Very clean and modern hotel with comfortable rooms near to the old city center which you can reach on foot in 10 minutes. You can choose not to have your room cleaned if you stay for more than 2 nights and you will receive a voucher for a free drink at the bar of the hotel (small beer, house wine, beverages). Staff was extremely friendly and the processes of check in/out more than quick.

We didn't select breakfast which is considered quite expensive (24€/night/person) compared to other options in other stores in the city center. The mattresses are comfortable but the the pillows are soft enough for those who prefer harder type. Finally, the slippers which are given free of charge should be in the room and not requested from the reception.

The NH Collection Nürnberg City is a beautiful hotel located a couple of blocks away from the Main Central Station in Nuremberg, but make no mistake, the hotel is not plagued by homeless people like others you see everywhere near train stations; it is in a great and safe area surrounded by many more hotels you can walk to the old city from here. Well-appointed rooms and a great cleaning staff make the facility a nice place for your vacation. The breakfast was great, and it had many other options that you could choose from at no extra cost. The greatest asset this hotel has is its staff. Since the moment we got there, we felt very welcomed by the people at the front desk. A smile makes a difference. The young gentleman who checked us in, I forgot to get his name, a blonde one, was very helpful, also I have to commend Svenja Potzl who was very helpful to us during our stay, she went from giving us directions on how to navigate the city to recommending a good Italian restaurant and ordering a taxi for us. Thanks to the people on its staff, we felt like going home each time we went back to the hotel.

The location was great, public transportation was easily accessible (a minute walk to tram, around ten minutes to central station, a few minutes away from central bus station). The staff were really kind as well and answered all questions I had. I didn’t mention it was my birthday, but the receptionist wished me a happy birthday when she saw it was my birthday. There were games to play in the lobby, in case you get bored during the wait. We also had a nice view from our room on the fifth floor. Facilities, size of room, and amenities were nice as well. They provided several towels of various sizes, which I appreciated.

The tea kettle worked, but was partially broken at the top. The coffee maker also gave us some issues, but it was not a problem in the end. We stayed on the weekend and were a bit disappointed that the hotel restaurant is not open on the weekends, but it was okay. Air conditioning was weaker, but it worked and we were satisfied with it. There were only smaller issues that we were able to deal with and we didn’t really see as big problems.

On the last day of our stay, we were not allowed into the breakfast room because our name was not there. The staff member on duty said to talk to the lobby. Check-in time is 15:00, check-out time is 14:00. If the room and breakfast fee is charged, you can benefit from it on the day you check out, not the day you check in! We went to the breakfast room at 7 in the morning before checking out. If breakfast is included in the stay, the stay ends with breakfast. The young man on duty at the lobby solved this issue.

We recently returned to Nuremburg and stayed a few nights at NH Collection along Bahnhofstraße again. This hotel is located around 5-6 minute walk to the Central station and around 10 minutes to the Old Town area of Nuremburg. Reservation was made through booking.com. We received confirmation immediately. We were able to check-in early upon arrival which was nice. They have luggages storage as well. Check-in was quick and we were in our room in around 5 minutes after arriving at the front desk. Ground floor lobby area is nicely decorated during the Christmas season. There is a bar and dining area on the to the left of the front desk. Gym is on the first floor. Rooms are very similar to what you find at other NH Collection properties around Europe. Sufficient size and space for large luggage. Furnishing nice, bed fairly soft and comfortable. TV, kettle, espresso machine, fridge, safe, hair-dryer all worked just fine. As did the wifi. Bathroom enough space, shower water pressure good. Housecleaning good. They now provide 'Green' card you can place outside your room if you are staying multiple nights. By using this instead of the 'Please Clean' card, NH offers a round of drinks at the hotel lobby bar if you decline housecleaning for the day. We availed a couple times during our stay, that was a nice gesture. Overall, quite pleased with our recent stay at NH Collection in Nuremburg. It was similarly satisfactory to our stay there in the past. Would be just fine staying here again next time in the city as well.

The hotel is situated about 10 minutes walk from the main railway station and a short walk from the historic centre. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and there was a selection of pillows to suit all tastes. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. There was a large selection of hot and cold food, yoghurts and fruit at breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Early one morning,we had water dripping from the air conditioning system, which stopped after one hour. We had to change rooms in the morning, in order for them to solve the problem.

The NH Hotel in Nürnberg offered a wonderful facility within easy walking distance of both old-town Nürnberg and the train station. We arrived by bicycle. Despite being a fairly large city, the approach on bikes felt safe, and the hotel had bicycle parking easily available. The NH Nürnberg was both client-friendly and eco-friendly. The chain offers a “green stay” and vouchers from any NH branch are honored at others. The room was comfortable and very clean. Staff was helpful and kind, despite being in a larger city.

The green stay vouchers were not immediately obvious, but this was easily solved by asking at the front desk.

Fantastic room with excellent amenities including a coffee machine. Room was very clean and there was huge bed. I took the option of a 'Green' room, which means that your room is not serviced daily and therefore better for the environment. You are rewarded with a free drink at night. Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Restaurant for dinner is small but adequate and whilst the menu is limited, its very good. Breakfast is extremely good. All in all - a great hotel within walking distance of the main railway station.

Staff was so friendly, breakfast was excellent, we had an issue with our first room and they fixed the problem immediately. Location is good when traveling by train (not a pretty view in the Altstadt though), but the value is excellent. Spacious and comfortable with lots of thoughtful extras like free fruit, water and candy in the lobby. Will stay there again next time!

Older hotel, so some stains on the hallway carpet and our first room had a bad smell and needed a second cleaning.

Good location. 2 mins tram stop. 7 mins main station and bus stops. Close to town centre and castle with nice scenery. Very comfortable and spacious room with capsule coffee machine, tea bags, kettle and big fridge. Stayed for 3 nights, sparkling water, coffee and tea bags were refilled daily. Didn’t request for housekeeping but they cleaned up the room daily. Aircon temperature just nice and water pressure is strong with a long bath. This is the Best hotel I’ve stayed in Europe so far, will definitely patronize other NH hotels in other cities.

They gave us extra pillows as requested but unfortunately Pillows are too soft for my liking. No small hand towels.
