Everything was exceptionally clean, with the added attention to detail making for a very comfortable stay. Jo & family are fantastic hosts with nothing being too much trouble. Breakfast is one of the best we've had & we often found a little sweet treat on our return 'home'. We stayed when it was very hot & Jo even placed a jug of chilled lemon/mint water in the fridge for us. Property is in an idyllic location yet close to places of interest. If in that area again we would definitely stay here. You're doing a great job Jo, we wish you well in this venture. Highly recommended. Christine & Morrie

Nothing to dislike.

Where do we start?!! We loved everything about our stay at Barons Granary. The accommodation was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was nice to have our own lounge to come back to after a day exploring the area. The fridge in the lounge was very useful and Jo left us fresh milk, a bowl of fruit, some yummy biscuits and some cold drinks in the fridge as well. The breakfasts were cooked to perfection and there was a nice choice of cereals, yogurts and fruit juice to go with the cooked breakfast and toast. It was great to have breakfast served to us everyday in our lounge. There is also a kettle in the bedroom so easy to make tea and coffee when ever you want. It is in a lovely location, very peaceful and with pretty views overlooking the countryside. As we had good weather we took advantage of sitting outside in the garden. What made our stay exceptional was the care we received from Jo. Whilst we were there, our car broke down and if it wasn't for Jo and Jo's husband Ed we would have been stuck. We could not drive our car and all the local garages we tried to get to repair the car, were all fully booked for the length of our stay. Jo and Ed managed to get a local garage to do the repair for us and Jo even picked my husband up from the garage. Jo also offered to give us lifts into Rye and she even gave my husband some reading glasses when he left his glasses in a taxi!! This really is a wonderful B&B and deserves the highest recommendation.

The accommodation was simply perfect. It was beautifully furnished, clean and contained all the facilities you could possibly need for a short or long break - and more. Three miles from the historic town of Rye, it’s a well-situated base to explore the delights of Sussex.Jo was a perfect host and made sure there was nothing we needed and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was cooked to order each morning and brought into our room. We can’t praise this accommodation highly enough. It’s the prefect blend of a hotel room, holiday home and B&B, with the best of each under one roof. Fantastic value, too. A first-class stay. Thank you.

Stayed in December, cosy, warm, clean. Jo the host is a lovely lady. Looked after us very well. Superb breakfast choice. You can have a cooked breakfast. Otherwise plenty of cereal, yoghurt, juice, toast, tea or coffee. Lovely touches like fruit bowl and cookie jar topped up , little packets of sweeties. A kettle and sachets of different tea or coffee. So you can make your own drinks in the evening. A fridge is available and a jug of milk is provided. I can't wait to visit again. A lovely experience all round

Exceptional little property attached to owners house but still really private with living room bathroom and double bedroom. The owner provided little creature comforts to make our stay even more comfortable. There is a small fridge for anything you want to keep chilled. Milk was proved every day as were biscuits, tea and coffee with the kettle that is in the bedroom. A small selection of canned soft drinks were also left in the fridge each day. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of cereals, yogurts, fruit and toast asking with a cooked English breakfast. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one and anything we asked her for was not any trouble at all.

Firstly we were met by Jo our host. She was delightful and explained everything to us and checked what time we would like breakfast. There was a spacious lounge with log burner waiting to make for a cosy night in. The bedroom was light and airy with tea making facility. The bathroom was very clean and there was ample supply of towels and Faith in Nature products. The whole place was immaculately kept. It was only an eight minute drive to Rye. 10/10 from us. 😁

Beautiful, peaceful countryside location, which is very spacious and has parking immediately outside. Exceptionally clean and well maintained - in fact probably the best place we’ve ever stayed - not a mark or stain anywhere! Bedding was nice, lots of extra blankets in the cupboard if needed and a blanket in the living room if it’s not cold enough for the fire. Very comfortable sofa with lots of space to stretch out. Lovely homely decor and lovely clean bathroom! There was no limescale or mould anywhere in sight! There are 5 star hotels who could learn a thing or two from this property!! Jo was a fantastic host - very welcoming and provided us with a lovely breakfast each day. There was also fruit, chocolates and soft drinks available, along with great selection of teas and coffee and fresh milk in the room. The breakfast was of high quality and good variety available. We love coming to Rye and will definitely come back to stay again.

Joanne was an excellent host, always had a smile and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was fantastic and presented brilliantly. This accommodation was more than just a bedroom it was like a one bedroom flat. Very spacious and decor was of a very high standard and couldn't ask for more. I would certainly recommend this property and will definitely stay here again.

The Granary is beautifully appointed and every detail is done with care. We were delighted. Jo is an amazing host, always ensuring we were happy with everything. We were not expecting to have a full breakfast served each - brilliant and amazing!!! We will definitely be back, when we next visit the area. Everything was exceptional.
