Staff very welcoming and friendly room was lovely and clean beds comfortable plenty of room to accommodate four guests lots of choices for breakfast maybe could do with some boiled eggs but that’s a minor issue overall I would highly recommend the Windsor house hotel it is also in a good central location and we will definitely be staying here again.

Didn’t like steps leading up to hotel and down to the dining room but that’s because I have breathing difficulties the other three guests didn’t have a problem with this.

The host welcomed us as soon as we arrived, and after a brief check in, handed us a box like he was handing us a gift, which indeed it was. The gift was being welcomed into his property, which he was (rightly so) very proud of.

There wasn't much to dislike.

We have just returned from an overnight stay at the Windsor Hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable. With 2 adults and an older teen, we had enough room to move about. The bathroom was quite small but was very clean. The shower cubical didn't have a black mark in sight and very clean. The shower itself was good. Our beds were very comfortable and the sheets and towels spotless. The host was lovely and welcoming when we arrived and we had no issues checking in. The continental breakfast had a great range of choice and more than enough to fill you up. The location is good. There is a car park just 5 mins up the road. We paid £17 for 48 hours as we stayed most of the second day. Was easy for us to walk back up and put out bags in thr car then carry on with the day out. This hotel is up by the tower so if going to the pleasure Beach you can get the tram down to there with the stop a 10 min walk from the hotel. We paid £120 for 3 of us on a bank holiday weekend. We really recommend this place and will stay there again if we go back.

What a wonderful hotel. All the good reviews are justified. in addition to good ratings on Booking.com, we chose this hotel mainly for its location with being only a short walk to the town centre and attractions. I was visiting Blackpool with my son and stopped in room 8. The room had everything we would expect and was clean. The bed was very comfortable. My son was also impressed with the smart TV and being able to access Netflix etc. The choices for the continental breakfast was fantastic. So much choice. The owner is very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. If I was ever back in Blackpool looking for a place to stay, I would have no hesitation in coming back to this hotel

Very clean and comfy, lovely rooms

Good location

The hotel was in very convenient place for us, round the corner from Coral Island so close to everything. From the outside it was the tidiest and nicest looking place in the street. There was a small, very tidy pleasant outside seating/smoking area down a few steps from street level with a table and chairs and a parasol. The owner was very accommodating and let us check in early and gave us our room keys so that we could leave our luggage which was a big help as one of our party was 83, lovely host, very helpful. Both double rooms were comfortable, one was quite small for a double but it was perfectly adequate for one person, and on the ground floor so great for our 83 year old mom. Very clean rooms, beds were very comfy, good mattresses, and lots of pillows supplied. Rooms nicely decorated with little extra touches like air fresheners, tissues, books, toiletries, a heater which wasn't necessary during our stay as it was very warm in the rooms due to the weather outside but would be welcome in colder weather. Very white clean towels, the bathrooms were immaculate, bathmat, toilet, shower and tiles all looked like new they were so clean, hand-wash, shower gel provided. Complimentary biscuits with the tea and coffee making facilities, Free WiFi throughout the hotel with good signal. There were quite a few other guests in the hotel but we barely heard anyone, both rooms were very quiet and peaceful. The hotel only does continental breakfast but it was the most varied, huge choice I have ever seen in a hotel or bed and breakfast, and self service, fresh fruit and fruit juices, several types of tea and coffee, fresh pastries, cheese, both white and wholemeal bread for toasting with big selection of spreads, jams and marmalade, about 10 different cereals, also never seen before, chocolate bars, jars of sweets, pot noodles and other noodles, porridge pots and cup a soups, didn't know what to have! the breakfast room was again, spotless, and nicely decorated.

There is nothing about the hotel that we didn't like.

We went as a family of four and found the host to be very friendly and welcoming. He also allowed us to check in a little earlier and made sure to inform us of any breakfast times, parking restrictions etc. The hotel and room smelt lovely and fresh as soon as you walk in, the room was spotlessly clean and an adequate size for us with 2 double beds. Breakfast was a continental style buffet which really catered to the children nicely, plenty of options. Location was perfect, just a stones throw away from coral island and the promenade. We will definitely be back soon, what a little gem of place!

Beautiful hotel just off the main roads of Blackpool so quiet. Host very pleasant, and the room was very adequate with soft, clean towels. We were on the 2nd floor, and there was no lift. They would have to be able to climb several sets of stairs. We were just a very short walk from the golden mile or the winter gardens. so it was perfect for our stay, which was to visit the Winter Gardens. The breakfast is continental, but again, there is so much on offer to suit most taste. We would stay here again.
