Hosts were so welcoming , helpful and friendly. Stayed in room 7. Double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, 1 chair, 1 bedside table, and 8 + plug sockets, hairdryer, tower fan, toiletries and towels. The fan in the room was an excellent touch! Room size was excellent for Blackpool, ensuite too - even water pressure was great. Having an accessible extractor switch meant we could turn it off on a night to avoid disturbing others. The window cut out an impressive amount of noise considering the location! Breakfast was not only decent quality and well made by Graeme, but Gina remembered guests preferences too, impressive!
Our mattress wasn't brilliant, and felt small, but that might just be my preference as I like a very firm king size! (A second chair in the room could remove the mattress being used as a seat as well as slept on?) I'm honestly most annoyed that we've found this hotel on what might have been our last Rebellion for a few years as our dog is getting older. I hope they're still there when we decide to come back!

My short stay at Bayswater House was truly excellent. Upon arrival I was greeted by Chris who informed me that I had been booked into two separate rooms for my two night stay by 'You Know Who'. Oh no I thought what does this mean? She then pleasantly surprised me by saying that she had solved this by upgrading me from a single room to a much larger room with a double bed. The room itself was clean, nice and bright with storage facilities for one's clothes. I was especially taken with the televisual apparatus which meant I could recline upon one's bed and watch the screen in comfort. Now the 'piece de resistance'- the shower! Excellent pressure and temperature settings allowing a full wake up experience. Although my room was at the top of the building this meant only descending one flight of stairs to enter the dining room for breakfast. Breakfast was served 8.30pm until 9.30pm which allowed one a modest lie in after a night's perambulations. Well what can one say about the range of delights on offer. Declining tea or coffee- I abstain from both- I elected to start with fresh orange then move onto a breakfast cereal. Here I was spoilt for choice! Then after finishing my cereals my cooked breakfast arrived. I felt in no way that I was being hurried to eat up to fit into a certain time period and so enjoyed a leisurely repast. This allowed me time to observe my fellow guests who over the two day period ranged from senior couples to a younger couple with a child. This truly is a family establishment! With an excellent central location- everything within walking distance I heartily recommend that you stay here if you get the opportunity. As I sat on the train ready to travel back I overheard a tale of woe from a couple who sat opposite me at a same table who had stayed at an establishment that had given them a somewhat negative experience. I smiled at them, leaned over and said, 'let me tell you about my experience at Bayswater...
Perhaps some more signage out front to indicate your location. I walked past twice before I remembered the photograph I had seen.

I Liked every aspect about the boarding house it was also very clean. It was good value for money and my breakfast was served as soon as I arrived at the dining room. All in all a very nice stay.
It is a pity that the Local Council at Blackpool do not have the same pride as this boarding house owner. The surrounding area is extremely scruffy which is a shame. Blackpool is a very nice place for a holiday, the local residents deserve better.4

The location in terms of proximity to all main venues such as the Blackpool Tower etc was perfect for our needs, as we didn't need the car the entire time of our stay. The room was spacious, basic but overall in good condition. However, I did notice that the bottom of the duvet cover was missing buttons and was held together with safety pins - having found 2 open safety pins left on our bed!!! The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. Our room was right at the top of the house and was extremely hot during our stay. We asked if there were any fans that could be provided and without hesitation we had one outside our room which made our sleep much more comfortable. The bed was comfortable. The shower, small, but nice and hot. There were even little bottles of shampoo, shower gel etc that could be used aswell as coffee, tea and biscuits provided in the room. The breakfast was cooked to your choice of what you wanted and how you wanted it. Very good overall for our 3 nights stay in Blackpool.
As mentioned a fan could be a permanent thing in the room as it was very hot and stuffy. There is no immediate parking in the street unless you are extremely lucky to find a space, meaning the car had to be moved quite a way a way to a car park. However, we didn't need the car the whole time as everything was within walking distance.

The room was a very good size, very clean and fresh. The bed was comfortable, the washroom was a good size, good quality toiletries and the tea tray was excellent, even provided bottled water. Good location. The breakfast was lovely, and the hosts were welcoming. A very nice one night stay.
We would probably try to book a room on the first floor next time for a longer stay, we booked at the last minute for one night only, apart from that there was nothing not to like.

Central location to the town centre and the shops about a 10 minutes walk,The room was spacious plenty of space and good sized bathroom,Also a big tv I think a 32" it was compared to tiny tvs had in other hotels tiny square ones,Easy to find,It can be a bit noisy with being on a main road and near the town centre and people coming back from bars,The room was clean,The bed mattress and the pillow was a bit hard for me,I like the mattresses and pillows where your head and body sinks into them,Maybe swap a pillow for a softer one,Various shops near bar and chippys for use.
Not that I didn't like anything! just some helpful suggestions A few more towels just 2 in room for a 2nite stay 3 days,I suggest 2 for each day,and some more clothes hangers to hang my clothes up,Like 1 for t shirt / 1 for top / 1 for jeans,And iron and ironing board in the room or outside on the landing to share with other rooms,Just a few helpful suggestions to the room.

I would book again. A lovely guest house. The hosts were friendly and efficient. The building was well cared for, and rooms were very clean. I brought a tiny issue to their attention and it was resolved immediately, always the sign of good management. Breakfast is freshly cooked and very tasty. Very close to attractions. I appreciated the security camera at front door, and locked main door. I would recommend this guest house.

The homely feel from the minute you arrive. Gina and graham both meet us at the door With geniune smiles after i rang to see could we book in slightly earier (which wasnt a problem), helped carry our bags too. We arrived in our room and the kids took off to their beds. Room was airy bright and spotless. Everything you need is in the room (except a hairdryer so bring one). Power Shower is fantastic with hot water. We were here from ireland for a dance comp and leaving at 5am most mornings. Cereal was giving to myself and my daughter the night before so we wouldnt miss breakfast. Food you get a menu to choice what cooked food you would like. Its fab. We stayed 5 nights Everything is in walking distance. The beach is literally 2 mins walk. You will not be disappointed with ur stay here. We will def be back
It rained on our last day 🤣
