The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfasts were simple, but homemade by a very sweet lady Tamara and we never left the canteen hungry. Also the location, it’s perfect! a quiet street in the center of old city, close to metro, marmaray line, tram and ferries. Best of all: good heating system with real radiators, not AC (tho AC is also available), which is especially important for those, who travel in winter.

The building is understandably old, same as the interior. The furniture in the bathroom was literally falling apart. The hotel definitely wants good repair and redecoration. For the price we paid it was expectable. Removed the stars for an alive and kicking red cockroach which was found running from the tea tray, where cups, teabags and sugar were kept, on the day of our arrival. When I informed the receptionist, he just chuckled, so I feel like this is normal for the place. (yet, I must admit that was the only time I saw a cockroach within a 6-nights vacation)

The staff was friendly and helpful, gave some tips on where to go and answered any questions I had about anything. Yemen (I hope I wrote his name correctly) was of exceptional help and we had some great conversations with him! The breakfast was great, lovely selection of local cheeses, meats. They had lovely olives and sweets too!

I could hear the visitors upstairs quite well, which was not ideal when I was trying to go to bed after a busy day of exploring the city. The plumbing was not great and was also very audible, woke me up more than once.

The stay was very convenient. not too close but not too far from public transport. If you want to avoid walking uphill when returning to the hotel, get off at Sultanahmet Station, and it’s a downhill walk to the hotel. When heading out from the hotel, you can simply walk downhill to the nearby Gulhane Station. The hotel staff were extremely helpful. I accidentally left my bag at the hotel and only realized it after returning to Malaysia. Thankfully, the hotel staff contacted me. I requested their help to send the bag to another hotel where my friend was staying in Istanbul. Mr. Osman, the hotel manager, was incredibly helpful.He personally delivered the bag without asking for any payment, even when I offered. Overall, the staff here are honest, trustworthy, and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with sincere service.

Everything. The location was wonderful. The rooms were clean, pretty and confortable. The breakfast (not included, but we paid separately) was delicious, and the woman serving the breakfast super nice and friendly. They also helped with the transfers to and from the airport.

I think the only thing is that the pictures in the add are different from the rooms we got. Also, when we arrived we had to sleep in different rooms and then change for the second night. They explained they had a bee problem and they were cleaning the actual room that would be assigned to us. Not a problem, just a minor trouble.

The location and overall appearance of the building are cool. Aside from the main street, the hotel is quiet, except for the evenings, when the nearest bar starts playing music (not very annoying actually, and they finish by 10 PM). We bought the ground-floor apartment, that was big enough - two rooms facing opposite sides of the building: "living room" faced the road, the bedroom - backyard with all the AC stuff and other noise-makers. By the way, windows provide good sound isolation when shut - rather comfortable sleep at night. The stuff let us in two hours earlier the official check-in time. We appreciated that,.

What we did not like is the smell of humidity due to the specific location of the apartment - the ground floor Yet, having opened the windows in the both rooms we got the air flow through, after which the smell disappears. The second factor - just to know: the ground floor windows. In the street they have coffee tables and chairs right next to the windows. People love to sit there and talk loudly :-), especially in the morning. Do not forget to shut the window if you do not want to be woken up by somebody's talk.

It was a great location - central to so much of what we wanted to do and see. The room was spacious - for three people. Beds were great. Above all, the staff was excellent - friendly, helpful.

The breakfasts were okay but when you are there for 3 or more days, there could be a bit more variety. Still, what was served was good and there was lots to eat.

The staff here was very nice and helpful. They helped with ordering cheaper taxi. They keep our baggage after checkout for the whole day and even gave us free hot tea after we checked out while we were waiting for the taxi. The hotel itself is nice and clean for it's price in a good location.

The hotel's location is excellent; it is near the Gulhane tram station and the Marmaray Sirkeci station. Hagia Sophia Mosque and Sultan Ahmed Mosque are all within a 5-minute walk. There is a market just 20 meters from the hotel, making it truly an ideal location. The hotel is somewhat older, designed in an Ottoman style, with plenty of charm. It might not be ideal for those who prefer modern buildings, but it’s definitely worth every penny you pay.

My friend and i were there for 6 nights and it was absolutely amazing, the location is right where you should be if you want to be close to all main museums (aya sofia , bule mosque..) the heart of istanbul, streets are calm and we feel safe... the room we had was spacious , neat and clean. very charming old building you can feel istanbul's spirit between the walls :) ♡ (but renovated ofcourse) and last but not least the staff is amazing , everyone of them from the manager , receptionists, tamara the lady in the kitchen is a sweetheart, anyone who works there is kind, caring and very supportive, anything you need they are here for your service. ps: they dont do room sevice automatically, you just ask and they respond.

However, through the gaps between the buildings, some local landmarks were visible. I especially want to highlight the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. They were ready to answer any questions and provide necessary assistance, creating an atmosphere of care and comfort. The overall impression of staying at Le Safran Suite Hotel is a successful combination of proximity to city attractions, comfort, and hospitality.
