This was a cute hotel for a Comfort Inn. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. I didn't have super high expectations, but the hotel exceeded them by far. I would definitely stay here again. The staff were super nice at check in, the room had cotton balls and q-tips, a fridge, a microwave, and coffee. The beds were clean and comfy. I can't stay enough good things about our stay. We went to a concert at Stanford Staduim. About a 10 minute car ride there, right down the street. (Although getting a car to come back was a challenge, just fyi.)

The location is really convenient, close to all places we need to visit. The breakfast is good, a big bonus and saving a lots of time. Staff members are very friendly and willing to help whenever we need. The parking lot is big enough, we don't need to worry for parking, even I saw the hotel was showing no vacancy during our stay. Overall, I am very glad I chose this hotel after looked every hotel around Palo Alto. We enjoyed our stay, and the experience is exceeded my expection!

The wallpaper are old and peeling off, the toilet sometime not working between two flushes, but we are able to find the way to get it working quickly. We knew that based on all previous review, so that's within our expectation. As long as you don't mind for those, then the stay is overall good for the value we paid for!

Best hotel breakfast we have ever experienced! Except they ran out of decaf coffee... Morning manager was great! Nice beds, awesome pillows! Air conditioner was awesome - very quiet too. Easy location, quiet area.

Room a little worn - carpet frayed and up in a couple areas... not real clean under beds. Hand held hair dryer was disgusting - some 'sticky' stuff all over - unable to use or touch...(manager was notified) Couple spiders in bathroom...Dog locked in truck in parking lot. Was barking - a lot....(manager notified). Laws prevent animals being unattended and locked in a vehicle.

I would give it a 10 for what it is but I save 10's for exceptional hotels. Great value for our needs and great staff. (we went to a concert). I wouldn't call it a destination. There are very good restaurants within walking distance. The whole place was clean, they even washed the walkways. It was quiet and they delivered on my special requests for accessibility and quiet from the online booking. Often staff acts like they never saw the booking. Breakfast was standard good and went until 9 so that was nice. Great coffee - surprise!

Breakfast is good. Room was ok for one night stay.

Thought I booked two rooms with two queen beds. Ended up with two rooms with a king bed. Person at front said that it showed I booked room with a single bed. I had no proof and trying to find a number for booking.com was impossible unless I have an account. Also have not received my receipt that I paid for the room. Person that worked front desk said booking .com would email receipt. Still have not received. Guess complaint is more with booking.co then with Comfort Inn.

big room with lots of storage, comfortable king size bed, good size bathroom, excellent shower , quiet location next to busy road but I didn't hear the traffic which is great.

I stayed for 7 nights and I would have liked some variation of the breakfast. the same stuff every day which got boring. the lady who checked me out was a robot. barely said a word and didn't ask me how my stay was or say thank you for staying.

Everyone curious and check in was fast. I had a customer a head of me, and I could tell the questions asked were direct and wasted no extra time yet maintained a welcoming tone.

The air control, but that's just my being picky. The air conditioner was loud, but at that price rate I would not want to sacrifice leisure for cost. All in all I will reserve here first when visiting

Really, this Comfort Inn is the best place we've stayed, and we've stayed in many hotels in the area. Two things in particular stand out. First, the gentleman at the desk. I wish I knew his name. All I can say is that he has a mustache. But he was very friendly and very helpful, and he has always been that way. That's a great welcome to guests. Second, the breakfast is always the best of any hotel we've stayed at, and in itself worth the stay there. We also took note of the upgrading they did to the door locks, with the new tap feature instead of inserting the card into the locking mechanism. Also, the new paint job they are doing to the exterior looks great!

Our air conditioning unit did not work. It just blew air, even at the coldest setting. Fortunately, it was not summer hot, so it was tolerable. But had it been any hotter outside, we'd have asked for a room change.

My only concern is that unfortunately, ONLY PORK is served in the breakfast, which does not consider the vlues and religious traditions of many people like myself who does not eat pork. I discussed this with the front desk employee who politely responded to me that although he agrees with me, but tht is the corporates's policy. In my many many travels, this is the only hotel that I found serves only pork, you know pork is disgusting for many and religiously prohibited for many, so why comfort is insisting to use only pork, because it is cheap?? being very cheap is enough to rethink about it. I hope the corporate makes its breakfast more diverse by providing chicken, for example.

Everything else except the breakfast

It was clean, and more up to date than the last place I stayed at. However, it was a little more expensive than the last place. The bed was very comfortable. I have a bad back and most beds are uncomfortable for me. This was a first as I was able to get a good night's rest.
