The service was terrific. Helpful, professional, friendly, honest. My arrived at hotel at 7am; made arrangements for early check in at 9am and no wait till 2pm. They offered us complementary breakfast when we were waiting for the room. My family was delighted. Remarkable Ur in reception. He gave us honest advice on tipping in Turkey, local places, what to visit and what to watch out for. He was super helpful. And all staff was so kind. Location was also exceptional and very convenient.

I liked everything

Courteous and helpful staff, clean rooms, good breakfast, and probably the best location for travelers: walking distance to the majority of the landmarks, and a 2-minute walk to the tram station that takes you to other parts of Istanbul, the harbor, etc. grocery store, hair salon, shops, pharmacy, ATM, everything within 5 minute walking distance.

The rooms are pretty small and crammed, barely any space to put 2 bags if you have a large one. The doors of the room open and close with a loud bang so it can be rather hard to fall asleep if the guests on your floor come in at late hours. The mini-fridge doesn’t cool well.

Everything was great: the room, the service, the staff, but nothing compares to the location of the hotel. It is located on a street that is not so busy but its really close to the all well-known sightseeing places in Istanbul. The description that : "it is within walking distance from historical sites" doesn't describe properly the location. It takes 5 minutes by foot to get from the hotel to the Hagia Sophia, and 10 minutes (also by foot) to reach the Obelisk, or the Blue Mosque. If you want to go farther, there is a tram station down the road at about 3-4 minutes walk from the hotel.

The hotel is in a great location. The room was spacious and spotless. The personnel was very helpful; The breakfast had a great selection.

Make sure you book your taxi from the airport to the hotel in advance. Don't organise excursions or buy a SIM card from the airport. It's a total rip-off. Istanbul Markets Grand Bazaart has fantastic architecture and history; unfortunately, it's not shared with the public. The bazaar and the restaurants in the Old City are extremely expensive. Istanbul has two different prices, one for the Turkish people and one for the tourists. It is a shame, as Istanbul is a great city.

I absolutely love this hotel and will be back for sure. Ugur (sp?) and the greater team there were exceptional: warm, welcoming and accommodated my brother and I. We arrived at 9am, extremely tired and they allowed us to check in early and invited us to enjoy breakfast. I'm in awe of the kindness. Thank you!

Loved the location of the hotel, right next to Hagia Sofia, Topkapi palace, Blue Mosque etc. The staff was also really helpful and nice

The room we had, with street view, was unexpectedly noisier than we thought but overall bearable. Everything else was perfect

Staff were very good, helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel was quiet at night.

There was no view out of the window - just a brick wall.

Thai was our third stay at this hotel and my second review. The location is unbeatable and the staff is attentive and nice.

I feel that the hotel lowered the services over the years, compared to our first time we’ve been there. Even though the rooms were clean, there is a lot of wear and tear and you can see that everywhere: a little stain on the carpet, a chipped mirror, shaky shower screen…. We were given a room at first floor just near the stairs that it was very very noisy due to all people going up and down and also children running around. The room had also a tobacco smell … Breakfast options were numerous but quality of products was not that good. All in all it was ok, but not as good as 5-6 years ago.

Personnel was very nice and professional, they are friendly and engage in conversations with you. Breakfast was alright, not too fancy, but sufficient options for everyone Location is perfect, very close to tourist attractions and there is a parking space across which works closely with the hotel

The room we were staying in was quite small for 4 beds, barely any room to open luggage. Wi-fi was very bad, it kept losing connection the whole day. some areas were not hygienic enough, the bathroom still had some hair from the previous guests, under the bed was never cleaned

The location is prime. Located walking distance to Hagia Sophia and blue mosque. It is safe to walk around at night. I walked around with my wife and two kids at 3-5 AM.

Honestly, there isn’t anything to complain about.
