The room was very clean and spacious. It had 2 balconies with a view of gulf. We were on the 18th floor so it was very quiet too. Elevators were quick to get to wherever we wanted.

Beach is not as conveniently located as we like. In order to get there they offer a golf cart along a wooden bridge through a swampy area that smells and has lots of noseeums. Adult pool and seating area is very small. The larger pool and seating area Is overrun with kids.

Too far to get to the beach, even with waiting in lengthy lines to & from the beach using the air tram. Once at the beach, you’re at the mercy of $14 hot dogs, $24 chicken sandwich & overpriced drinks. Also, this is a much older hotel/rooms.

The staff were very nice and accommodating. They helped me rent a car, went out of there way to get me aloe for my daughters sunburn. Always had my rental car ready within 3 min of me calling from the room. Room service was 20 min or less.

The team to the beach. Other people that were not guests of hotel used the hotel tram to go and come back to the beach. Morning and afternoon the lines were not pleasant. The beach is a state park beach so no servers to your lounge chair. Because it’s a public beach you have to walk far to get to your set of lounge chairs, it fills up quickly and non hotel guests can rent lounge chairs and cabanas.

99% of the staff was excellent! The inside bar/restaurant staff and bellmen (Sammy) were great. Love he large TV in the inside bar and all the TV's outside with sports. Love the pizza set up on the outside deck. Trains to the beach ran frequently and efficiently. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, beds and pillows are comfortable. Bathrooms and closets are spacious.

We tried dining night at The Catch (restaurant) on both Friday and Saturday. Not only did they not accommodate us but they were extremely rude, very dismissive, including the lady who I believe was the manager. She ignored us completely and waited for the hostess to come from the kitchen, to then direct her to turn us away. I understand it was a busy weekend but it is on the hotel/staff to prepare for. We looked forward to a nice dinner, we have eaten there several times in the past, over the years. Very unfortunate.

main pool too busy especially at weekends , evening restaurants too limited in choice -menu never changed the whole week we were there and little atmosphere in restaurants -liked the beach grill but not open in evenings ,

The location was great, and Sammy at the front desk was so nice and helped get our party rooms close together. There are trolly's that will take you the half mile to the beach and they run frequently,

The bathroom had a weird brown stain on the floor by the toilet when we arrived. The beach is a far walk, but it's not a bad one, the trolly line as really long when trying to leave and the beach was PACKED so please expect to be very close with other people.

Beautiful views from room, clean, extremely comfortable, quiet and wonderful staff!

We were traveling with a baby and had him in a stroller most of the time. Almost every time we left through the parking garage the elevator that took us down to the parking garage was not working and we had to wait for someone to call maintenance to fix it. This was very inconvenient since we had no choice but to use a stroller. My husband is in an arm sling due to recent surgery and we had another 4 year old with us as well.

The staff was. We’re all Wonderfull, very pleasant. They were all so very polite, and helpful. They were always smiling and always greets when you come and go in the hotel. I dis think the food could have had better selection. Maybe have Italian food, and more casual food . The breakfast was ok I only had breakfast once. I think you should include breakfast complimentary buffet as part of your stay. As others hotels do.

The patio should have more comfort seating with firepits as you only have two. And some people sit there all night, and others do not have a chance to sit. The hot/pool aclossed early. It should be open at least till 1am for adults ONLY. Some people don’t get to enjoy it during the day too many people there maybe they like to just sit in the hot tub at night after going out to dinner and coming back just a suggestion.. there should be a little more entertainment like shows- music etc for everyone to enjoy the evenings maybe also have a game room movie night somewhere with children can go and the parents can relax. There should be a few more resuarants, like Italian, and stake, as some do not eat fish.

The facilities are really good, and the view from the rooms is amazing! The breakfast buffet is really good and diverse, and the staff is very friendly! The hotel is very pet friendly, and they were extremely accommodating with my ADA service dog. The beach is so beautiful, and the rooms are very big! The hotel is beautiful and the facilities are very clean and aesthetically pleasing. The restaurants have good food and the prices are affordable.

First, the balconies in the rooms have gaps in it, which can be dangerous for small children and animals. While I understand that it's the hotel's design, it would be appreciated if we had been told about it before. Furthermore, while the whole hotel staff is friendly, the valet staff in particular was rude, helping a customer that arrived after us WHILE they were helping us (the vallet employee essentially stopped helping us to help another customer). Afterwards, the employee refused to continue helping us for no reason. We tipped everyone in the hotel, but I specifically told my father not to tip this employee due to his rude behavior.

Near the beach—golf cart shuttle or walk though mangroves—plus the pool is fun. Do not miss the water slide—and I’m not a kid. Good bars throughout.

The rooms slightly show their age—could use a slight refresh AND I don’t like a 40 dollar “resort fee” tacked on per room, per day. Grrrrrr. Also—food in restaurants far from good, but hey, what do you expect?
