What a wonderful experience and all made possible by the most welcoming, accommodating and hospitable host and her staff. My wife and I decided to treat our precious family (all 12 of us) to a weekend away in good old Blackpool to see the lights, go on the fair and walk the beach. We arrived around 11am and just called in to the Blue Moon to let them know we were in the area. Straightaway Santo gave us a massive warm welcome and invited us to check in to our rooms. Bob, Santo's brother was on hand too and we were shown to our rooms. Each of the four rooms were absolutely spotless. The rooms all have different themes. Yvonne and I stayed in the 'Africa' room and it was lovely. After a busy day walking the legs off our little ones we retired to bed. Each and everyone of us enjoyed a comfortable nights sleep. The beds and pillows were just perfect for us. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. A lovely choice of cereals, cakes, crumpets, toast and fruit juices followed by a hearty full cooked breakfast. The dining room was busy as the the Blue Moon appeared fully booked this weekend, but nevertheless the service was spot on!!! The cooked breakfast was delicious. There was a lovely touch for the children in our group, a well stocked sweet jar with a variety treats was there for them to dip in to. We will certainly be back, and very soon too!! Thank you so very much to Santo, Bob and the team, sorry we did not get to meet Petra. I had spoken to Petra the day before to seek advice about parking area. Petra was very helpful and her advice proved reliable. We managed to park in the 24hr car park on nearby York Street, just 2 minutes walk from the Blue Moon. It gives me great pleasure to post this glowing review, I mean each and every word!! Well done to all at the Blue Moon. We will be back. Warm love from Lee, Yvonne and all our family.

Everything was perfect

This was the best hotel experience we've had in a long time. We travelled as a family of 4 and the staff had paid great attention to the reservation details. We had a freshly made breakfast and interesting conversations in the breakfast room with staff and a fellow traveler. That's a rare and welcome experience for us. We were with a child and she loved everything about the stay! We could also get to all our planned attractions/ services by walking from the hotel (7 minutes to 35 minutes). Check in was early (12:30) and could be later (up to 12 noon) and this made a world of difference for us. The building is old (you see it on the outside) but it's extremely well taken care of and has thoughtful touches. We got really good value for money. We'd be happy to stay there again.

As stated, the hotel is in an old building but I do think that the interior and experience more than make up for it.

The property was basic but clean, bathroom was spotless and clean bedding, the host was lovely and no complaints about the breakfasts. They even helped me to get parked. Will definitely stay again

A lovely little bed and breakfast just a couple of minutes walk from the beach. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and tidy. We stayed in the family room and we had plenty of space. There is tea and coffee in the rooms with powdered milk. There is a shop 2 minutes away that sells fresh milk. Breakfast is a variety of food. Overall a lovely little B&B with very friendly staff. We are so happy we have booked in again for October.

I couldn't fault our stay. Our stay was to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday, and we were let decorate the dining room with banners and balloons. The owners even brought out cupcakes with a candle and sang Happy Birthday, which was a lovely surprise. We came by train and arrived early, which was no problem, and we had a smooth check-in. The owners were happy for us to leave our cases after check out as we were catching a late train. All in all, we had a fantastic stay. The B&B was clean and welcoming.

The hotel was very good. You got exactly what you expected for the price. Santo the owner was very friendly and helpful. There was a breakfast of cereal and toast if wanted and a hot breakfast available ir required. Everything was clean and presentable and Santo made everyone feel welcome.

Can't say there was anything. You know what you're getting for the price and Santo was very amenable so made up for any shortcomings.

Highly recommend Celebrating my Daughters Birthday, 7 of us 2 doubles a twin and a single room. All spotless with everything provided including Wi-Fi A very friendly and helpful host Petra, who cooked a lovely breakfast in the morning alongside unlimited toast and juice. The hotel is in a perfect location only a minutes’ walk from the beach and Entertainment. I am looking forward to booking this hotel on my next visit to Blackpool.

Petra, the owner, greeted me at the door. She was the most wonderful and welcoming host and made me feel very comfortable as I was travelling alone. Her B&B is basic, but cosy and inviting. The room I stayed in, at the top of the stairs, was quite basic, but had a nice Jungle theme, and it had all the facilities I could require (sink/tea/milk/tv etc). Bathroom was just down the hall but that wasn't a problem for me. Petra put the radiator on for me right away and I have to say I slept very peacefully. I was actually the only guest there, so I had the utmost peace and quiet. I didn't get chance to have breakfast as I left early, but next time I will try the breakfast. Thanks again, Petra, I love your B&B, and I will see you again soon (Dion).

Nothing negative to comment on. The B&B was in an ideal location to the pub where I was meeting friends, hence it was ideal. There were no available parking spaces on the street, however, I found one just around the corner, and I didn't have to buy a ticket.

The staff were lovely, very accomodating! On arrival they changed our room from a twin to a double giving us a choice of room. They provided a travel cot and highchair for my baby grandchild and kept asking at breakfast if there was anything she needed. Breakfast was lovely with a good variety of cereals prior to full English etc. Departure we were told to take our time, even helped by carrying the pram outside and offering to take care of luggage whilst we fetched the car.
