Older 5 star resort located on a nice stretch of beach. The pool area was great for families to enjoy and relax. Good basic gym that was open from 6am - 10pm, that was well spaced out and never crowded. Great daily buffet on offer, which had a wide variety of Vietnamese and western food options. Our apartment and all of the common areas were always neat and tidy. Walking distance to Ahn Bang Beach which is fantastic as you gives you access to a variety of local restaurants and bars.

Our apartment was fitted with a half kitchen which would have been great for basic meals and snacks, however you were not allowed to use the facilities and you were fined if you brought in external food and drinks. If this rule is in place room service needs to be available and other local restaurants need to be open for longer hours. Also the resort sits on a nice stretch of sand and the lifeguards don’t allow people to go in the water and when you walk on the beach, they over react.

This is an amazing resort, yes there are some negative reviews of upkeep and shops not opened but this is a result of covid and its impact to the whole area. There are some external areas that could do with a lick of paint but nothing that is overly bad nor dangerous. Rooms are spotlessly clean as is the main foyer areas, dining areas and the rooms are cleaned to the highest standard. Breakfast selection was great with a good choice between western and Asian options. Eggs cooked to order was great The pool areas is amazing and the staff are incredible. Mia was the concierge that looked after our family and her recommendations for things to do and restaurants in the local area and in Hoi An were perfect, Mia is passionate about tourism in the local area and it shows in her knowledge. The local community of An Bang has some amazing places to eat, great massages and the beach is good to swim at, can not recommend this resort highly enough

The apartment was a great size and the beds super comfy. Pool was great even in the rain! Great breakfast. The gardens and buildings are kept immaculately clean and manicured. I would probably stay here again as the apartments were excellent for a family.

The property has definitely been impacted by Covid, it’s a huge property that clearly used to have a shopping mall and a vibe but now they are all closed except for the spa, a cinema and a very basic mini-mart. This creates a bit of a ghost town vibe. It was unfortunately raining the entire time which probably didn’t help.

The hotel is part of the bigger complex which has a cinema theatre, housing units etc. The rooms, swimming pool, gym are well maintained. We liked the spread on the buffet breakfast too. Also, they arrange free transport / pick up at certain timings to Hoi An Old Town which was good.

We had dinner at the restaurant and the food wasnt upto the mark. It was a decent meal but not great.

We had a lovely 5 night stay. Outside buildings look a little rusty in spots which is common near the saltwater but inside the buildings and the rooms were perfect. The beds were so comfortable. The resort was so relaxing with no honking horns or noise. The breakfast was delicious with so much variety. The staff were all very friendly. It’s right on the beach. The pool and play room were great for our children. We even watched the Minecraft movie at the cinema (in English with Vietnamese subtitles). It’s a 5 to 10 minute stroll to the local town (lots of restaurants, laundries, spas and a mini-golf place). A 10 minute grab ride to Hoi An old town. Excellent value for money.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing service that truly went beyond expectations. Initially, I wanted to list everyone—restaurant staff, receptionists, room attendants, pool staff—but quickly realized I’d have to include the entire team! However, I must specifically commend the managers whose excellent leadership made all of this possible. The location is another highlight—close to the UNESCO site of Hoi An old town, with a free shuttle bus provided by the hotel. Overall, this resort is a wonderful place to stay, and we highly recommend it!

The room was spacious, and the bed was super clean and comfortable. The pool area is so big and beautiful. The view of the beach from the resort is fabulous. You can walk straight onto the beach from the pool area. It is only a 10 - 15-minute walk along the beach to get to An Bang beach and restaurants. Alternatively, you can catch a Grab. There are plenty in the area. The breakfast was fantastic. A great variety of both Asian and Western options. Eggs cooked as ordered. The staff were super friendly and allowed me to store my luggage for a few hours after check out, as my flight was not until late. Overall, highly recommended and would stay here again.

I called reception at around 2:30 - 3pm to order some fresh milk for my room. The first 3 times, I was hung up on. The 4th time I got through and ordered the milk. It never came. Unsure whether it was the language barrier and they did not understand my request or what happened. When I called later, they said the kitchen was closed and they could not deliver the milk. No apology. Just hung up. Everything else was perfect 🥰

The staff at citadines were absolutely amazing from the reception through to the kitchen to the cleaning staff and the security, pool staff, and the spa staff every member of the citadines were absolutely of the highest quality of customer service. The rooms were exceptionally modern with the cleanliness of the highest standards Cleaned and freshened every day was amazing to come back to.

Had a few issues with the hot water in the showers running out after the first minute they did try and fix the issue. Also that the outside facade of the building was kind of old looking and unfinished and did not look like the photos apon booking. The 7 7 convenient store around the corner from reception was terrible the staff were rude and it was over priced so badly.

The breakfast is fantastic! I really like that the An Bang Beach area is only a 10-15 minute walk away with lots of great options for restaurants and massages. The pool is big enough for everyone and lots of loungers, towels, and volleyballs available. The room was cleaned every day and towels refreshed. The bed was a great size and super comfortable. My family came from South Korea, my dad came from Canada, and we all met my sister and family from Australia. This was the perfect hotel for us.

There are a lot of stores that are closed. There was one convenience store that was open but it would be great if more was available on site. One thing that was strange was that the hotel wouldn't let us swim one day at the beach because of the waves. However, walk 15 minutes down the beach and everyone was swimming. Our room was clean, but it looks bigger in the picture. My sister and family had rented a 2 bedroom apartment and they were told they couldn't bring in any food or drinks or they would be fined. We weren't told that but then were nervous to bring in anything in case we were fined.
