Breakfast was ok, you got enough to fill you, but the sausages had a weird taste and the eggs were very rubbery, cooked and kept warm to long. dinner was great the beef melted in your mouth and was hot when served the gravy was thin a bit like knats piss. The service for both meals was brilliant staff could not do enough for you, especially Keith, the waiter. That guy is an asset to that hotel, the way he runs around tending to everyone's needs nonstop the whole time he is there, I give him a 10/10
sausage, eggs, and gravy as explained above. The rooms, considering the length of time we booked our rooms, were not together. My son's room was the furthest room on the 2nd floor, to the south of the hotel, my mother's room was in the middle 1st floor, but the furthest room at the back of the hotel, my wife and i had a third floor room as far north of the hotel you could get if i went to see them i had to take three different elevators and I'm an invalid which brings me to the point there is no were to keep an invalid scooter if they built a lock up out side to keep invalid scooters in over night I'm sure they would get more clientel

The hotel was lovely, a lot of steps to bedroom, the room was lovely and clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was adequate and the staff were helpful, we didn’t see the entertainment, as no room to sit in the entertainment area, as there was a couple of bus trips.
the elderly staff on reception was very short with me, I know he was busy with the bus trip, but there is no excuse for rudeness, the young man on reception was very polite and informative. The shower and sink in our room was very small, we couldn’t bend down to wash our feet and I banged my head, you couldn’t wash properly in the sink, as it was too small and the tap was in the middle of the sink.

I stayed here with my 18yr old son and his friend. We were going to the Lytham festival, so this hotel was within a 10-minute drive, so it was conveniently placed. We had a long journey and arrived late. All the staff were super friendly and we were able to have a couple of drinks and a welcoming chat from a staff member although it was late. The room was exceptionally clean & surprisingly large and airy, the beds were comfy, breakfasts super tasty/ generous, with a very efficient buffet system. There's a pool table which we used, entertainment if you fancy it, and games for younger children. My son and friend were impressed with the solitary original fruit machine to have a flutter on. If you accept Blackpool for what it is, and dive in and have some old fashioned fun, like excellent fish & chips, huge golden beaches yummy ice creams/ doughnuts, you can't go far wrong. The general surrounding area desperately needs investment in its upkeep of local buildings and shops but has a friendly welcoming heart. We would definitely stay here again. All the staff were genuinely lovely We travelled up from a hot humid devon without sweatshirts or coats to arrive and find that we had never experienced such strong winds & gales on the seafront! So we just layered up with what we had, but you could buy pack a macs easily if you wanted. A fun relaxing hotel to unwind easily. Thank you for such a lovely stay :) x
Nothing really, apart from maybe some biscuits to have with our tea & coffees in the bedroom.:)

Had a lovely stay with family, including children. Entertainment for adults and children was great. The children particularly enjoyed their entertainment. Breakfast was good. The hotel was clean and tidy. Our room was small with a very small bathroom, but it was adequate and clean. It had a Seaview, which was lovely. Other family members had bigger rooms and bathrooms, though. Staff were all lovely and worked extremely hard. Great location with lovely views. Only down side is that there are no ramps for people using wheelchairs. All in all, it was a lovely stay and would return.. Thanks to all the team there.

We booked the largest suite and was so impressed at the size. It's obvious it's recently been refurbished and everything is clean and new. The staff were truly amazing, they couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Breakfast was served too late for us as we had to be at the Tower by 8.00am for a dance comp, so the kitchen made us some bacon sandwiches ready to go at 7.30. Because we were in Blackpool for a dance event we didn't manage to eat at the restaurant in the evening, but breakfast when we could get there was good and plentiful. I can't comment on other facilities and entertainment as we didn't make use of them. The location is great, right on the prom with team stops directly opposite. We will definitely be staying here next time we are in Blackpool.
Times for breakfast and evening meal, they just weren't suitable for us. We needed an earlier breakfast and later dinner.

Central location. ALL staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms all you need for trip away. Bed comfy etc
If used all your coffee sachets for day using room coffee making facilities wasn't possible to purchase coffee from bar until 11am. I'm a coffee guzzler so that would be better. No plug for bath as I prefer a bath and when went downstairs to request one was given wrong size. Legs too sore to go down to reception again so gave up and had shower 😭

Myself & my partner went for the tribute act weekend Friday to Sunday. This was our first time at the Craig y Don, it definitely won’t be our last. We had an absolute blast. This hotel was full of surprises - the newly renovated cabaret lounge was brilliant. We had a meatloaf act on the Friday night which was fantastic- we didn’t stay in all night for this we went out for a curry. The Saturday was a Cher tribute, she was amazing. We stayed in the hotel the entire night making sure we got a really good seat. It was like party night - I’d say the average age of the guests is 60 years old - but wow can they party! We had the best time. Breakfast is a huge buffet style - offers everything. It was lovely. The staff are great very helpful & friendly. We’re definitely going to return in the summer.
My only problem was the parking. It won’t put us off going - but we’ll do it differently next time. The hotel advertises free parking. The parking is actually on a public road on the street behind the hotel - so basically for anyone & everyone in Blackpool. We couldn’t get an available space no matter how many times we circled the area. It was a little stressful. So we ended up parking by the football ground & paying £34 for the two nights. Plus got a penalty notice for £50 because we were a tiny bit late renewing it. Great!!

Perfect location and we had a sea view which wasn’t just the sea but the lights, pretty lit up trams and horse and carriages. Right opposite the tram stops as well. Very clean throughout and the dining area downstairs bright and spacious. Friendly smiley staff. Room was very comfortable, nice hot shower and large wardrobe with chest of drawers for keeping clothes tidied away. Large lighted wall mirror with sockets close, all handy for doing your hair etc.
Although the hot breakfast buffet was beautifully set out and served good and hot, for me the bacon and sausage lacked that certain tastiness that I enjoy in a full English breakfast. However it set us up well for the day and is only a minor disappointment to an otherwise brilliant stay.

Lovley Weekend Away Here We Were Pleased Happy & Comfortable x Great Location to All Our Needs xx Will Deffo Stay Here Again in The Future
The Only Thing We Didn't Like was The Way The Person Serving Full English Breakfast From The Bay Marie in a Morning Just Chucked All The Breakfast On The Plate ... Like All Breakfast Piled On Top of Each Other.. instead of it Being Presented Nicely On The Plate .. Each Time We Got The Plate it Looked Awful .. When Serving Food Presentation is Key .. It Tasted Fine .. Other Than That it Was Great 👍

A good hotel great location nite time entertainment good. A decent breakfast but not very nice coffee taste cheap even the orange juice not very nice but can't complain really. All staff nice make you feel welcome.
A bit of a pain getting up the steps in to the hotel especially for people with mobility issues. One thing that got on our nerves was people reserving seats leaving there coats on em why they went for tea or up to their rooms reminded me very much of being abroad with sunbeds I do think there should be a sighn up telling people not to do that. We was in room 63 a nice room but mattress wasn't very comfortable it sank rite in and where not big people plus TV didn't have much signal so the main channels seemed to be missing one ov the staff came up try and sort it but cudnt he did say all tvs are getting replaced with smart tvs
