Nice little hotle in the heart of the very famous area of sultanahmet. The famous attraction like hazia sofia is just 5 minutes of walking distance from the hotel. Upon arrival, the room and bathroom were very clean and tidy. The person at reception was very helpful. During the 3 days of my stay, everything was perfect, and i didn't face any problem or disturbance. Also, they had really nice options for breakfast that saved my lot of money. I had spent those money on shopping in istanbul. this is my honest review, and im looking forward to my future stays here. 😊

Receptionist was nice and understanding,breakfast plentiful and fresh, location is top of the line as being right in the middle of it made everything walkable. Hotel was enterable 24/7 so you could hang out at night. Useful information was also provided at the reception

The walls and overall sound insulation are weak, as we could hear the guests in the others rooms talk and our room was also facing the street with the windows having an option of closed or fully open. The room also came with something that felt like a towel as a blanket and the only others provided option was a rather thick jorgan, note that we did not ask for anything as the temperature was rather tolerable to sleep with clothes only. These are somewhat nitpicky but are the only complaints.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the centre of Istanbul . It is in a fabulous position within a few minutes walk from most of the major visitor sites. The breakfast was good and was a great start to a day sightseeing in Istanbul. The bedrooms and bathrooms are compact due to the nature of the building but the showers have great water pressure and temperature a must after a day walking around the city . Faruk the manager was knowledgeable and very helpful and organised our private transfer at the end of our stay . Thanks for a great stay at your hotel .

Review of Hotel Vera in Istanbul I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Vera during my trip to Istanbul, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. It’s close to everything – whether you want to visit iconic landmarks like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, enjoy delicious local cuisine at nearby cafés, or shop in the bustling bazaars, everything is within walking distance. It’s ideal for travelers who want to make the most of their time without worrying about long commutes. What’s more, the hotel offers incredible value for money. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you need, and the excellent service makes it feel like a luxury stay at a very affordable price. For solo travelers, this is a fantastic choice – it’s safe, cozy, and a great way to meet other travelers while still having your own peaceful space to relax. Excellent location - very walkable to all of the major sites in Sultanahmet. Faruk was very friendly and even gave us juice and sandwiches the morning we left because it was so early in the morning that the breakfast wasn’t ready. The room also had a lively balcony.

The family quad room was small, but we knew that it would be from pictures and reviews. There isn’t really room for open suitcases so I wouldn’t recommend for more than a night or two. And keep in mind there is also a metal spiral staircase to get from the 3rd to 4th floor (again, this wasn’t a surprise for us, but could be an issue for large suitcases or small children).

I stayed in the hotel with my kids. The location was great as it was just next to several significant historical sites. We loved walking around the Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosques, the old city, Basilisk Cisterns, etc. during different times of the day. The rooms were small but cozy and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast choices were just right for us and the hotel staff topped it with delicious Turkish coffee. I am grateful to Faruk for arranging a smooth stay for us starting with communication before arrival and then ensuring comfortable airport pick-up and drop. Faruk accommodated to our changing needs and then offered an upgrade for the same price. He also consistently checked in with us to see if we needed anything and we felt very welcome.

The rooms are a bit small. We were OK with it as we spent most of our time exploring the city. Our room was located by the road so there was mild noise late into the evening and early in the morning. If you like walking a lot and enjoying the sights along the way, this is a great place to stay. If you like shopping, the shopping near the hotel can get expensive. There are many bazaars in walking distance (20 to 60 min) that can be visited for shopping.

I also asked them to support for booking a shuttle to the airport at a very early time in the day and it worked well. * the room is clean and the furniture is fine. Same as in the photos. Also the small surface of the room was explicitely mentioned in the description. The rooms have also an interesting locking mechanism making them safe * good breakfast * very good location * top price/performance. Just keep your expectation reasonnable

We went with our family and were in two rooms with only carry-ons. Yes, the rooms are small, but it is in old-town Istanbul where this is too be expected. It would be tight with two full-sized suitcases but definitely manageable. You have to decide if being less than a 5 minute walk from the square with the Haggai Sophia and the Blue Mosque is worth a few extra square centimeters. The hotel was clean, they mopped our room every day, and the staff was super friendly. The breakfast was good, too. The only potential issue I could see is if you want a spacious room, otherwise I highly recommend this hotel. There is also a paid parking lot across the street.

Everything was good, as I mentioned, two full-sized suitcases would make the room tight, but it is manageable. The location and cleanliness easily offset that potential issue.

Great location, just next to all most visited sites, but still in a side street so it is rather quiet Super friendly hosts and a very nice place. I had a good sleep during layover in Istanbul and enjoyed walking around, visited some sites despite arriving at 5pm, everything is just around the corner.

The only thing to mention here is that i could hear some voices and tv running from the neighbours' room. But from my experience, it is common in these types of buildings in Istanbul, so personally i would not bother. Overall the hotel was calm and comfortable.

The location is great, right next to Hagia Sophia mosque, waling distance to Grand Bazar and even ro Galata Tower on the other side of the bridge if you have the time. Anyway, the T1 tram is just down the street. You also have a supermarket nearby. The place was also very clean, which made us feel very comfortable. Beds were comfortable and clean. The breakfast is also quite diverse and good. Our host, Farooq, was also very helpful and hospitable. Thank you for the stay, we had a great first trip to Istanbul :)

The room and place overall is quite small, but you have so many things to do around that you will probably not spend much time in the room anyway.
