Proximity to the airport, friendly helpful team, comp shuttle service and breakfast.

Double dip charging. Ok to put an C$80 hold on a card, but to find out they have actually taken the money three days prior and have the gaul to not deduct that from the actual agreed tariff on checkout - but to charge the entire quoted sum plus taxes. When challenged they said “oh it’s just been released but might take 3-5 days to go back to your bank”… This messes with currency wallet management in my card while transmitting. Dubious practice. They say it’s standard. 9 weeks in Canada and Europe 2024 a hold was just that, and cleared real time. Marriott - think again.

The breakfast was good but a better variety would have been decent. We got bored of it after the second day. Fairfield had cancelled our stay due to unforseen reasons but they were were kind enough to rebook us at a nearby hotel....at first we were a little concerned as this never happened before. But it was worth it. So my survey was based on the other hotel. Which was decent my family only complained that the room was a bit small. Other than that we loved it.

I didn't like the last minute hotel switch but in the end it worked out well. Our only concern was the new hotel room was a bit smaller than what we were use to.

Shuttle service to airport, very comfy beds. Quiet despite the closeness to the airport

The breakfast area is too small, people queuing around the buffet and squeezing past each other with hot drinks at plates. You can make your own waffle, but the queue was about 20 minutes, and blocking the way to drinks. Also don’t like the one use cups cutlery and plates, the amount of waste was impressive. We didn’t need parking, but we noticed a lot of struggle to get a spot. The pool was under refurbishment

Breakfast was hot and fresh and offered many healthy items. Beds in the room were the most comfortable I have ever slept on! Blankets were a perfect weight and pillows were fluffy down filled. TV in room offered Netflix as well as HDMI hookups. Air temperature was very easy to manage and consistent. Rolling desk and chair allowed for multiple furniture configurations. Hotel is actually close enough to walk to the airport. Fitness Centre is small but very clean with a TV, cardio equipment, free weights, water, towels, and disinfecting wipes to clean machines after use. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. All room attendants greeted me in the hallways, front desk staff said hello every time I walked by and the evening bartender was fantastic.

QR code for streaming services did not connect to network unfortunately. Airport shuttle drivers don't help with bags at all, aren't friendly, and one didn't stop at stop sign/drove dangerously from the airport to the hotel.

Our flight back to Calgary was cancelled at the last minute and we needed a hotel near Pearson. I phoned the hotel to ask about a shuttle and was pleasantly surprised that an actual human at the hotel answered. They went out of their way to arrange the shuttle, and check in was pleasant and easy after a frustrating time at the airport. The restaurant staff were excellent, the bed was comfortable and the free breakfast was very good. I forgot to check out when we left, phoned the front counter and was told "All good, enjoy your flight." Would absolutely stay again.

A couple of really minor things in the room could have been better: 1. The curtains didn't close completely, and the room faced west, so there was a slice of blazing sunlight in the room until about 9 p.m. 2. The bathroom door needed some WD-40.

Parking charges at $28/night was not disclosed when booking for this hotel We did discovered street parking infront of the hotel was absolutely free of charge, only after paying for 3 day parking

Nice location, in close proximity to the Toronto Airport. Nice employees. The room is big, with all the expected facilities, and it has a good view of the town. Free and timely pickup and drop off shuttle buses.

We had an emergency due to a burst pipe in the 5th floor, the alarms in the rooms triggered and the Firefighters were on time, but creating awareness of what was going on was little bit late. People weee initially confused on what to do and where to go. There was no clear floor or fire warden.

They said there was some kind of an emergency and my reservation was cancelled. They rebooked me to the Crowne and told me I would be charged the same amount over there. We had a glorious stay at the Crowne, where the beds were so comfortable, we didn't want to get up.

Can't complain

Location was great for our needs. It is also very easy to get to and find. Complimentary breakfast was delicious, good choice and variety and all very fresh. Room is so spacious, and we didn't hear any noises through the night at all, not even all the planes flying by. Easy check in, easy parking and felt a little extra secure parking in the underground parking. Building felt very secure.

Not a lot of amenities near by. Was travelling with a service dog, not a lot of space for the dog to relieve themselves unless going out the front door each time which could be busy with check ins and check outs.

My flight was late and I got to hotel around 11pm. I had to go back to airport for noon next day. Shuttle service and front desk (checking and check out) cleaning staff were courteous, fast and had a positive spark when talking with them. The room was clean, very large and the bed was clean and inviting. Great quiet sleep. Breakfast was bountiful and had a large variety of items, eggs, waffles, several breads, fruits, juices and good coffee, etc. Female hostess was particularly pleasant and very helpful.

Only complaint, I couldn’t stay longer.
