer, Gokhan and Yasin were also superb at what they do. Agora hires good people. We enjoyed interacting with them all. Breakfast was good, coffee very good, and run well by two women who I think also handle housekeeping. The bed was comfortable. Hotel is clean, quiet, comfortable. The rooftop terrace is wonderful - the views are outstanding and we relaxed up there each night. In June about 8:45 Call to Prayer from every direction echoed for a little while and was beautiful. The staff at this hotel do everything they can to make your stay great. We recommend Agora Life Hotel - Special Class.

The location was fantastic, close to Hagia Sophia and the blue mosque as well as trams. The beds were very comfortable but the pillows could have been a bit firmer. The staff were all wonderful and although the breakfast wasn’t what we were used to, they were more than willing to make fresh omelettes for us daily.

The noise level within the hotel. As the staircase is all open and central, you can hear everyone climbing up and down. The doors were also heavy and were quite loud when they closed, especially when you are sharing the hotel with inconsiderate travellers who don’t seem to care about being quiet for other people. NOT the hotel or staff’s fault though!!

Great location, closed to everything. Awesome view on the rooftop. And the rooftop was open 24 hours. The room was clean. The breakfast was good.

A small hotel with 20 rooms totally. The room was small but it was ok for the price.

I was pre-amped by the staff, Mr Isa two days before my stay. He queried on our stay details whether any additional services needed during they stay. Their hospitality was amazing. Eventhough we already checked out on the last day, they helped us by keeping our bags so we can explore the city and provided us drinks upon our return. I booked one queen bedroom, and triple bedroom and they upgraded us with a family room connecting both room. The location also is well situated in Istanbul, approx 10mins walk to Hagia Sophia Mosque and Grand Bazaar. Overall, it was a nice and amazing hotel with great hospitality by the staff. Definitely will stay again on our next visit.

We went to Istanbul with a friend for 4 nights and we stayed in Agora life hotel. Our stay was very pleasant! Hotel isn't too big so the hotel personnel had always time for us and gave good tips about things to do, places to see, restaurants etc. Hotelrooms were nice and the view from the top of the building was amazing. Hotel is located really near to many main attraction, and if you only have a few days in a city as big as Istanbul that is very time-saving. The street where Agora life hotel is located is quiet, so you'll have a good night sleep and still many great restaurants only couple of minutes away. Great hotel is always one of the key factors for a successful vacation and we are really happy that we chose this hotel. I highly recommend it!

This hotel is ideally situated to visit the main sites of Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern etc easily with a few minutes walk and also within a few minutes walk of restaurants and the trams. The hotel has a lovely roof terrace which we used for breakfast, with a view of Hagia Sophia and the Bosphorus, and over to the Galata Tower. The staff at the hotel were wonderful, always helpful and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. They even upgraded my room to one with a view of Hagia Sophia with a nice bottle of wine and snacks, as I was in Istanbul for my 60th Birthday. Omar was amazing .. worth an extra mention for sure. All in all a great little find!

Excellent and incredibly helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Very helpful in locating the different places to visit and getting the ferry etc. our pre booked return taxi to the airport was very late and the staff were brilliant at trying to locate the driver and called him numerous times etc. The staff are the shining part of this hotel. The hotel was clean - towels changed daily and room cleaned daily and adequate breakfast - my husband enjoyed the freshly made omelettes to order.

The hotel is located exactly where you want to be in the city. It's central to everything and a few steps to all you need to visit. Perfect for first timers. The room is well heated, clean, and very comfortable. The rooftop has an amazing view beyond what you can imagine. All their staff are helpful and welcoming. So many good words for this place - definitely above expectations and highly recommended to anyone visiting the city.

First of all the staff are all so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel is clean and the cleaners do an amazing job. I didn’t eat in the restaurant but the food always smelt incredible coming up from the restaurant. Location is perfect. Within a 5 minute walk of a major sightseeing hub but just off a main road so you don’t get the traffic and street noise. Great bathroom and very comfy bed.

Decor is a bit tired and could do with updating. Lack of attention to detail with fixtures. There isn’t a socket/switch that is straight and lots of fixtures are loose. Definitely needs a refurb.

We had the Hagia Sophia suite which was nice and spacious and as the name suggests, the view from the room of Hagia Sophia Mosque was amazing The hotel was nice and clean and also central to the mosques, museum and eating places There was no bar within the hotel and since it only had about 11 rooms it was nice and quiet, the staff were friendly and pleasant

The breakfast was pretty standard and more or less the same everyday We didn’t see it mentioned anywhere that they made fresh omelette and only found out a few days later when we saw one of the other guests order it
