I liked the hotel overall, the room was comfortable, and the breakfast was awesome with a great variety and good quality.

I had some issues during my stay. The reception staff were not approachable, even while I was standing in front of them waiting for assistance, they avoided eye contact and ignored me until much later. It felt very unwelcoming. Also, I was charged twice upon check-in. If I hadn’t noticed it myself, I would have been double charged. There was no apology or proper explanation, which was disappointing. Tip for future guests: Always double-check your bill right after payment to avoid overcharges. The hotel has potential, but customer service and billing processes need improvement.

This is our 8th visit to Dubai and finally we found the best hotel. We used to stay in Hilton when we visit Dubai but decided to quit after last trip 2 years ago due to very bad service and high price! The First Collection Dubai Waterfront is a new, beautiful and modern designed hotel. Good breakfast with tasty food. Very big and beautiful breakfast room. New, beautiful, clean and modern designed room. Comfortable beds. Outstanding customer service, excellent and friendly staffs. Thank you! Good location. Free shuttle bus to Dubai Mall. Late check-out is possible. Fast and good taxi arrangement to airport.

All facilities were available. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was very good as well. Valet service was excellent.

There is no metro station closeby. Toiletries had to be requested. Fridge wasn’t working well. Tea at the breakfast wasn’t good. There is no special tea milk neither liquid nor powder. It’s only black tea. In the rooms kettle and cups have been provided but there were no tea bags no milk. The GPS coordinates need to be improved. Also please put a picture of your hotel’s main board on booking.com

Overall- we have enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, soundproofing was amazing and cleaning was done on a daily basis. All staff is pleasant and the Front desk team was able to entertain all of our numerous questions and requests. (Special thanks to Preety for having to deal with us every other day)) The hotel is in a 35 minutes walk from Burj Khalifa if you fancy an evening walk, otherwise it is easy to get almost anywhere by bus/taxi. There are shuttle busses available that would take you to various locations in Dubai, although they are one way shuttles only-u d have to return back on your own On a flip side: -Saluna beach club was not worth the price for us...You are paying 100aed as a minimum entrance fee and getting a sunchair, an umbrella and 50aed food credit...which is sufficient for buying 2 cokes (22 aed each) or a beer (45 aed). A pizza would cost you 85aed+. The catch is - you are only allowed to use the chairs on the beach- not the ones around the pool as they are reserved for the hosting hotel use. Most of the beach chairs were full of bird feces and the beach swimming area was limited. You are getting a free shuttle bus to the beach and back as a part of a package though. -We wanted to get some ice for our drinks, and apparently hotel charges 15 aed for the ice delivery...we were not charged in the end, because we did not know about the fees, but it left a bit of sour feelings for the hotel to be charging for basic amenities.

I stayed here alone with my 1 year old son whilst waiting for family to arrive. The check in was quick and easy, breakfast and dinner were lovely, with a buffet you don’t always expect perfection but it was great for me and my little one. The staff were friendly and helpful especially Nadim who helped us store our bags and got us taxis when required and all with a smile. The location is very central, the only thing is there is nothing within walking distance but the cafe in the hotel is lovely and everything is just a small taxi away. Everything very clean. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to use the pool and gym since I was alone with my little one. We did go to Soluna beach club which the hotel has special rates for which was very enjoyable for both of us. It was ‘included’ in my room rate but somehow I still had to pay for the beach club when I got there. I didn’t mind as you can redeem most of it on food/drink but just something to be mindful of if you also book that rate. Overall a lovely stay, I would stay again and in their sister hotels also. A very good impression of the brand.

The staff were all great! Really nice, kind and helpful regardless of position - good staff and service really does make a stay much better.

There is a lot of construction work going on outside of the hotel area therefore you can hear work taking place at night depending on your room. Also, the access to the canal area was blocked off directly from the hotel because of the surrounding work taking place. The pool area was very small.

Great welcome and wonderfull breakfast! Every person on the hotel help you with everything that you need. Location is good and the pool view is to Burj Khalifa!

Rooms are big enough, breakfast was always nice, staff are really friendly, all were very helpful Sidu Nadim Moksh Mahmoud Zarak

More restaurants will be nicer, tiny gym

The hotel is very beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The location is convenient, making it easy to reach everywhere. The breakfast offers a wide variety and delicious food. Our room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels and bed linens changed daily. We arrived earlier than the check-in time, but Ms. Heba at the reception helped us and made sure we got into our room. The staff is very helpful and kind. I would like to thank Ms. Heba at the reception, as well as Mr. Zarak and Mr. Faragallah, and also Swamy, who left a memorable impression with his warm smile.

There is nothing that I didn’t like.

The location was near the center, approx. 2 kilometres walk to downtown, Dubai mall, etc. Very easy & cheap to get a Bolt/Uber from there. The hotel staff treated us like queens, very polite and attentive. They were checking in on us several times per week and encouraged us to be in touch in case there was anything we needed. The room was beautiful with two big & comfortable single beds. We had a great view of the canal from the 12th floor. Cleaning was done every day. Breakfast was amazing with several options to choose from. There was an omelette and coffee station with a barista. We also went to Soluna Beach and had transportation from the hotel. That was a great way to spend an afternoon. We also had our own pool at the roof top of the hotel. It was super easy to order drinks at their pool by using QR-code. The hotel had an ATM. Also the Wifi connection was strong. Next to the hotel was a minimarket.

The only thing we would have needed, was more sun beds at the pool. The pool was quite small and there were about 12 sunbeds for this huge hotel. All of them were often taken.
