hotel was clean and host was welcoming and told me straight away about window etc and i assured him it wasnt a problem for me as im down here on the lash n wont be in room for long each day / night i will 100% be staying here again and breakfast menu looks great but again i wasnt up for breakfast as ate at westherdpoons with the dtag lads

wasnt a problem as i was down for a stag weekend so i was out all day n most night so didnt affect my stay just wasnt no running cold water in room and window broken but as i say wasnt a problem for myself as literally wasnt in room but i think would need sorting for a couple or family etc

I liked the accommodation.Paul is a very nice man and the cleaner is great .

I would have preferred more towels. It was a pity there was no breakfast this visit. However, I understand that the price of food & overhead costs .I think leaving a hot urn filled with hot water and some spare cutlery would be a good idea, not a criticism but a suggestion. I know there are kettles in the bedrooms. However, what if it's raining and you have to stay in or order in carryout food.I personally wouldn't want wooden or plastic cutlery. It would benefit the infirm, people with poor mobility, parents with kids ...

Welcoming from the outside, clean and tidy paintwork. Nice entrance hall, we liked the carpets. Room was clean and tidy, sparkly units, decorated room. Enough to look at without being overbearing. Woke up to the smell of breakfast which was great, although we didn't eat at the hotel other guests said it was tasty.

To be honest there wasn't anything to not like but if I had to write something I'd say that the sink in the bathroom was too low.. but that's not really a complaint, more of a personal preference. I'd stay again for sure.

Perfect location for where we needed it to be, the host went above and beyond and balloons were waiting in the room for our arrival to celebrate his birthday. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights, however we had to leave early due to childcare. In all it was a good stay and we'll mostly be back again in the future.

First impressions was absolutely fabulous, greated with a smile and very welcoming. The outside of the b&b is very tidy and the inside was absolutely fabulous smells clean and looked very clean you can tell its kept well. Downstairs you have a bar with big tv and seating fantastic low lighting to relax. Paul the owner will take the time out to speak to making you feel very welcoming will also give you some advice where to go and whats around a very respectful guy. The family room was great had a nice shower, tv fresh bedding and the room was very matained carpets. Morning breakfast was so shocked with having the breakfast for free of charge the food was really nice plenty of bread to make your self toast, fresh tea, very well presented you have cereal as well with cooked full english breakfast including resh orange juice avaliable. If your looking for a nice quiet and clean b&b this is the place to come to you have so much around and only 5 mins walk to the main center it really is a great place to come to even with a family. Thank you paul for taking the time out and making our 2 days great look forward cominf again very soon 😀

Host was very friendly. Rooms were ready and although a little on the small side it was clean with fresh towels and even fresh flowers

Nothing really. Host explained that he had no eggs at breakfast on the Saturday morning, which was fine. Little concerned as there was no breakfast service sunday morning (which didn't bother us too much) but no one was around either to explain what went wrong. Just hoped everything/one was OK

Cosy room, friendly staff, nice lounge area.

The temperature control in the shower was broken and the water was set a bit too hot but it was ok. Also we kept missing the manager for the towels but again no big deal. We had a good weekend, thank you. Could not figure out the lamp above the bed but we had a good giggle about it. Great shops nearby and a 5 minute walk into the centre

This hotel was great value for money. The room was very clean and had a good sized bed. The bar area was very modernised and quirky and the service was pleasant.

We didn’t have any toilet roll and couldn’t find anyone to help replace it, so had to go looking for some ourselves in a spare cupboard. The cocktail machine wasn’t turned on in the bar area on a Saturday night :(.
