Very nice location. Quiet and very near a metro station (7 min walk). Good breakfast. If you´re going by car, just pay atention that you must have a green sticker. You can buy it at specific authorized places like DEKRA, GTÜ, TÜV Nord and Süd and KÜS. It´s a sticker (permit) to enter the city of Munich.

The hotel exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff was exceptionally attentive and friendly, always ready to help with a genuine smile. The facilities were spotless and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches that conveyed both comfort and elegance. The room was spacious, bright, and fully equipped, offering a truly restful stay. The dining service was outstanding, with high-quality dishes served in a pleasant atmosphere. At every moment, I felt well cared for and valued, making my stay a truly enjoyable experience.

The hotel was truly charming. Every corner reflected attention to detail and great taste, with harmonious décor and a welcoming atmosphere. Everything was impeccably clean, from the common areas to the room, giving a fresh and orderly feel. It was a very pleasant place to relax, with bright, comfortable spaces. You could tell it was perfectly maintained, without the slightest sign of neglect, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Very comfortable bed, our room always kept clean and neat. We loved breakfast every morning, it was very varied and we never got bored with so many options and so was the restaurant for lunch and dinner. The hotel staff was very friendly. It was very convinient that we had a connected supermarket with the hotel and a train station near.

Sometimes we would listen to the noise of people moving things in the room above us. We stayed twice and the second stay there were some issues within our floor and the room lights were off at night... it took several hours to fix.

The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. They provided hard and soft pillows which are perfect. Wifi in the room was fast. Air-conditioning in the room was strong. Toilet had ample sink counter space and the shower water pressure was strong. The hair dryer provided was top notch and very powerful. Location of the hotel was convenient. There is a covered walkway linking to the nearest S-bahn station.

I was disappointed that as a solo traveller I was given 2 single beds. I went back to the counter to let the hotel staff know I wanted a double bed but she told me it was only a request I've indicated and they do not have a room with a double bed available at the moment. After reading most of the reviews, I've concluded the hotel never had a standard room with double bed at all. The lift from the ground floor where the S-Bahn walkway is connected to the reception floor is out of order (probably out of order for a long time). So you'll have to carry your luggage up the stairs or push it up a slope to the reception.

-The location is very convenient as it is about 20 minutes from the center on foot but there is also an S-Bahn stop very close by where the one line that connects the city to the airport passes -Friendly staff -Very rich breakfast and with constant renewal -The room was very comfortable and it was cleaned every day -Beautiful and comfortable space in the lobby to sit and relax there too -Very close supermarket for supplies

-The lack of a mini fridge in the room. It didn't bother us that much during our stay in the winter, but if someone is about to visit the hotel in the summer, I definitely think it would be necessary to have some cold water there. -While I had booked for a double bed, it was actually two singles pushed together -The individual duvets that were provided could have been a little larger

Convenient location.

The staff this round weren’t very helpful. Probably because there is a big conference happening so they all seem harassed . Took wasn’t too clean - there was a layer of dust on the shelves and the bathroom floor had soap scum which wasn’t very pleasant . Housekeeping was bad - they don’t replace coffee pods but kept removing my extra key card after they cleaned the room . Feedback to the Front desk didn’t help as it happened 3 times out of the seven days I was there - the other 3 I put a do not disturb on the whole day . The balance days - I actually had to put a please do not remove and spoke to housekeeping staff myself . A request to reception to replace tissues was not done . I was checking out the next day so didn’t bother to follow up .

The staff at front desk was nice. The location of hotel is near to S-Bahn where is convenient to travel anywhere even city outside. The breakfast was great and atmosphere was nice. It is worthy to come back again.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Munich City Center. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city. One of the best features is the convenient access—you can exit the hotel directly into a mall, which is connected to a train station. This made it incredibly easy to move around and return without any hassle. The breakfast was another highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options and truly one of the best I’ve had.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Munich City Center and overall had a pleasant experience. However, there were a few areas that could be improved. The selection of hand wash and body wash provided was not up to standard. Additionally, I was surprised to find no complimentary water or slippers in the room, which are amenities I would typically expect in a hotel of this caliber. These small touches can make a significant difference in enhancing the guest experience.

This hotel had so much more to offer than I even realized from the descriptions and pictures. The staff were so friendly, the lounge is massive and the dining room for breakfast is so much larger with a big variety of foods than pictures lead you to believe. It also wasn’t clear to me about public transportation, but the S-bahn is just a few minutes walking distance - down below the hotel and through an indoor shopping center, you get to the trains without leaving the building. 2 stops from Marienplatz, and a direct line to the airport. If you prefer a taxi, there are always several waiting right in front of the hotel. We booked an accessible room as I was recovering from surgery, and the spacious shower with a seat and handrails were just what I needed for the week. Have already recommended the Holiday Inn City Center to several friends and would definitely stay again.

These are very small issues, but worth noting if you are staying for any length of time; the fridge is extremely small, and they’ve even put something in the back half of the fridge so it ends up being half as deep as one would expect and no microwave. Our room was also pretty dark - only one lamp in the living room that we had to move to the bedroom area for light.

Housekeeping was shoddy . Carpets were not vacuumed and dusty . Air conditioning vent was open and despite our request to have it fixed it wasn't . The shower didn't sit well and had to be held while showering . Again housekeeping said it wasn't their job
