Lovely peaceful location and the pods seemed brand new. The signage to the site was also very good and the lit up name in both directions very useful on the country roads at night. The kettle was a very welcome facility and the outlook was very nice. Great number of charging points and heating that worked immediately.

I think the booking could have been clearer. I pre-emoted that we needed to bring bedding but the Q&A said towels would be provided but weren’t and I assumed with a bed would come pillows. It was a springy mattress and not very comfortable but maybe I am expecting too much given the cheap price. The blind cord was missing in my room, there was no bench table outside my pod and I had a small plastic mug whereas in my husband’s pod there were substantial china ones. The toilet/washing facilities would have benefitted from being closer and the pods would have benefitted from some coat hooks as there was space. The WiFi signal did not reach the pods and the cafe was closed.

The lodge was a lot bigger than we expected. And we had no neighbours, so it was very quiet. Came away with a group of friends. The lodge was beautiful and we all thoroughly enjoyed the large lounge and hot tub. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The whole park was super clean. Good communication before and during our stay. The local pub The Denbigh was a good find with great food.

Not really something we didn’t like but definitely would be helpful to have:- A freezer or freezer compartment in the fridge. Hooks by the back door or in the bedrooms to hand up coats. There were no wardrobes so we couldn’t hang our clothes up. It would be helpful to have a small wardrobe or some hangers on hooks. A dishwasher. There’s a microwave but no spare microwave-wear I.e to heat up baked beans etc. Add a few extra glasses, so there’s spares if we change drink types.

The property itself was very nice. Spacious, clean, nice layout. We didn't use the jacuzzi but it adds a nice touch as well. The store at the reception also had nice soaps, jams and other things good for taking back.

I think the check in time can be a little earlier. Check in at 4pm and check out at 10am really restricts the time one can spend enjoying the property. Also, perhaps keep 1 or 2 extra toilet rolls so that one doesn't have to go to the reception in search of one when the given roll finishes?

We stayed in the cabin it was Clean and comfortable All pine interior it is a proper little log cabin Little welcome jar of tea coffee and milk was a nice surprise as was the little box in the kitchen with washing up liquid cloth sponge and tea towel

The cover on the hot tub was broken ( the rubber ties that fasten it to the frame had perished) the cover was very heavy to lift back on to the tub, garden area could have been tidied up a bit The cabin would benefit from a dressing table area with a mirror near a plug and a full length mirror The £150 security deposit came as bit of surprise , it is hidden in the ts & cs but needs to be made clearer than it is

We had fantastic communication with the owner who made sure they adapted our stay. The property was incredibly clean and well facilitated. We were so impressed with the accommodation and the ease of arriving that we booked again for 2 months time, where we hope to try out the hot tub this time with our family!!

Not anything we didn't like but a suggestion. The shop didn't have any family choice cereals and or maybe some baby items for those travelling families.

We loved our stay a Chestnut Meadow, we came for a relaxing quiet couple of days and we wasn’t disappointed. We have always said that hot tubs were not for us, but we have been converted 🙂. The peaceful surrounding and the open space was just what the doctor ordered. That you, we will be back, but for longer next time.

There was nothing that we didn’t like.if I have any complaint it would be that the picture of the accommodation on our booking paperwork was not what we had, we got log cabin, but in all honesty we couldn’t have been happier.

Modern, spacious, felt like home and not far from other locations with all the appliances and creature comforts. It also had First aid box. Would visit again, much better than the photos.

It seems recently put on the market, and despite having all the facilities and some extras such as hair dryer, it didn't have drainer for washed dishes and some basics such as salt. The Internet connection failed on the second day, but we didn't call manager or complain, because our mobile network signal was strong and we used our own Internet.

The house was a lot more luxurious than I thought it would be. It’s all quite new I think, very clean, and well equipped. Beds are comfortable. The area is quiet as you’re surrounded by nature, and you can watch the birds and squirrels from the living room. the little cafe and play area on the property are nice as well.

The bedroom doors are not very sound proof although the one to the living roof is. the signs to the entrance of the property are only clear when you come from one specific direction.

Relaxing , our third stay here 12 months. Hot tub is amazing, my dog loved the freedom. Nice touches like a Christmas tree on our arrival, tea, coffee, milk and washing up liquid etc. we will return in the summer. Thanks for yet another amazing getaway

Only if there was a supermarket a bit nearer but we ordered a few bits from Deliveroo so not an issue.

This was our second visit and we enjoyed it even more than last time. Lodge is spacious, comfortable and beautiful too. Absolutely love the hot tub and privacy between the lodges.

Amenities are minimal. There are no shops in walking distance (but I already knew this prior) but it’s only a short drive to get whatever you might need
