Shining Diamond is a comfortable place to stay away from home. The place is located 5 mins walk to town and all Blackpool attractions. The rooms are clean, well lit and the owners are very keen to details. There’s a kettle with cofees , teas and milk with cups and teaspons. Clean glass for drinks. We can see the view of Blackpool tower in our room and its beatiful at night. It has wifi facility as well. They also serve delicious breakfast and we tried their tikka dish for dinner and its delicious!! The owners are very friendly and hospitable. Great for a family stay and we highly recommend the place :) we will definetely come back :)

The wifi signal in our room is weak however we use the room to sleep and if I need to use the wifi the dining area has a very good signal. I am in 3 network and i have great signal everywhere in the property.

Location was excellent, breakfast was fab couldn’t have asked for more! Dawn went that extra mile making sure we had extra toast, more tea & coffee and letting my daughter add on a sausage for the following morning there really was nothing they wouldn’t do for you!

Saturday night around 2 in the morning we were woken up by the man in the room next door banging on his door and shouting for week over and hour trying to get into his room! Me husband asked him if he could keep it down as he has woke our daughter up and she was scared of the screaming he did apologise but 5 mins later it just carried on. Obviously we know we’re in Blackpool and people go out drinking but it’s not good when you’re up with an 8 year old being scared!

A clean, very well maintained gem of a property, in the centre of Blackpool, within easy walking distance of the beach, Tower, amusements etc. Comfy bed, friendly hosts, very tasty traditional English breakfast. Steve and Dawn clearly care about providing the best service, and were busy replacing all the perfectly fine dining room chairs with even better ones!

A different room at the Shining Tower was on offer for a lower price on the day than we had paid in advance, and I wish we had paid for the breakfast as part of a room deal, though this was certainly worth £8 per person with good produce perfectly cooked. It would be good to have a full-length mirror in the bedroom to help before going out. Blackpool was bitterly cold and rainy at the time of our visit at the end of March, and the wind carried off hats and scarves, but this was not unusual at a Northern seaside resort. The B&B was reassuringly warm and solidly built. Overall, no complaints!

Very good breakfast, our lovely hosts Steve and Dawn took a lot of trouble to ensure we were catered a meal to suit my diabetic wife. Good location just a few minutes walk from town centre and promenade. Close to main carpark, although Steve managed to find us a parking space near hotel which was handy. Comfortable bed. We were visiting friends in Blackpool and this is a good B&B as a base for a visit.

A little more space for clothes storage would have been helpful.....my wife takes a lot of clothing away with her! But it was adequate.

Rooms were spotless, Beds were comfy, Hosts were great,it was in a good spot close to lots of amenities and only a few minutes away from a secure multi storey car park which meant no worrying over your car. We booked room only as breakfast wasn't on due to it being a quiet time of year but we have heard amazing reviews on the breakfast here. We will definitely be back again next time we come to Blackpool and we will defo be trying the breakfast next time!

It was clean, felt homely and all staff were very welcoming. I liked that you got to choose the options for your breakfast, the room I chose was a small but had everything I needed within reach. Bed was very comfy as my 4 year old said and the room was lovely and warm. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating and breakfast was worth every single penny and more. Within walking distance of all places I wanted to go.

Friendly owners, very clean property and quiet for the location. Comfy bed and plenty of hot water. Tea and coffee in room, decent TV. Well lit room, with blackout curtains of you want to sleep late. Ensuite shower room. Stayed in room 6, so not on the road. I slept extremely well. Very close to a big car park (and soon a new multi story as parking in Blackpool can be an issue. Five minute walk to Blackpool Tower. Am going to book in there again

Didnt affected me but no socket near bed. Two across the room but ask if you desperately need one closer. Room would have been small for a couple but totally fine for me on my own. Like most Blackpool guest houses there were stairs. Again no issue for me but be aware if you have mobility issues.

Great hotel. We went for the small double which was exactly that, literally enough space for a bed in the room and that was it which meant it was really cosy and warm. The staff put scissors out at breakfast for the occasional sauce sachet that wouldn't open, a great idea! The breakfast was delicious and well priced.

The hotel was generally clean, especially where it matters (bed, shower etc.) but there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and the draws didn't seem particularly clean.

Amazing b and b in the heart of Blackpool. A stones throw from the multistory secure car park. Hosts could not be more welcoming. Room was clean and overall feel of the place was that it was well looked after with money being spent in the right places.

Nothing much, rooms are small but that is standard for Blackpool and we have certainly stayed in smaller when visiting.

Great hosts- so friendly and could not do enough for us! Dawn even offered to cook my toddler some tea x breakfast was amazing and nice and relaxing - setting us up for the day. The hotel is in a lovely location close to coral island, the pier and the tower! We visited Peter rabbit and gruffalo whilst we were there. On the day we left we went to Blackpool zoo before travelling home. We plan to go back and see the lights later on this year! :-)

Room was on the top floor so will book for a lower floor next time but we booked late so appreciated the Shining Diamond fitting us in.
