the room was huge - there was some sort of folded door between the bathroom and the room which also means you were really far away from the door which meant that you didn't hear what was going on on the floor making for a very nice difference to most hotel rooms great water pressure - which is always welcome :) Nespresso machine in the room located close to a metro and tram station which makes it easy to go the center if you don't want to walk

wasn't really a problem - but the mattress wasn't as firm as I would have liked - still slept very good and is certainly not a reason to not stay there again, which I definitely would

Great location - very walkable, close to the metro. My room was spacious and comfortable. The inside of the hotel was generally quiet. Good selection for breakfast and perfect having Food Hallen right downstairs for yummy local bites.

If I returned to this hotel, I would likely ask for an interior room not facing out onto the street. My room was right above the outdoor patio for Food Hallen, which generally wasn’t overly noisy except one evening when they were hosting an event. This is not the hotel’s fault, but the streets were quite noisy at night with what sounded like street racing.

The most caring and thoughtful hospitality team I’ve ever experienced! The photos of the hotel themselves have already been so beautiful, hence my decision to propose to my fiance there. But being there enjoying the facilities and room, and especially getting all the help I could have asked for from the front desk and room service teams who all helped my setting up my proposal night for her. So again, thanks Room Mate Bruno for this memorable moment for the two of us! Regarding our stay, the room is so spacious for two, and super clean in that manner as well. Getting around the city from here is great also, if you’re planning to travel by tram since there’s a station just around the corner. One last bonus is the Food Hallen right on the ground floor so you can enjoy so much type of food if for someday you plan to “eat in”.

Great location - right across from cruise terminal so easy to start early morning cruise. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and public transportation to get anywhere. Rarely used sauna was great. There’s even a yoga area behind the fitness center. Fun social area with couches and swinging chairs for reading or hanging out with your group.

The room was dark (insufficient lighting in my opinion) with dark but brightly colored walls. No laundry facilities on site.

Funky style hotel with a lot of atmosphere in the lounge and reception area. Great location in the developing Kop van Zuid area. Spacious rooms with coffee//thea facilities, huge smart tv, and great balcony with a view. The bathroom is spacious with free toiletries. Friendly staff.

Long waiting line at check-in. Two employees were standing around behind the desk but did not help the two receptionist or open extra desks.. The hotel sends a lot of requests to check in online. But unfortunately this doesn'work (booking.com removes the link(. I send the hotel some messages about this but never got a reply...

Property was very clean. Room are pretty big comfortable bed comfortable pillows are very comfortable. Stay a little far from the centre front desk people should do better. It was some confusion with the charge for the breakfast. I didn’t have and I paid for the facility in advance and when I arrive to the hotel, they were trying to charge mewhen I advised it’s already was paying in advance. They fix it. People are very nice. Breakfast also was very nice and convenient to have it at the hotel in the morning big variety good service very clean.

The location

Coffee amazing. Lovely breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Small grocery store behind hotel for food, wine. Great walking around the hotel, waterfront and over the bridge. Very close to transit, waterfront taxis. Expensive cab ride from central station and transit not running in wee hours. Loved the downstairs lobby with comfy couches, several interesting fireplaces and lovely music and atmosphere to hang out waiting for someone.

It was a bit far from other things in Rotterdam such as central station but very close to cruise terminal which was the purpose of booking here.

Had a very good one-night stay at Room Mate Bruno. The hotel feels new and well looked after. My room was spacious (even though traveling solo), comfortable bed, terrific shower. The common areas are nice, the staff friendly and you can leave your luggage after checkout at no extra cost. Exceeded my expectations as this was one of the cheaper options for that night. The hotel is around the corner from the Erasmus Bridge and a metro stop, and across from the cruise terminal. There's a food court in the same building with a stand selling delicious bao.

Room was amazing - upgraded on arrival thanks! Huge bed and TV with good array of channels. The communal areas were brilliant - different, very comfy and welcoming. I love that breakfast is served until 12 - adds to the flexibility of a holiday stay. Love the location.... near metro, tram and water taxi. And plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. I would look at staying at other hotels in the chain due to this.

Some nights a little noisy due to being above the Food Hallen. I had ear plugs with me so not a big drama. I was surprised there wasn't hand soap in the otherwise well stocked sink caddy. I did ask housekeeping ladies for some soap but they said they didn't have any.

Although the song in the movie #Encanto said " We don't talk about Bruno", I have to talk about it: everything was perfect. Very comfortable beds, spotless, and the location was wonderful, just a few minutes walking to the metro and tram station. The staff were very helpful by providing us connected rooms which gave us much freedom with our kids. And the atmosphere at the foodhall was wonderful. There is also a supermarket just across the street where you can find anything you want. If I'm ever to go back to Rotterdam, I'll definitely stay in Bruno.
