Everything about this hotel has been beautifully done; the decor, the lovely touches like real milk in the fridge, little fans by the bed, drinks making station, toiletries and quality bathroom with robe and slippers. Everything is spotlessly clean and the bed super comfortable. There are lots of choices for breakfast, I chose delicious French toast (which was cooked to order) and freshly brewed coffee. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the seafront and the De La Warr Pavilion which was the purpose of my visit. This has been one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in and will definitely visit again if I return to Bexhill.

There was a peaceful feel to the hotel from the moment I entered the front door, the staff were very welcoming and polite. Breakfast was good, full veggie. The room was very compact and very clean and well laid out. It had contemporary décor, furnishings were modern. The complementary accessories in the room were excellent, slippers and robes if required, mini fridge with two bottles of beer and fresh milk for hot drinks, Lavazza pod machine and a collection of different teas.
The view from the window was not great, looking out to neighbouring buildings. The building adjacent to my window was close and had scaffolding on it.

We had the superior room and it was very tastefully decorated and spacious with a gorgeous bay window. It was spotless. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable and the linens were luxurious. They'd thought of everything down to supplying two sizes of pillow for your comfort. The rain shower was a delight and the tea and coffee facilities had everything from a little coffee machine to instant sachets and fresh milk. There were also two bottles of lager in the fridge. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the staff were super friendly. I would highly recommend this place.
We loved everything. Just one small suggestion would be some music in the breakfast room so it's not so silent and you don't feel you can hear every conversation happening!

I had already read the reviews of the driftwood so my expectation was already high and I was not disappointed! The details in the rooms make it feel like so much more than your average hotel room and it was absolutely spotless, not a speck of dust or dirt in sight! It was quiet and so so comfortable with so many added extras that you just don’t find in your average hotel - that’s what makes it feel so special. What can I say about the breakfast… absolutely delicious and presented beautifully! The owners are so friendly and attentive and go out of their way for you, I can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back!

Our room was on the second floor and fairly spacious, with a large, comfortable bed, hospitality tray, a fridge containing complimentary beers, fresh milk and chilled water. The shower was great, with plenty of hot water. It was quiet at night and breakfast was freshly cooked to order. Staff were friendly and helpful, assisting us with our suitcase. We were fortunate and found on-street parking directly outside the hotel.
At busier times, finding parking nearby might be an issue, also there’s no lift, but staff were very helpful and would assist with carrying luggage if needed.

From the moment we arrived at The Driftwood Greg and Lihong made us feel so welcomed. We arrived early and there was no issue in accessing our spotlessly clean room on the 2nd floor. The room was equipped with a fridge which was very handy for storing my insulin, a coffee machine, bottled water, extra towels and all the other nice things you get in high end hotels. Looking forward to returning in the future.
I have to say, I couldn't find anything negative to say about The Driftwood in Bexhill.

Perfect location for the venue we were visiting, excellent for restaurants and small shops. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was warm, comfortable and spotless with little touches like robes, iron, etc. A complimentary beer in the fridge as well as fresh milk and a coffee machine. Lots of choice at breakfast, all cooked to order and delicious.
We had a second floor room up several flights of steep stairs which was okay for one night but if you have mobility difficulties ask for a room on the first floor! Also, parking was a couple of minutes walk away.

High-street location right by the beach. Great cafes nearby, and the De La Warr pavilion could not be easier to get to (their car park is also great and convenient). The bathroom was gorgeous, the amenities were great, and the bedroom itself was comfy and clean. The nights we were there were warm so we asked if there was a fan and they quickly brought one to us. There’s also a smart TV so you can log into your Netflix or other streaming services. The bed was also a lot comfier than many hotels I’ve stayed in. Incredibly friendly and kind owners.
Only thing that could be difficult for some is the stairs, as rooms 5 and 6 require going up a few flights. Wasn’t a problem for us, but could be if you have mobility obstacles.

Quite possibly the best breakfast I've ever eaten. The lady who worked their (Might have been the owner) was so friendly and helpful from the moment I stepped in the door. I requested a late check in and she was there to meet me. The room was spotless! Beers and water in the fridge, coffee machine, tea making facilities. Iron, ironing board, hairdryer, fans where also provided. Breakfast is included in the room rate. I would absolutely stay here again and I have mentioned this to my colleagues for when they next work in the area.

Amazing! Such lovely, accommodating hosts. Room was extremely clean, great shower! The attention to detail with everything was excellent. Breakfast was very good and all my allergies were catered for.
Nothing to not like. You are given a car parking permit and there is off road parking. If you ask beforehand in relation to fruit, yoghurts etc. they are so accommodating I am sure they would happily provide this.
