This is a lovely hotel for the price. Staff were very friendly. My daughter had a dancing competion and the lady that owns the hotel was so kind, she gave her sweets when we got to the property and when we left. She even gave my daughter a small present for how good she done at her competition

The shower was slighly annoying. You couldnt move the shower head and it was pointed at the door so you had to go into the shower, turn it on and wait for it to heat up.

The lady who runs this gem of a place is exceptionally wonderful, she is professional, courteous, friendly, nothing is too much trouble, and she gives you a warm.welcome. It was our 2nd time at the hotel, we stayed 12 months ago and the lady remembered and was so excited to see us again. She keeps it very clean and well kept, she had water and snacks there for you to help yourself to which is a nice thought. We will certainly be returning one day soon.

Nothing to dislike

Host was very friendly and greeted us at the front door with our room keys 3 hours earlier than stated check in time as rooms were ready. There was extra water, tea coffee etc. downstairs if we wanted to take extra to te room. Paid £8 extra for a parking space on the front which was much cheaper than paying for town parking. Location was superb with a 5 minute walk to the Centre. All in all great budget hotel and would definitely stay again.

The lady who greeted us was absolutely lovely, so friendly. Gave our kids sweets, chocolate and water on arrival and some snacks upon leaving they loved her. So helpful with any questions we had. We were lucky enough to be able to park at the front of the property for a small fee per day. Our room was spotless, lovely and clean and quite spacious for 4 of us. Its a lovely little hotel, close to the front and all amenities. We loved our stay and so did our girls. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel was clean, with plenty of coffee/tea in the room. The beds were comfy. The host was very welcoming and offered us bottled water and crisps/sweets for the kids on arrival. Later on in the day, she even brought colouring pencils and paper to keep the kids busy while we got ready to go out.

Would be nice if there was breakfast at the property, but I suppose this is reflected in the price.

We were greeted with lovely smile, sweeties for kids and bottled water. We were showen to our room, with clean towels, comfortable beds, storage space and hotel like finish. We had digital key to room and main entrance that gave us good comfort in safety. There was parking space at front and less than 10 min walk to main beach. Best stay ever! Can not say enough about host, she will make sure you are happy and make your stay most comfortable.

Friendly, helpful lady running this hotel. Gave us a warm greeting on arrival. The room was as expected. The hotel was quiet, and I noticed it didn't welcome stag/hen parties. Travel to Blackpool regularly for dance comps. and would book The Cumbrian Hotel again.

Ideal location for a trip to see the illuminations. Very limited parking in front of the hotel but lots of reasonably priced parking very close by (£9.50 for 24 hrs). The rooms were very clean and the family room we used had a great room off the main bedroom for our Granddaughter which she loved. The land lady could not have been more friendly or helpful. She greeted us as soon as we came through the door and spoiled our granddaughter with a selection of sweets and drinks, always great currency with kids! She even gave her treats as we checked out. I would definitely recommend this place.

Being allowed to check in earlier than expected as room was ready when we went to drop our luggage off before 3pm. Complimentary bottles of water as well as usual tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Very warm welcome be the proprietor.

There was nothing that we weren't happy with during our stay

Close to town clean cosy bed, room was small double which was OK but the shower/toilet was a bit on the small side not much room to move and I'm only small

On entering the hotel downstairs a awful smell not sure if it was cooking but wasn't great
