Location of the hotel is perfect for a first-time visitor wanting to easily see all the historic sites. Everything is close...10 minutes or so. The restaurant was exceptional -- best food I had in Istanbul and the 360-view of the city from the restaurant and rooftop was spectacular. Seating is comfortable and venue is very pretty. Breakfast was plentiful -- something for everyone. Waiters and restaurant staff were welcoming and very accommodating. Everyone at the front desk were very helpful -- answering questions, making recommendations, and helping me (traveled solo) easily navigate my way around. I would definitely return, but would opt for a larger room next time.

Room, which I chose, was very small. OK for one, but would not have been comfortable for two in my opinion. I like a bit more space so would upgrade next time. It was hard to keep temperature right in the small space but AC worked well and I used it.

This is an excellent hotel! The location is supurb, 5mins walk from Aya Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the Basilica cysterns, 1omins from Grand Bazaar and Topkapi Palace. Many restuarants nearby and plenty of shops. We felt very safe in this area. The staff are super helpful and friendly, 24hr reception. Breakfast is brilliant and the views from the restuarant are amazing. Comfy beds, clean rooms and nice hot shower. We left our luggage on the departure day and when we popped in to warm up a bit (it was sooooo cold) in the middle of tha day they got us free tea and coffee. Could not fault this place! I would highly recommend this hotel for a short-break in Istanbul.

Noting at all, excellent!

Room was nice and warm with heated floors and towel rack. Views from the rooftop were great, especially at sunset. Breakfast included tasty menemen and simit. Liked the option to pay cash whereas most other hotels required prepayment by credit card. Plenty of taxis right outside the hotel, very convenient for returning to the airport.

Rooms were smaller and less opulent than they appeared in photos. Did not appreciate being accompanied to room (had no luggage, needed no help) and having obvious facts like location of the closet and the minibar pointed out in a clear attempt for a tip when no valuable service was rendered.

Wonderful location, less than a 10 minute walk from Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace, Museum of Archeology and T1 Tram stop (Sultanahmet). Beautiful 6th floor + rooftop restaurant with awesome views of the Bosphorus Strait, Sea of Marmara, Istanbul's Asian side and the mosques mentioned above. We took great sunrise and sunset pictures from the roof. Lots of bars/restaurants/shopping right outside the hotel's entrance. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was also wonderful - roughly the same day-to-day, but plenty of variety each day.

Room a bit on the small side for three people. Similarly, elevator a bit small/slow. But you're right in the middle of Old Town, so space is at a premium in general, I'm sure.

We really liked the decor and the location. We have stayed on this exact road before so we were very familiar with where we were. The rooms are very compact and clean; exactly what you'd expect in Sultanahmet for the price. For a family, it would benefit from having something stuck above the sink to put our toothbrushes in, a simple touch would be helpful.

Although the breakfast was very nice and fresh, I think it could have done with more fruit and maybe some more Turkish produce. For example, maybe provide a different dish every day like borek. Also, the breakfast room was very hot and we had to keep asking to open the windows. We didn't seem to have this issue with the last hotel we stayed at so trying to enjoy the view, with the blinds down and feeling hot wasn't very nice.

Lovely small hotel in the tourist heart of Istanbul. Our request for room with a view was met & the view towards the Bosphorus was perfect (Room 502). Rooftop & restaurant views are exceptional, although drinks/food menu on the expensive side. Breakfast was fairly basic and unchanging over 5 days but fresh and a great start to the day. Air Con was fabulous in the July heat. Bed very comfy. Complimentary daily water. All staff friendly with enough English for a confident stay!

This highly touristy area does not seem to ever slow down so it can be a little noisy at night. Bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. Would have spent more time on rooftop if they had put up the closed umbrellas! Minibar was not regularly replenished and there was no milk of any type for tea or coffee. No tissues in room.

Our stay at the hotel overall was a good experience. The stuff was very kind (receptionist, the guy that helped with luggage, the cleaning lady, and the stuff at the breakfast). The room was specious for 2 people and clean. It was very close to all the sights we wanted to visit, and you could reach them on foot. The breakfast was good too.

What I didn't like was that the room was way too hot, even though all the heat was switched off from the first night, even with an open window the room didn t get any better (late November). We used for couple of nights the A/C at cold, in order to make it better. Furthermore, the hotel is located at a central and very busy road, so the noise in the night can not be ignored. Also, the towels were clean but had holes, which is something that can be fixed. Lastly, I believe that the pillows also need a replacement as they were hard, though it was not such an issue.

The breakfast spread was ample and delicious, and the view from the restaurant is fabulous. The staff were all so helpful. The location was perfect especially for a first time visit to Istanbul. The room was very comfortable.

Very minor things: the bathroom towel hook was loose and just needs to be tightened. The bathroom vanity sink drain was a little slow. Easy fixes. Everything else was great.

Location was excellent and was surrounded by some good restaurants. Room was not the biggest, but was very comfortable. We found some staff very pleasant, others we didn't even get a hello. Rooftop bar was brilliant with excellent views of the city.

Breakfast was not the best and seemed to be a strange choice at times. Number of occasions had to ask for the water and juice to be filled up. Coffee that came out of the machine was awful. Cleaning in the bathroom was hit and miss. Bar closed at 11.15 despite being told it was open till midnight.

Lovely hotel. Clean, good service and nice enough breakfast spread. Fantastic location and breakfast on the highest floor + there's a rooftop for dining also. The views are amazing. All of Istanbul can be seen from the rooftop. Ths sites like Hagia Sophia, etc are so close. All walking distance. There are many shops outside, different streets leading to interesting finds. P.s. bathroom is a little tight but very manageable. All modern fix.
