The location is fantastic. Beautiful view of the sea from our 3rd floor apartment (lots of stairs however and no lift, so be aware). Great sized apartment for a family of 4 and was very grateful for the air conditioning units in the bedroom and living room as the weather was very warm when we visited. The fridge came with a small freezer compartment which was great and although we didnt use the cooker or coffee machine, we did make use of the kettle (coffee and milk sachets provided), toaster and microwave which are very handy for a quick breakfast before heading out for the day. Lots to do close by, plenty places to eat within walking distance and a tram stop right across the road. Lots of options for car parking: one in front of the hotel (cheapest option but risk being blocked in and spaces are small) along with 2 council carparks - one behind and one to the side - which are reasonably priced as far as promenade parking goes. Overall, would definitely stay here again.

Only small grumble would be the cleaning - its not filthy by any means as I've seen in other reviews, but the floors were a bit dusty, especially in the corners and the glasses and mugs provided needed cleaned before we could use them.

Staff were amazing on arrival, we were staying in a self catering apartment and they gave us all the information needed for our stay and offered to carry our cases upstairs for us. My son and I managed them up but they came through to stock the vending machine and to check that we were ok getting them up. The apartment was absolutely lovely. Perfect for what we needed and we had a lovely view as we had a Seaview apartment. It was very.clean and decorated lovely. The entrance way and the stairs and landing were always clean and tidy,as was the outside area of ApartHotel421. A lot of care is taken to make guests enjoy their stay. We had access to the hotel bar as well if we had wanted to use it,but we were so busy we didn't get chance to and got back from our antics too late to go in on the Sunday. The place operates a quiet time between 10 pm and 10 am which is actually really great as it means guests can get a decent night's sleep and be up fresh ready to enjoy their next day or to be well rested for the journey home. Right near a team stop, also right near bus stops if needed. An Iceland supermarket right round the corner which was so handy, but also near so many different chippies and other food places and also near McDonald's. We will definitely be staying again. We stayed for The Airshow and it is always a little bit more expensive over that weekend but for what we got and for how handy it was for us we feel we got a great price. Waiting for bookings to open for next year now. For some reason I didn't take pics of inside but my son did a little video that I might take screenshots from. A really spacious apartment on the ground level. Great location too. A lovely view of the sea.

The only dislikes we're that the beds we're uncomfortable . The apartment needs to be cleaned better around the edges on the floor and surfaces because of the dust and bits all aroud. The bedding needs to be and smell fresher too . We had stains and hairs on the duvet cover and pillows. The front 2 doors are very noisy and bang when people use them . The front opening doors were lovely but. OUld do with sound proofing so you don't get woken up late at night because you can hear everything outside. Otherwise it a great place to stay and we loved it. We will come again.

Friendly staff. The dude in the service hotel next door (seafront) was sound and welcoming. The bar was exceptionally well stocked. Unreal whiskey and cigar collection. Modern and very well presented. The ApartHotel location was central and close to everything. Good sea views from the room. Had everything you could need in the self-catering apartments, coffee machine, cooker, oven, and utencils. Air-conditioning was great! And room was clean! And for such a low price, I was not expecting this! Couldn't ask for anymore considering what we paid. Would definitely use it again, and 100% recommend.

the general cleaning wasn't that great sofa covers looks like they need a wash or a hoover over, skirting boards alway throu haven't been done for a while and definatly behind beds, sofa, bottom rails on door blinds haven't seen a wipe/duster in a long time beside this was nice cheap get away at last minute

Location was great and hot tub was good. TV and fridge outside at hot tub was a good touch as well as a he extra touches of supplies in fridge and loved rubber ducks for hot tub. Staff were friendly and being able to use the bar next door was nice.

Floor under sofa bed had sweeties - easily rectified with cleaning supplies that were left. Furnishings had some scrapes and wear and tear damages but overall for the price was comfortable. Hot tub had few jets not fully working and tv outside wouldn’t turn off but management said was due to heat.

We were very happy with our room here.. beautiful view as soon as you woke up,we found the staff friendly,our room was clean and had everything we needed.beds were comfortable and my daughter found the sofa bed comfortable too.The shower was perfectly good and the kitchen had everything we needed.Decent tv for cosy movies at the end of tiring days and the location we couldn't have asked for better,near all the main attractions and places to eat and just cross a road straight to the beach.Already booked another room to come back in the summer.

I really love staying at ApartHotel421! I have just come back home and am coming back to stay again in July. Great studio room, facilities, view & location :).

The only thing that let down our stay was a couple of other guests speaking / laughing loudly, with their balcony doors open, in the early hours from around 4am - 7am on the first night. Very inconsiderate for other guests! I couldn't sleep :( (not the hotel or staff's fault). Despite this, I'm really looking forward to returning soon.

So on pictures and I suppose in person it looks basic and cheap with that green metal and wood tacky bed frames and furniture, that isn't the case as weirdly they is also really expensive furniture mixed in and faculties you'd see in 5* high end apartment. Throwing the extra single beds In the rooms makes look crowded, I get targeted at possible stag/hens/families but I'd take singles out or possibly have travel ones you could store underneath double incase had 8 stay as also possible make 2 beds with sofa beds. Personally think it would be well over crowded with 8 sharing it, given rules with noise after 10pm that me and 7 drunk friends would be asked to leave by 10.10 😂 So Possible to fit 8 but wouldn't be luxurious. The garden and hottub area was stunning! Air-conditioning in every room, Japanese smart toilet a random expensive coat hanger even dehumidifier but then next to a horrible green table🤔 just found the faculties and even qaulity of mattresses/bedding is what you'd get in a £3/400+ apartment but the cheap furniture mixed in and beds everywhere baffled me. Great qaulity for money though, Ino I got ridiculously cheap at £140 being winter + mid week, I just think with better furniture and less neutral environment - minus single beds it would really stand out as a beautiful apartment to go too as couples aswell as having ability to get folding single out for bigger parties, maybe just want solid furniture given stags/hens ain't the most responsible or treat peoples property's Great? I'd definitely return though, my partner didn't want her sister in Same apartment as felt embarrassed making noise, so they got a separate room, which again seemed great value, so was only 2 of us in the apartment, the bedrooms are separated by living room/kitchen area so wouldn't be issue sharing a apartment and be extremely comfortable going as 2 couples.

Somone come to empty hottub like 9.30, possibly thought both left as partner had, did say to receptionist we would be up to move car before 9am. Wasn't overly noisy and no major issue, just thought would wait until checked out.

Superb Location. Easy acces to beach, transport and attractions. Paid car park just a couple of blocks away. Nice coffee shop, and fish and chips restaurant just downstairs and Iceland store and McDonalds just around the corner.

Most concern is the below-par Internet speed/ Wi-fi strength. Some facilities like the tap, shower, curtain, sofa bed, and air-con are a bit tricky to operate. A few more tips esp. after booking confirmation would be much appreciated. For facilities, can consider tea bags and air refresher.
