Great location - very walkable, close to the metro. My room was spacious and comfortable. The inside of the hotel was generally quiet. Good selection for breakfast and perfect having Food Hallen right downstairs for yummy local bites.

If I returned to this hotel, I would likely ask for an interior room not facing out onto the street. My room was right above the outdoor patio for Food Hallen, which generally wasn’t overly noisy except one evening when they were hosting an event. This is not the hotel’s fault, but the streets were quite noisy at night with what sounded like street racing.

Funky style hotel with a lot of atmosphere in the lounge and reception area. Great location in the developing Kop van Zuid area. Spacious rooms with coffee//thea facilities, huge smart tv, and great balcony with a view. The bathroom is spacious with free toiletries. Friendly staff.

Long waiting line at check-in. Two employees were standing around behind the desk but did not help the two receptionist or open extra desks.. The hotel sends a lot of requests to check in online. But unfortunately this doesn'work (booking.com removes the link(. I send the hotel some messages about this but never got a reply...

Coffee amazing. Lovely breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Small grocery store behind hotel for food, wine. Great walking around the hotel, waterfront and over the bridge. Very close to transit, waterfront taxis. Expensive cab ride from central station and transit not running in wee hours. Loved the downstairs lobby with comfy couches, several interesting fireplaces and lovely music and atmosphere to hang out waiting for someone.

It was a bit far from other things in Rotterdam such as central station but very close to cruise terminal which was the purpose of booking here.

Room was amazing - upgraded on arrival thanks! Huge bed and TV with good array of channels. The communal areas were brilliant - different, very comfy and welcoming. I love that breakfast is served until 12 - adds to the flexibility of a holiday stay. Love the location.... near metro, tram and water taxi. And plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. I would look at staying at other hotels in the chain due to this.

Some nights a little noisy due to being above the Food Hallen. I had ear plugs with me so not a big drama. I was surprised there wasn't hand soap in the otherwise well stocked sink caddy. I did ask housekeeping ladies for some soap but they said they didn't have any.

Although the song in the movie #Encanto said " We don't talk about Bruno", I have to talk about it: everything was perfect. Very comfortable beds, spotless, and the location was wonderful, just a few minutes walking to the metro and tram station. The staff were very helpful by providing us connected rooms which gave us much freedom with our kids. And the atmosphere at the foodhall was wonderful. There is also a supermarket just across the street where you can find anything you want. If I'm ever to go back to Rotterdam, I'll definitely stay in Bruno.

Great location, in a very central and nice area with great night life around and lots of things to see. Our room had a street view and it was quiet and cosy. Beds are comfortable, the toilet and bath are clean and nicely designed. The whole building is well designed. Each room is carefully and tastefully designed, as well as the public areas. Central space is an indoor atrium flooded with light and with lots of comfortable chairs and sofas around the bar. Haven't used their gym and spa but they also seemed nice and clean. The staff is very polite and helpful, less formal than usual hotel staff which makes the conversation and the stay more pleasant.

Some soaps and toothpaste, maybe even sleepers would be nice to have included. There is a convenient shop downstairs so you can also buy those, but still a bit annoying.

We had an amazing stay at Room Mate Bruno. The hotel's aesthetic is amazing, the lounge was very unique and quite colorful, very nice for taking memorable photos and really adds to the experience. The staff were really friendly and gave us tips on what we could explore around the city. One of the services they offer in their rooms (and definitely one of my favorites since I like watching tv after a long day of walking around the city) was the Chromecast they had on their TVs which a lot of older hotels don't really have. It streaming movies and series from my phone so much simpler. Location-wise, it's also very nice. There was a Food Hall just next to the hotel so you have more selection. The tram station was also very close, just 2-3 min walk from the hotel. There's also a tiny convenience store just behind the hotel. Our room was at the first floor and our window/tiny balcony was facing the street but it wasn't noisy at all since the streets there were not that busy, there were barely any cars passing through.

The only criticism I probably have was the parking connected to the hotel itself. The parking area was quite small and the entrance to it was pretty tight. The cost of parking was also quite expensive (25 EUR per day) but I think parking around that area was generally expensive.

Excellent location, away from tram noises of the city. Funky neighborhood and very chill staff. The historic building adds to the charm but inside is a totally different story! Beautiful colorful decor, and rooms designed well to the T. Squeaky clean!Spaces are also minimized but it doesn’t feel like it because of the decor and style. All in all a very special stay!

Nothing much, except we didn’t have the view of the harbor but of the inside courtyard so a window or outlet (there was a pseudo window) wasn’t an option making the room feel a bit stuffy.

Great location near cruise terminal and public transportation (tram and metro). Friendly staff and a quiet and comfortable room. Breakfast was fantastic! Also the nespresso machine was a welcome surprise in our room. We also were lucky and got upgraded to a larger room with a terrace - which we really enjoyed!

While the room was far from dirty - there were a couple places that had something splashed on the wall that slipped the eye of housekeeping. Nothing gross but I just notice those little things

It's very quiet, very stylish, and very nicely kept. We appreciated the offered services in the reception area. The location is very good for tourists in Rotterdam. Internet worked very well and the hairdryer was nice and powerful. We will definitely use it again.

The shower felt like it's not entirely water proof and we were missing enough space to hang our big towels. The garbage bin could need better bag inserts that don't sink in under a little weight once it fills up. Inside rooms could benefit of slightly less see-through daylight curtains, as we had to use the big curtain to make sure we're not visible to other people even with the daylight curtains being closed already.
