We arrived at 9am and check in was at 2pm we were able to get in by 12 pm The staff was amazing the room was amazing as is on the photos the manager was very friendly as well as the lady who came to clean our room daily , the manager would often offer us free drinks and the resturant at the hotel gave us discount when eating there If I come to istanbul again id definitely book this place again! Location was perfect just a walk away from gulhane station and there is a beautiful park (gulhane park) right opposite which is great for chilling and enjoying park vibes and all the beautiful flowers

The taxi couldnt drop us off right infront of the hotel due to location however the staff at the antik restaurant were more than happy to help us with all our luggage We had 1 night of no power but that wasn't the hotels fault I think it was that part of the area however there was back up generators

It is located in the heart of the city, just a few minutes walking from Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace, etc. A 15 minutes walk from Eminonu port. So it was very convinient. We got a tea while we’ve waited for the check-in process. The room was very clean (and they cleaned our room every day). The hotel has a restaurant with a cute, cosy feeling, colorful lampions and the food was very good. Same price as the other restaurants in the area. The staff was helpful and friendly. Offers taxi service. I recommend it for a few nights stay in Istanbul.

- Needs a bit of maintenance - side lamp was not working, the toilet in one of the rooms was running all day and night, and one of the rooms has a moldy leak spot (not sure if it was an old one or not) in the ceiling over the bed - Air Conditioning Units were old and noisy. They were working though. Replacing them would have made the stay a more comfortable one. - There's no way to inform the room maintenance staff not to enter the room (ex: with a "don't bother" sign): the system for the door was not functioning properly, and there wasn't any legacy sign made of paper. This lead to one of the room maintenance guys walking in at 2am by mistake while one of us was sleeping, thus waking him up. It was not a big issue this time but it could have been disastrous.

Mehmet is an amazing host. Helped us to find the hotel and with the luggage. Always nice and friendly. We got complimentary tea and coffee while waiting for our check-in time. The room was well kept and clean. We've been provided with everything we needed.

The hotel is great for its price, but here are some minor things to bear in mind: - It's a bit tricky to find the exact entrance and the taxi won't be able to get to it, but it's not that far from the closest drop off point. - The location can seem a bit noisy for some, given the tram and the lively neighbourhood, but the windows can be kept closed. - Rooms might be small

Grear hotel in a good location in Sultanhamet, at 5 minutes walking from the main places to visit (blue mosquee, St Sophia, Basilica Ciceterne, 20 minutes from the grand bazar,...). Galata tower is at 35 minutes by foot The hotel is located in quite street which is appreciate knowing the noise in Istanbul. Materasse confortable, room clean and cleaned every day.

The property was is in a perfect location. Topkapi is just across the street. Train station too. The taxi dropped us off a few blocks earlier and the hotel made sure to reach us and help us with our luggage. There is a wonderful restaurant down the property. We reached earlier and they were very accommodating and gave us an earlier check in. Infact they offered us tea and breakfast at the cute little restaurant while they prepared our rooms. Anything that we needed they simply just made sure we had access to. All in all I can’t praise this place more and it was the best decision to have chosen this place to stay in.

Absolutely nothing

The staff were so friendly, kind, and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and cracked lots of jokes with us. The staff helped with moving our luggage around as well which was great as there was no elevator available. On our last day, they were happy to store our luggage for us at no extra charge as our flight was at 1:35am and even let us use one of the rooms to shower and freshen up before our flight despite being after our check out time. We recommend arranging a shuttle for your transit between the airport to Ankit house. The staff at Ankit house were super helpful and arranged this for us. We preferred shuttles over Uber and taxis, as these services were extremely unreliable in Istanbul. We were relieved that Ankit house could help us with this and there was no stress making it to the airport on time! We were a group of 5 and booked 1x double room and 1x room with a single and double bed. Both spaces were super clean and exceeded our expectations. The beds were really comfortable, bathroom and rooms were very spacious and had great air conditioning. They provided a generous amount of shampoo and soap and had chilled bottled water ready for us on arrival. There was also a safe to keep our valuables in while we were out. There is a cafe/restaurant adjacent to the accommodation and also owned by the same people. They prepare lovely meals and even gave us apple tea and baklava on the house. We were absolutely treated! We received a discount as we were staying at the partnering accommodation which made the prices at Ankit Cafe/Restaurant quite competitive compared to other local eateries. The location was well placed, and within walking distance to lots of shops and attractions such as the Blue Mosque, the park, and Grand Bazaar. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Istanbul.

There was no elevator. This wasn't a huge issue as the staff helped us with our luggage and there aren't many floors, but worth being aware of before your stay.

We had a great stay at Antik hotels. It is just a few steps away from most of the attractions. Rooms are kept clean with basic amenities. Staff are kind and help around with the tourist places.

However, our experience during check our was unpleasant. We had informed the reception about our check out the next morning and requested for help with our luggage as our room was on the second floor and the place did not have lift service. There was a kitchen staff during our check out and he refused to help us. He was rude and disrespectful. We hope the hotel staff take this into consideration and ensure guests have some assistance with the luggage. Apart from this we had a lovely stay! Thank you.

There is no main entrance to the hotel, in addition, there is no reception desk. To reach the hotel, one must pass through narrow corridors. Also, there is no elevator. Also, there is no restaurant for breakfast.

Very central location! Everything is super close to the tourist attractions and within walking distance. The hotel itself has its own restaurant which serves lovely food. Also close by are cash machines and vending machines for Istanbul Karts. The staff were very accommodating and helped to arrange airport transport as well as an iron. Highly recommended!
