Everything! Found it really hard to choose a hotel in Istanbul as there are so many to choose from, but certainly did not regret choosing Kate Hotel. It was exceptional; from the beautifully presented room, the high quality bathroom, the comfortable bed, the finishing touches in the room (everything you could possibly need was provided in the room), to the generous varied breakfast. The first class standard also extended to the service, the room was cleaned immaculately every day and all of the staff were so friendly and helpful, from the lady at breakfast to all of the front of house staff. A special mention to Ayedin and particularly to Yusuf who was so kind and friendly to our young daughter who loved talking to him each time we arrived and left the hotel. And finally, the location was superb! Istanbul is so vast and there are so many different areas to choose from, but Hotel Kate's location in the heart of Sultanhamet, ticks so many boxes. It is less than ten minutes walk to all the sights of the Old Town: Hagia Sophia, Basillica Cistern, Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar and a twenty minute walk to the Spice Market and Galata Bridge. For everything else Sultanhamet tram stop is just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel and the public transport system is cheap, frequent and reliable. The location also feels very safe and even travelling with a young family we felt safe walking around the area at all times of the day and night. In short it was absolutely fantastic, can't recommend highly enough and if we are ever lucky enough to return to this fantastic city we would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed a lot our time there. Service on the reception was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and big enough, warm water, coffe and Thea. The cleaning service arrived around 9am, so use the sing to not bother if you want to sleep more :). The location is very good, near to the tram T1, 10 minutes walking to some attractions such as blue mosque, the museum, and others..

The first day breakfast. We get one omelet for 2 people with other thighs. Not very tasty. The second day we decided to look for our own breakfast outside. The third day we took breakfast in the hotel because we had to leave early to the airport, and that was quite better. They gave as 2 omelet and asked what we wanted on it and the food was better.

Everything from the greeting till the departing was great! Very nice people who work there and make your experience so much more enjoyable and pleasant. Always ready to help and answer to all of your questions. Location is perfect especially I it’s your first time in Istanbul. Majority of must seen attractions are in walkable distance. The hotel itself looks new, clean and renovated. It’s very small but you don’t feel it at all. The room was spacious with a very nice design. Shower was like a little hammam ☺️💛 lovely and soft smell of all bathroom amenities really makes difference. I whaven’t been on the breakfast or in the spa. So I don’t wreally know much abouty it.

I loved this property. Aydin, the front desk manager was so accommodating in that we had an unusual special request. By that afternoon he graciously completed our ask. He is friendly, kind, and professional. He was only happy to meet out needs. The Staff was also very special and kind. First night I was unable to sleep do to jetlag, I sat in the lobby and couple of the team members sat with e and chatted awhile, they provided a cup of coffe. I felt welcomed and cared for. The property, room, and spa is clean and well cared for. All personnel were extremely professional. I had an awesome message right there on the property which was a great surprise. Therapist was so good I fell asleep during my session. The bed was so comfy I couldn't tell my husband was next to me. Breakfast was included, there is a lovely restaurant with a patio that I took advantage of during my early morning coffee watching the area come alive with merchants, people busy off to works, and the friendly little kittens/cats that seem to run around all of Istanbul. Friendly but not a pest.

My only wish that there was a desk or dresser in our room to store some clothes or place a suitcase on or have a Zoom meeting, along with an extra chair. I mention this to Aydin and he was only too happy to meet this request. But I declined due to this was a short trip and and my husband and I made due. This was a no biggie at all.

The location is just perfect, everything walking distance. The hotel is super clean, breakfast was varied and delicious. The personnel is super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend to book a taxi shuttle services with the hotel from the airport. Taxis are complete rip off in Turkey and with the hotel you have a good price and service.

Spa is something that you pay separately. I tried Turkish hamam experience and it was rather average, so would not really recommend it.

Amazing hotel for several reasons. The main one is the exceptional service. Special thanks to Aydin and Veysel at the front desk, who were friendly, polite and willing to help 24/7. You made our stay really comfortable! Secondly, we enjoyed the fresh renovation. The furniture was new and clean. There was an elevator. Everything in the room was electronic (from the switchers to the sign for cleaning) which added a nice modern touch. In addition, the location was top-notch. It’s close to all major attractions with many good dining options around. We recommend this place 100%👍

We liked everything. Small tip for the travelers. The rooms facing the inner yard are generally quieter than the ones facing the street.

The location is very central to all tourist sites and easy walk to ferries. But I like the most of being the new hotel, I enjoyed the quality bedding, firm bed and nice down blanket. Breakfast was very good. I found out on second day, you can order omelette, eggs your choice. I had fresh baked croissant the first day. All good!! When I was doing the research, some popular hotels had very ornate decors. I prefer very modern, contemporary decor of this hotel. All staffs are so wonderful and made my trip very special!!

The room had no places to hang towels after shower. Maybe some wall hooks can be helpful. Also, my room had street noise, maybe you can ask for room not facing the street.

Room was adequate size, bed/pillows very comfortable, everything worked as it should. Clean and tidy. Staff always happy to help. Breakfast was good - lots of variety Location excellent. Unable to accommodate late check out (as fully booked) more than happy to keep our luggage onsite till later in the day and porter was very helpful in getting us a cab when another cabbie tried to rip us off.

Breakfast - we did have small incident with Borek not being cooked through on one day (freezing in middle). Spa below, staff need alot of further training, one of the worst hammams i have had. Didnt smell good either. Really poor and disappointing.

Our stay at Kate Hotel was beyond perfect. The location is great since you can do everything by foot, there are lots of shops and restaurants around and the area is very nice. The breakfast has good options, the rooms are comfortable and the hotel design is nice. Halil made sure that our experience was special and took care of every single detail of everything we asked for, including the arrangements for my birthday dinner that was marvelous because of him!

Veysel and ertuğrul both were very helpful. The location and hotel was really good, it is a cute ,neat and clean boutique hotel with great service.

The wifi was slow and needs better network.
