Where do I start with this one? The staff was great, Skylar helped me with the room issue I had and went above and beyond to find me the perfect one and Lauren made me feel like I was at home with the fantastic conversation we had. I can't stop here, Katie and Natasha were amazing too, Natasha is very helpful when I ask for apples and Katie is such a doll to talk to. it's one of those places you want to stay more because of how amazing the staff is. The rest of it? The rooms are great, the location is close to everything you mostly need, and the public transportation is a walking distance away.

Besides not receiving a goodbye Hug and not having an elevator everything else was exquisite

An enjoyable one night stay. Arrived Saturday morning and parked at the rear of the building. I pre-paid the parking charge using the Just Park app. (£8.50 for the duration of my stay). I had breakfast upon my arrival which I paid for. Excellent choices, full English, continental, cereal, fruit, toast and an assortment of hot drinks. Something for everyone, it is replenished regulary and the cooked breakfast was very tasty. When i returned later in the day to check in there was only one member of staff behind the reception desk and they also had to manage the bar. I didn't have to wait long before I was checked in. My room was clean and comfortable and I slept well. The next morning I had breakfast again, this was included in my booking, again it was very nice. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the location of the hotel was excellent for me and I would certainly recommend the establishment to anyone. Thank you.

First of all the receptionist we met on the day of checking in and checking out as well (Same person) was soo lovely, cheerful entertaining, and sweet bless her…….Talking about the room we were given we had a very comfortable bed, was neatly made when we arrived, the security in this hotel is top notch, what made it more fantastic was that the dress I planned on wearing for my graduation needed ironing, I was sick and worried about how to go about it, only to arrive and met an expensively looking iron in the room I was soo happy, they also had a spare fan just incase you feel very warm, the heater was working fine, it was just 2nights but I must confess am super impressed the entire team are doing a great job. I recommend Stuat Hotel in Derby.

Sorry to say this but am not really sure there is anything I didn't like about this property they are 100/100 .

Very comfortable room, convenient location, friendly and professional staff. The private bathroom was spotless. This was a very last-minute booking, and I got a great room for a very good price.

Although the room was nice, with plenty of facilities, there were some cleaning oversights. The bathroom was spotless but certain areas in the bedroom were very dusty. The wall fittings for the bedside lamps, the top of the head board and the kettle were all covered in a layer of dust.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good facilities. Near the centre, station etc. Stayed during the Greatest Gathering and impressed with the staff’s ability to cope with most guests turning up for breakfast at the same time to catch the event’s opening time. The buffet stayed well stocked. Good range of choices for an evening meal.

Bedroom carpet and desk were a bit worn for price but room was clean. Also slightly too many pre-stay emails for my taste but only a minor irritation.

Location was great to stay at, everything was very easy to get to, city centre short walk only.

Shame there were no lifts, also we found the hallway and staircase wasn't vacuumed which made us think how clean the rooms were kept too. We also did find other people's rubbish was under the beds too, only because we were looking to see if we had left anything behind and in case anything had slipped under the bed. The beds should be moved every so often to give the rooms a good clean out.

The staff! So incredibly welcoming. Always smiling. People that seem to genuinely love their job and enjoy being there. From the check in staff, to the excellent morning breakfast staff who couldn’t do more for you, to the cleaners, always smiling and getting about their jobs. I took advantage of the breakfast to go and lunch option and was amazing. Well worth the money and great as I was in a rush in the mornings. Well done Team!

The car park 🙈 it’s pretty busy and parking when late is sometimes difficult.

I did not have breakfast, however my friend did and she throughly enjoyed every second of it.

My two complain are: a) the fire alarm went off twice and there were no member of staff with information for instance we spent a long time outside waiting for instructions when it was clear to entered back into the building. That did not happened. b) the only channels I could get were BBC1/2 ITV and Channel 4 not one of the free view channel was working.

Location was great and the hotel looked very nice from the inside.

Isn't much but just how the shampoo bottles are. If u wanted to take a bath where the shampoo is located in the bathroom. You have to get out of the bath just to use the shampoo. When we arrived in the room. All the windows were open (rm123), making it feel like a cold visit. There was a very strong smell of what seemed to be of a mustard smell coming from the corridors.

Having read the negative reviews i do wonder what people expect. The Hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. Check in was quick and easy. I paid a deposit which was returned on check out. The room I had was spacious and very clean if I want to be picky could do with a freshen up. The bed was mega comfortable, the shower room was very clean although shower lacked full pressure. Tea and coffee in room and good size tv. Lauren who was on that evening really went out of her was to assist a credit to her for the staff there. Parking on site which is good for city centre. Will defiantly book again.
