Everything about the hotel was excellent. The location was so near all the main sights and we could walk to Basilica Cistern, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia etc. The tram stop is a few minutes walk. The rooms are clean and very modern and the showers are so hot and nice. The hotel staff are exceptional, from Mr Ali who greeted and checked us in to Mr Errol as well as the staff who served us breakfast. They just go that extra mile to make you feel so welcome. And the most thoughtful thing was our flight was early in the morning and they prepared sandwhiches for us to take a long. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and if I come back to Istanbul, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for an amazing stay

I had a truly wonderful stay at this chic and beautifully designed hotel, perfectly located in the heart of Istanbul—just a short walk from iconic landmarks like the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The atmosphere is both elegant and welcoming, with a stylish interior that reflects the city's charm. What truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. Ahmed was incredibly attentive, polite, and respectful throughout our stay, always going the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable. Erol was equally friendly and eager to share insightful tips about the city that helped us make the most of our visit. The rooms are on the smaller side but very cosy and thoughtfully arranged. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and I would happily return. The warmth of the service and unbeatable location make this hotel a fantastic choice for visiting Istanbul. Definitely, we would stay again!

There are a few areas where the experience could be elevated even further. It would be lovely to see more variety or rotation in the breakfast menu to keep things fresh for longer stays. A small welcome gesture, such as complimentary bottled water upon arrival, would also be a nice touch as the hotel charges for water. Additionally, updating the in-room kettle and tea/coffee facilities would enhance overall comfort.

Zeynep Sultan Hotel is simply a perfect stay in Istanbul! Rooms are clean, spacious, with all needed amenities. It is literally a 3 min walk from Aya Sofia and most of major tourist attractions. The area is great, a lot of restaurants/bars around. The staff is SPECTACULAR! They booked our airport transfers, additional tours and generally we very helpful with tips how to get around the city. Also - great breakfast and a nice complimentary tea/coffee/cookie time in the afternoon on the terrace overlooking Aya Sofia and another historical mosque 😃 definitely will come back!

- Location is two hundred steps from the historical centre, ie Hagia Sophia etc. - The staff is very friendly and they made their best to meet our every need - My nicer half and the family found the breakfast particularly good - it had omelette, sausages, very nice special hot pastry etc etc. I was a bit less impressed by soluble coffee machine. - very warm rooms keeping in mind that was December - convenient bed.

- The rooms are very small. That was not a huge problem as we were there only for the night sleep. - muezzin’s song was very loud in the morning, but what you can expect staying close to the main mosques?

I have booked this place because i found it on the site that how close it is to the center mosque, basilica, the grand bazar...etc.. and the breakfast is also fantastic too. The room was clean and tidy. the Staff were very helpful and Polite.

the only annoying thing it was the person outside directing the car for carparking for the mosque it was so loud in one morning that he woke us up...this carpark men have nothing to do with the hotel it just happen that he was right there as our room window was facing the street.

Great location, within walking distance of Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and it's a nice bonus that they have a cookies and tea / coffee happy hour which is hosted daily in the early evening at the hotel. Terrace is lovely and a great place to have breakfast!

Only complaint is that the walls aren't particularly well sound-proofed - so we were woken up by any conversations taking place in the reception area which was outside where our room was located.

Perfect location, all of the primary historical places in a few minute distance. Parking place in the street, for 700 turkish lira per day. Friendly and helpful people. We loved to have breakfast at the terrace. We asked to change the room as we get there - not because of any problem, we just wanted the same like the last year - they snap the fingers, done. We choosed this place because we get there by car, we wanted to walk a lot and have a chance to get back to the hotel at any time during the day for a short brake or have a shower, or just put down what we bought during the day - it is perfect.

Very well located, walkable distance to all the main touristic sites. The breakfast was very good, served in a beautiful terrace. The hotel also offer a happy hour on the house. The staff was helpful and kind all the time. The room size was perfect, comfortable bed, the shower and bathroom also very nice.

The ac is central so you can’t adjust the temperature as you prefer. I was there during the winter season and the room was too hot. The only thing I could do was to turn off the ac. The minibar was not refrigerated, it was actually heating stuff. Not sure why.

Location is excellent. Hagia Sophia is right outside your window, and Zeynep Sultan Mosque is in your yard. The room is clean. All appliances work well. The breakfast is very satisfactory and varied. Our room had an unusual view, but the view from the terrace was just special. It's very nice that from 5 pm to 7 pm the hotel has free tea time, and you can relax on the terrace with tea. Many thanks to the staff for their attention. Their advice was helpful. Highly recommend it.

Nothing, everything was great.

Lovely small hotel in a good location in the tourist district. Stayed here for four days in December and it met our needs. Clean hotel with good shower. Breakfast was good (as it was included) albeit it did get a bit repetitive after four days.

Temperature in the room was a little high (this was in winter) which made getting to sleep a bit of a problem. Also, there must be a nightclub nearby as we could hear loud music up to about 11pm. We still did get a reasonable night’s sleep, but it’s a bit frustrating.
