This is one of the best places we've stayed. Firstly, the family running this homestay are absolute gems. So kind, thoughtful, attentive, and most importantly, great at what they do. The room is extremely comfortable and spacious, the food (we had breakfast in the morning and lots of food on the beach) was all exceptional and for very good prices. The AC was effective, fan was nice to have, and the mosquito net over the bed was great as sometimes mosquitoes come in due to the bathroom being open to the outside (which made for glorious showers). We had a couple of setbacks (bike tire and forgotten item) and the hosts were so accommodating and prompt to resolve these issues with no hassle to us. Our daughter loved their dog Boss and we absolutely loved our stay.

Not enough time to spend here

Family run little homestay where everything is taken care of by family members. It is super close to the beach where you have free loungers and can order lunch there. The breakfast can be ordered on your balcony. We loved the big outdoor sofa, the garden and overall how nice the family was. The rooms were clean and we used the inside kitchen for some light meals. The shower is great, the bed is comfortable and there is a mosquito net. There are many excellent restaurants very near. Passion restaurant being our favorite. Do not expect Hilton but if you're looking for local experience with warm hospitality and cosy rooms surrounded by nature, this is your place.

Honestly the staff could not do enough for us. Organising trips and transport for us. Everything went smoothly. The food was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. Idyllic location literally a stones throw from the beach with sun loungers and parasols yet so convenient for Hoi an. We walked into house and for the evening lantern experience, so not very far, we could have cycled as there a bikes available but we decided to walk. I'd highly recommend if you want to experience Hoi an but also want to escape to a relaxing beach holiday too.

There really wasn't anything we were not happy with

We spent the last 2 nights of our holiday in Vietnam at Local Beach Homestay. It was the perfect ending to our trip. The Homestay is run by a lovely family, a lady and her her adult children. They made us feel so welcome and were so hospitable in every way. They even had a birthday cake for our daughter waiting for us on the second evening! The rooms and bathrooms are huge, there is a big undercover area with a day bed to lounge on and a beautiful garden with tables and chairs undercover. We enjoyed our home made breakfasts there too. The Homestay is only half a minutes walk to the beach and a short walk to restaurants, beach front bars and small supermarkets. The property is so peaceful. We only wish we had longer to stay there. Highly recommend!

The room was spacious and clean, and the garden was lovely and green, which was refreshing. The TV had Netflix which was a big bonus . It's only two minutes' walk to the beach and many great restaurants around. We loved An Bang area. And the best thing was that Huang and his parents treated us like family. Huang always responded immediately to WhatsApp messages whenever we needed anything. They took care of everything, and even invited us to lunch. They are really amazing people.

Best accommodation we have had so far in Vietnam! The owners let us check in early and went out of their way to look out for us - beach chairs, free bicycles, beach towels, lots of water booking a taxi. The accommodation was beautiful - huge spacious room, lovely balcony with a sofa bed. Great bathroom, huge and with a big walk in shower with great water pressure. Only a few mins walk to the beach and 5-10 mins walk into the main part of town and lots of restaurants and cafes. I’d absolutely stay again!

Nothing! Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

This is the absolute BEST homestay/hostel we have ever been to. After 30 countries we had seen a few. Hoàng and his mum are amazing. You feel like coming home, you get a fresh juice for welcome, they help you with everything. Breakfast was excellent. We chose Banh Mi, fruit juice and coffee. We got some fresh fruits as well. In the room we had you could find soooo much love in detail. If it was possible, we would stay a month or even longer. We loved it. Thank you again for this absolute wonderful stay! And the best: beach is a minute by foot away.

Outstanding. Truly outstanding. This was the best accommodation that we have stayed in in Vietnam and we will definitely be back. We were genuinely sorry to leave and we are trying to rearrange the end of a trip to return but we couldn’t make the flights work. The accommodation was beautiful and the family were so welcoming, accommodating and helpful during our stay. They really made it for us. The accommodation was clean and well presented. Highly recommend the breakfast, which was made fresh for us every day. Also highly recommend their beach menu which is served on the beach every day. The accommodation is a minutes walk from the beach which is truly stunning. The accommodation has beach loungers and umbrellas which you can use free of charge. The accommodation is in a good location for you to be able to visit Hoi An. There is a real ‘caribbean vibe’ about the accommodation and the surrounding area. We loved it here and really cannot recommend it highly enough.

Nothing, loved all of it.

The property was clean, spacious, modern and extremely comfortable. We felt like we were staying in a luxurious hotel! We were given a welcome drink of passion fruit juice on arrival and greeted by our host, Hiel. She was extremely friendly and helpful. She asked us if we needed her help organizing anything for our stay. Each morning we had a delicious breakfast at a reasonable price of 80K. The food cooked was absolutely delicious. It included home made juice and coffee. Afterwards we were given fresh fruit. The property if just a few steps from An Bang beach and there are sun loungers available to use at no additional cost. You can also order food and drinks to the beach. Our favorite stay in Vietnam. We even stayed a day longer because we loved it! Thank you

The place is only a few steps away from the beach, where there are lounge chairs and parasol available. You can have food delivered to the beach. The owners were extremely kind, answered any questions had quickly. The breakfast, cooked by the mom, were delicious and a good price The room was quite spacious, the bathroom huge. Everything was clean, the bed was comfy… We even stayed an extra night because we really enjoyed the place and the An bang beach Highly recommend!!

The A/c could have been a little cooler, but we were able to sleep no problem.
