I spent a week at Elasophia Hotel in Istanbul with my family, and it was an unforgettable experience. We stayed in a triple room, which was spacious and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always willing to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. The location was perfect! The hotel is conveniently situated near the Hagia Sophia Mosque and the Blue Mosque, making it easy to explore the historic sites. Additionally, it was very easy to access public transport, with the Tram Station just a short walk away. The breakfast was perfect, with a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was wonderful, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Elasofya Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul!

This hotel has one of the best locations in Istanbul — right in the heart of the Old Town (Sultanahmet), just steps away from all the major attractions like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar. We loved how easy it was to walk everywhere — no need for taxis or public transport. The area is full of cafes, shops, and historic charm. It’s the perfect place to stay if you want to immerse yourself in Istanbul’s history and culture. What made our stay even better was the amazing staff. . They were always ready to help us with any question or request. I especially remember Muzafar, who was so kind and helpful during our stay We also booked the hotel–airport transfer, and it was a smooth and comfortable ride in a clean Mercedes minivan for a very reasonable price. The driver was polite and professional — such a stress-free way to finish our trip!

The reception staff Mustafa was awesome...he will make sure that your are comfortable..and will help with anything u need....he helped us to book ferry to Bursa...and suggested many activities and places to visit. The hotel as clean....excellent location...wqlking distance to everything around Sultan Ahmet area. The breakfast is good and delicious...and most importantly...it is served in their street-faced resturants....it is the best thing in this place indeed....I stayed 4 nights...then cannot resist the temptation to extend my stay for another 3 nights. I hope next visit to Istanbul they are still doing good work...and giving competitive price. Wonderful Stay! Had a fantastic time at this hotel! The transfer service was very convenient, and the staff were incredibly helpful – even assisted with booking a taxi. I was surprised with a birthday cake, which was such a lovely touch. The hotel is pet-friendly and in a perfect central location. Highly recommend and would love to come back!

I stayed at the ela_sophia_hotel for the first time in October last year and I was captivated by the cosy and colourful interior of the café where we had breakfast in the morning, enjoying the view outside the window, the noisy trams and such tart and fragrant tea. The hotel staff won us over with their attention and care, responding to all our requests and trying to make our stay comfortable and unforgettable. After booking the hotel, the managers immediately contacted me via watsup and were in constant contact, organising a personal and comfortable transfer from the airport to the hotel. The hotel is within walking distance of all of Istanbul's major historical sites - Topkapi Palace, Gulhane Park, the Underground Basilica, the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The Spice Market and Grand Bazaar are a 15 minute walk away. On this trip we decided to stay at this hotel again. During the day and in the evenings you can enjoy Turkish cuisine and have a great time as the staff and guests often organise performances together. You won't be bored here! I would like to thank the hotel staff and managers Muzafar and Ulas for their attention and care!

We received a warm welcome by front-end staff who were always friendly, attentive, and frequently enquired to assist with any travel matters, including assisting with our luggage. The breakfast was delicious with a good level of variety. The ambiance in the eating area was pleasant with the ‘soft' music in the background. The location is perfect, in walking distance to major tourist sites, and on the tramline route (please bear this in mind if sensitive to ‘noise’). The rooms clean and tidy, and appreciated that the hotel is conscious of recycling and environment with designated mini-bins in the room. Would definitely stay here again!

The location was amazing – just a short walk to Sultanahmet and all the main attractions. The staff were very helpful, always smiling, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Breakfast was good and tasty, with enough variety to start the day well. The hotel itself is not very modern, but it was clean and had everything we needed. Overall, a pleasant stay with a great atmosphere!

We stayed at Elasophia Hotel from July 7th to July 16th and enjoyed our stay very much. The location of the hotel is very optimal. From our window, we could see Hagia Sophia, which is about as central as you're going to get in Sultanahmet. The tram goes by right outside the hotel, and the station of Gülhane is around 3 minutes of walking from the hotel. It was easy for us to get around in Istanbul from the hotel - the tram, metro, and boats were easily accessible. It is close to several streets filled with great food, entertainment, and shopping opportunities. The hotel is connected to a restaurant where the breakfast is served from 08.30-10.30. They had both traditional turkish seating (cushions) and dining tables. The breakfast was delicious, and the hot foods served changed every day. The rooms were very nice, but the thing that stood out most to us was the staff. Both those in reception, the restaurant, and the cleaning crew were very nice, welcoming, and accommodating to any requests we had. We enjoyed talking to them a lot, and they helped us with what to do whilst staying in Istanbul. To top if all of the hotel is affordable compared to others in the same location.

Amazing location in the heart of Sultanahmet, very close to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, etc. Breakfast is simple but very good. Rooms are also simple but comfortable, with all the facilities and very clean. Staff were very welcoming, attentive and helpful. Special thanks to Muzafar.

-Walls are thin so it can get a bit noisy if fellow guests are loud. I still had a good rest though :)
