The location was fabulous! Close to everywhere we wanted to go in Greenville. They made a falls that was beautiful. We could walk virtually everywhere we wanted to go. The staff made an effort to greet us (sometimes by name) and help us with any questions or issues. The breakfasts were really good and varied and staff was there to take plates and refill food. VERY CLEAN.

I really could have used a business center; the printer they have is VERY difficult to use (there are links and codes you have to enter to print). The gym was pretty small but that was minor.

I appreciated the friendliness of all of the staff members we encountered, from the gentleman at valet parking to the ladies at the front desk. The hotel's location is ideal for attending concerts at The Peace Center, and the parking garage felt safe and secure.

My card was charged more than what was quoted on booking.com, presumably because the hotel added a "destination fee." As I drove only 100 miles through my native state to arrive at this "destination," I am perplexed that I have become responsible for a special fee that I did not agree to pay.

Professional, friendly staff who made an extra effort to see if everything was to our liking. Everyone smiled, made eye contact and seemed genuinely happy to help. The location was convenient to shops, dining, and a beautiful downtown. While we did not eat breakfast, we did grab coffee. The kitchen was well stocked, clean, and again, complete with smiling and helpful employees. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely recommend Hampton Inn & Suites-Downtown-Riverplace to friends and family.

We could not adjust our thermostat lower than 69; not sure if that was just in our room or if it is a universal setting for the entire hotel. Not a big deal, but being post menopausal certainly creates a dramatic temperature regulating dilemma on a regular basis LOL.

I am a frequent traveler and I have stayed here many times. I love staying on the Reedy River and I love this hotel. Every visit has been perfect and the staff is the best. I was greeted by the GM, who treated me like I was the most important guest of the day. Her energy is amazing! Perry loaded up my luggage, took me to my room, and helped me with the TV and made sure everything was perfect. I was there 3 days and every staff member was wonderful, as was breakfast.

The entire hotel is well maintained. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast offerings were plentiful and delicious. My room was well-appointed, providing all the conveniences needed for comfort and ease. The bed was oh so comfy and a much enjoyed respite after riding 20 miles on the Swamp Rabbitt trail. Highly recommend this location as it is in the heart of the transcendent Falls Park area. Steps from the falls, serene sitting vignettes, meandering paths, delicious cafes and bars too.

Proximity to downtown was great, the river and riverwalk just down a flight of steps. The parking deck is convenient (small charge), but a bit of a tight squeeze maneuvering past the check-in kiosk. The breakfast was exceptional. Staff was friendly, especially during breakfast service.

Minor issues - door handle to our room was loose (didn't think to mention it as our stay was short) and the seating area for breakfast was very cold.

Breakfast was excellent and the staff was at the top their game. Everything was fresh and tables were cleaned promptly. Henry and Joby knowledgeable and very helpful. They make the stay extra special!

The only thing that could have made my stay better would have been if I could have stayed longer! Unfortunately it was time to end my magical stay in Greenville. I love your hotel and your staff!

The property was in excellent condition from top to bottom. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was a variety of delicious offerings with a happy, helpful staff as well. That bed was an amazing g respite after riding the trail for 22 miles. The hotel is ideally located along the River and a hop skip and jump from the park with its serene sitting vignettes and flower beds and swings. Amazing!

The location was great ! I also like the breakfast offered at the hotel. The was solid and the people were friendly and good at their job. It made the stay very nice.

Everything was great, but I notice that we did not get the room cleaned daily and for money that I spent on the room I thought it made the hotel look cheap. It was a bad optic for your hotel. Don

The Hotel was nice and bright. In fact my friend and I actually remarked how light and clean looking it was. The employees from the desk clerk to the bell hops were extremely friendly and helpful. Betty who worked in the breakfast room was a pleasure.

I was disappointed in the breakfast. Not a very good selection and the hot (warm) food was not very good. But Betty was a pleasure.
