Nice place is good grounds. Easy check in. Good breakfast. Very good bath room with large, level entry shower. Place was to a much higher standard than you would normally expect from a Best Western. Great value.

Room was a little on the warm side but this was due to the heatwave not the room itself. A fan in there would have been a welcome addition. Breakfast, Artificial spread on offer - had to ask for butter but staff happily brought me some. Parking- lots of good secure parking but I parked under a tree and the car was bombed by the birds, cant really say this was the hotels fault though.

The fact all the staff were friendly and welcoming and immediately set about making your experience a good and really positive one. The bedroom was a great size and really comfy, an absolutely huge and comfy bed. Tbe food was excellent for breakfast or for evening meal. We really enjoyed our time and had a great great experience. The parking has plenty of space around the hotel. The homemade cookies, Birthday greetings, Smiles, laughter and truly fantastic staff, this is a 20/10 place to stay.

????.... nothing I disliked, absolutely lovely. Our 5th stay anywhere this year and it's the best. I have bad news for the hotel, we will be back and soon.

The room was comfortable if a little hot at night. It was a bit of a maze to reach the room I was in but once done once there were only a few errors on other occasions. The breakfast on Saturday was good, but a bit more limited on the Sunday eg. no fruit.

The check-in and check out was beyond my capabilities. Checking in you had to fill in reference nos. etc. but when it got to the complete section it never recognized me. My brother who was also staying in another room knew to find someone in the Bar. Checking out was even worse - I may still be there but had to take my taxi to the Station! I did leave my keycard

I liked the location, it was perfect for travelling with work. The staff were friendly, when you could find them. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Dinner and breakfast was good. The chef seemed very happy. Could hear him singing from the kitchen.

I didn't like the check in pods. They didn't work for me at check in or check out. I had to then walk around to the bar to find a member of staff to help then wait for them to become available. My key didn't work first time so that took a while. My room was 26 so I could hear everything out on that gravel from people to the bin lorry at 6am and the busy road.

Fairly easy to locate, arrived on motorcycle 🏍, parked around back. Pleasant reception staff and staff throughout my stay. When I found out my room, I moved my bike to just outside. Had a pint in the garden before going out. Bedroom was large with a big double bed 🛌, bathroom facilities were great , enjoyed the powerful shower 🚿. Quiet through the night 🌙. Went for a buffet breakfast, again, served by two pleasant guys. Check out was easy. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

I booked a double room for myself, but swapped on the day with a friend who had booked a single room which involved too many stairs for her. Ther is no lift, so maybe guests should be advised when booking some of the rooms. The breakkfast was better than I have had is places charging a similar price. The staff members I met were helpful and courteous, and the garden was large and pleasant.

The recdeption was not manned, and even after check in time the hotel theoretically tried to use a computerised self-check in.. it was not working , and the man who dealt with booking peole in was friendly and helpful. I stayed 2 nights including a Saturday in August, and discovered that there was a very loud event in the hotel until late. I would probably have booked elsewhere had I been warned.

Lovely grounds with plenty of parking. Attractive buildings. Our room was like a mini cottage outside the main hotel. Handy for Bury and also for functions at Hengrave just outside the town. Were told by daughter it was one of the more reasonably priced options in Bury.

Would have preferred some cheese or cold meat at breakfast as part of continental breakfast. Our much cheaper Days Inn the previous night had provided this If you went a bit later the danish pastries had gone and weren't replaced, certainly on one day. Breakfast ended rather early for leisure guests at 9.30

Comfortable room in a quiet part of the old hotel. Breakfast very pleasantly served in an airy room overlooking well kept gardens. Staff pleasant and helpful. Stunning location built on the site of Babwell Friary and evidence of the medieval buildings are found in the garden and car park.

There are long pipe runs in the old house and its extensions so you have to be prepared to wait for several minutes before the shower turns warm

Comfortable room, responsive central heating, brilliant shower, excellent breakfast (but see below)

Windows of our room needed a lick of paint, some features very dated, eg taps and window handles. No artisanal or interesting breads at breakfast, only a very standard wholemeal tin. Coffee from the machine was not very nice. Signage at entrances to hotel inadequate (invisible to motorists coming along Mildenhall Road rowards the traffic lights).

From check inn to check out we had a great stay. We were very honoured to receive the VIP package and thought this was an excellent idea and made us feel very special. All the little extra touches were very well received. The breakfast was plentiful and off great quality. Thank you.

Nothing to complain about but, some feed back, we were in room 25, the single glazing was not effective in keeping out evening traffic.
