I think Linh Seaside is probably the best location for a visit to Hoi An. It is central to An Bang Beach with tons of restaurants, spas, coffee shops, and mini marts within a few minutes walk. The staff is really what makes this a perfect stay. Ha Giang (sorry I know I'm spelling that wrong) and Van made us feel so welcome and treated us like great friends. It felt more like a homestay than a hotel. We actually stayed at both Linhs and this was a quality they both had. The staff will go above and beyond and even will help you decide or book activities. They aren't pushy, you can tell they are getting their recommendations from guest experiences. The beach is just out the front door, down the block. You're basically on it without being beach front. The restaurant they have a partnership with for umbrellas without service charge or minimums is a great spot with good drinks and food. I pretty much got the grilled oysters daily. The other beachfront restaurants are also just a short walk away. We think this is the best way of visiting Hoi An / Da Nang for a good mix of beach time and culture/adventure. Much better than some big soulless resort. The hotel will call you a car for a ride into town for free much of the day, and when its not free the price is usually better than Grab. If you don't want to wait a few minutes you can always walk a couple minutes to the main road, call a grab, and get an immediate pickup. We really liked the big rooms, pool area, and breakfast area with the beautiful lamps making you feel like you're still in Hoi An at night. Breakfast is awesome you choose between varied western or local options the night before and always get fresh fruit.

Absolutely fantastic stay here. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone planning to visit to Hoi an. While the location outside of the center of the town may look off putting, we found this to be much better as the center is so busy and touristy. They have a free shuttle that operates twice a day, free bikes and taxis are only £2/3 if you go outside of these time. The beach is just in front of the hotel which has a fantastic beach cafe (defo try the tempura prawns and the papaya salad). The beach beds are free through the hotel too- they are comfortable and have sun umbrellas. The beach is great- not busy, fantastic golden sandy beach and warm calm sea. The real highlight are the kind, wonderful women on reception. We were able to WhatsApp them at any moment and they would help, within minutes! They provided fantastic recommendations and provided suggestions we hadn’t even thought about and got us discounts on trips. Their English is great too. CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH. Without a doubt the best place we have stayed in Vietnam and probably ever.

Amazing location! Really can't beat it if you want a stay near the beach. Lovely staff and delicious breakfast. Our room was comfortable (but still cramped with a family with 2 young, crazy boys haha). Was great to cool off in the pool after some time at the beach or in Old Town. The Linh Seaside partners with Phuongs Beach Restaurant for beach chairs and umbrellas which was awesome. We spent so much time at the beach ordering cocktails and dinner, its cheaper than Shore Club and a bit more relaxed as well. Easily walkable to some great places like Heaven Garden Spa and Purble Lantern. Was great to borrow bikes to ride a bit further into town. I accidentally left my Kindle at the hotel and the staff messaged me immediately to let me know. Was very grateful for that! Also, laundry service was quick and affordable. Great little cocktail and coffee shack right downstairs as well (Kua).

It's not so much the hotel but more my kids, but it was a little stressful when they were swimming in the pool because other people were staying in the rooms RIGHT next to the pool. So I was always worried about them splashing and making too much noise. No one complained that I know of but still was stressful for me. Breakfast was great but did find it hard with having to pre-order at night as sometimes we would over or under-order not knowing how hungry we would be in the morning.

The room was big with a good view nature, the staff was very kind and helpful, we really enjoyed staying here, everything was clean and the breakfast was delicious, banana bread with chocolate the best! Also, they have a lift for luggage. They booked us a tour to Cham Islands, which very nice experience. The pool was clean, and the hotel was near to the beach, just a few steps awesome!! At check out, they hold our luggage to go to the beach, and then they help us carry them to the taxi, great experience i recommend!

Location is superb for both the beach & main restaurant/ bar area. Very friendly staff who were always on hand for assistance or advise. You order breakfast the night before which is a basic menu but cooked fresh on your arrival… can highly recommend the banana pancakes. Delicious! Rooms were cleaned thoroughly daily. They arranged taxis to get us to the hotel as due to its location many taxis drop you off at the main road, (about 5 minute walk away, but not easy with suitcases & limited mobility) You felt more like friends than guests.

Our stay at The Linh Seaside was amazing. We were a large family of 12 celebrating a 60th birthday holiday and we all had such a wonderful stay. An and Phuong, our hosts, were the most delightful and helpful front desk staff we have ever met. They helped organise our day trips, party boat and evening show without a single problem and it was very much appreciated by all the family. Every member of the staff were so very friendly and helpful that we couldn’t recommend them more highly enough. Thank you all for making it such a wonderful experience and memorable stay at The Linh.

A group of friends and I booked this beautiful seaside villa to celebrate a 30th Birthday. The entire stay couldn't have been better! Many thanks to the staff, specifically An and Phuong that helped us organise our trip with incredible activities and recommendations even before arriving and throughout the trip. They were able to organise trips into Old Town, dinner reservations, coconut boat rides, diving tours, road trips to Hue and so much more! Not to mention them organising cakes and flowers for us to celebrate our special birthdays! We can't wait to come back and see our new friends again!

This hotel is full of heart. Family run with every single member of staff striving to provide excellence and proud of what they do. We were greeted like royalty being the first (so very lucky) guests of the new year. We were treated to a breakfast feast to celebrate. The hotel is round the corner from a beautiful beach and also a selection of restaurants and bars. We loved our 6 nights here and left relaxed before we headed off to see more of Vietnam. The bed was so comfortable and the many extras supplied much appreciated. Breakfast is also excellent. Thank you!!

Very friendly staff who would organise anything we wanted. The rooms were a good size with excellent aircon. Small complex with a refreshing pool, right on the beach and easy walking distance to restaurants. Good range of choices for breakfast. Very kindly let us check out but stay and use the pool until it was time for our train.

The bed was very firm, which was not so comfortable for me, and there was a bit of building going on close by, so there was some noise during the day. The bathroom walls were glass, which was weird, but there was a curtain.

The family who own the hotel demonstrated Vietnamese hospitality at it's best - Phuong & An were amazing in helping us zip around in private car which they organised, helped with local recommendations and helped us understand more of Vietnamese life. The location by the beach and beach bar is fantastic and the centre of Hoi An is a 15 min drive through the padi fields. Bikes are free to use and Scooters for hire. Fast laundry service. The rooms are new and light and well furnished- the beds were the most comfortable so far (not too hard as many have been in Vietnam). We had a sea view which is now restricted by a new build and the noise from the build wasn't intrusive at all (no machinary). The rooms have full windows on entrance wall and balcony side making them very light and the entrance side can be curtained off - we didn't find this a problem and didn't feel overlooked as others have stated. A 2 minute walk takes you into the village of An Bang with lots of good value eateries, coffee shops, a bar or two and shops. We loved the beach - body and surf boards can be hired. Amazing value accommodation, relaxed and friendly and highly recommended.
