The rooms are cozy, and they have everything you need. They are clean and modern with some vintage touches. There is under-bed storage instead of a traditional dresser. We were very comfortable with the room. Each room has a little sitting area outside the room or close by. It is beautiful and lush. The grounds of Winslow's Bungalows are like a movie. The various trees and plants are gorgeous. It is a tropical paradise. There are many iguanas and chameleons all over the property. It was magical. The entire island is four by two miles. The bungalows are in the center, so it is easy to get to everything on foot. We rented a golf cart for two days when we went to Fort Zachary beach- just so we wouldn't have to carry everything.

The lights in the room are very pretty. It wasn't as bright as I would have liked at times. During the daytime, it is not a problem because the windows let in plenty of natural light.

Didn’t appreciate the add’l fees for parking our golf cart while staying there. Paying $600.00 per night should included parking.

The room was spacious with high ceilings, a vanity, and gorgeous walk in shower. Bed was comfortable and decor stylish. The pool/bar area was so cute and the breakfast that was included was so delicious with unique options like cheesy grits and deviled eggs, the best Belgian waffles and even energy shots of ginger and turmeric. Staff was very courteous, especially the bartender. Included in our welcome folder was a pirates coin for two free drinks! The foliage around the bungalows was gorgeous, with jasmine trees in bloom and various palms and ferns, so lush and tropical! Our bungalow was in a cool, antique home that had a huge front verandah with wicker chairs and couches.

Location to activities was perfect, not too far to walk, but not too close to the noise and lights of a thriving downtown. Our room was one of the largest on the property and was very comfortable. I loved the Cuban inspired furnishings. The soaps, lotions and shampoos smelled so good! The water pressure and temperature were great. The shower tile is beautiful and looks new. All members of the staff are very friendly. Their service was excellent.

The breakfast was good, but needs a little more variety each day. The air conditioner in the bedroom is very loud.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything we needed. We were welcomed with a pirate token, good for any drink at the bar for each of us. The breakfast exceeded my expectations; it's not your typical hotel breakfast. It was fresh and actually satisfying, not the usual sugary mess. The 3 pools were well kept and a comfortable temperature with towels as needed. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable. Location was perfect, quick walk over to Duval street. Highly recommened!

The grounds of the property are very tropical, lovely, and well kept. We stayed in the Annex, which is across a small side street from the main property, and it was very private and quiet (only 10 rooms). The Bungalow Bar poured good drinks. We had a king room with a private patio space that was great. I've seen reviews about the complimentary breakfast being meager, but that wasn't our experience. The spread was more than adequate and had some type of hot option each day (egg, bacon, and cheese quesadilla one day, pancakes the next, etc.), plus the normal continental breakfast items.

It's a minor point, but the pool areas get busy throughout the day and can use a little more attention/cleanup. The hotel's location is good and it is only 2 blocks to Duval Street, but it is more the quieter end of Duval. Expect to walk a good 15-20 minutes to get to the livelier end, Mallory Square, etc.

The rooms are beautiful. We were on the first floor and when the shutters were open we could see the pool. This is a beautiful facility in a great location for walking in Key West. ALL of the staff was so pleasant. I did feel sorry for the breakfast staff as on Sunday, guests were entering the serving area before the staff had finished set up.

I understand about water moving through the pipeline to Key West, but when you spend that kind of money on a room, I think two bottles of water should be complimentary. It does not have to be the recyclable/refillable.

The staff is very accommodating and service oriented. This is a great location near all the places you’d want to see but minus the crazy. It’s like a little village of cottages and old houses with paths that meandered throughout, with several small swimming pools placed here and there, giving it a very intimate feel. They also have a delicious complimentary continental breakfast, plenty of healthy options and yummy stuff too….with so much more offered to eat than any continental breakfast I’ve had before.

The things that could be improved are more functional storage. The full length mirror was mounted behind the rack where your clothes hang. They need to put a light and outlet near the little vanities. I know these are minor things but they would make the rooms more comfortable.

The breakfast great perk but definitely needed variation. Grits and oatmeal everyday? Yuck. Cold cereal, anything. If you stayed more than a day or two(4 for us) it was tough. They did vary the fresh fruit and a bit with the pastries. Same yogurt everyday as well. They did have live music at the bar some days which was nice. The grounds were nice, area great and very walkable. Staff very pleasant. We had a key issue which they finally showed us 2nd or third day but first would have been better.

Food was good. Very nice bread for breakfast. However, it was pretty gross. That many of the guests were coming down and eating breakfast without shoes and wandering around in the food line inside and then going back out and coming back in. Many of these people should not be out of the house without foot coverings if you know what I mean, L O L.

The bartender was a little bit rude and not very accommodating, which didn’t seem to fit the place
