The family room was spacious enough to allow space for 4 to change without squeezing past each other! Hot drink machine at breakfast has extensive options, latte macchiato, mocha, hot chocolate, cappuccino - better than most machines we have come across

On check in we were told the breakfast opens at 6:30 & it was explained 7:30am onwards will be very busy. I confirmed back that the laminated sheet of timings of breakfast was for the morning, they confirmed it was. However it was not, Sunday breakfast does not start until 7am. We were only there for a stop over to break up the journey so timings were imperative. Breakfast - Bacon extremely overcooked, hash browns under cooked.

Breakfast was good, good choice of hot and continental style. Table staff were very efficient at clearing and cleaning. Was only in the room for a short time due to lateness of arrival. But very comfortable, quiet and slept well. Facilities were all satisfactory too

Bearing in mind I was late booking, I was driving a long way home and decided I needed to sleep rather than continue just before midnight. I totally and utterly ,issued about the charge for parking. Wouldn’t it make sense when booking to say do you have a car, £6 charge and charge there and then at the same time as booking.

Great location. There was a waitress who was totally amazing (didn't catch her name, young, tight curly black hair and she's dairy free) who was so helpful with my own dietary requirements and had amazing customer service in general. She appeared to be rushing around like made, while the other staff would get to everything "drectly" without a smile.

Paying for the carpark is not the easiest of procedures, or explained the best (don't expect help from the reception staff) women in front of us really struggled, with next to little no care from staff. Didn't like the giant daddy long legs in the room 😬

Cleanliness was exceptional. First hotel I’ve been to in years where toilet and bathroom in general looked like they had been cleaned by someone experienced and diligent. Even under toilet rim. All surfaces in room were clean, no sign of missed stains, dirt, marks. Even window sills clean and mould free! Sheets pristine. Bed very comfortable.

Only usb wall-plug didn’t work; had to plug into tv, so didn’t charge when tv off. No conditioner, but handwash and shampoo. Asked at desk, not offered. Would’ve brought my own, but advertised as toiletries supplied; so no shower for me or my daughter! Person at desk unnecessarily patronising, saying “sorry my love” when telling me this. No herbal tea in room, only 2 cups, although 3 of us. Sat on toilet, only to discover there was no paper. Stood up and noticed the extra one by the back of the toilet; but nothing on the dispenser next to where seated. Cleaners clogging hallways from 9am (or earlier), and trolleys hadn’t moved by 10:30. They were busy cleaning, but trolleys could’ve been 10 feet down out of the already narrow hallway.

The rooms are comfortable and clean with everything you need for a short stay. All the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. There is plenty of choice for breakfast and staff are there to help and to ensure table are cleared and cleaned quickly. It is a convenient location to explore Exeter, Devon and is ideally situated for a stay before catching a flight from Exeter airport.

Having to pay for parking when your staying at the hotel is unacceptable although I fully understand it is run by another company. The choice, standard of the food available in the evening was, in my opinion, poor considering the prices.

Overall it was far better than we expected for the price. Upsides were the pleasant, helpful, not overly formal staff; the view over the trees and pond from our room; the shampoo & bodywash provided were surprisingly nice to my skin / hair & being able to ask for the loan of a face cloth meant I didn't have to pack a wet one when I left, which was appreciated. Breakfast overall was lots better than we expected & I wished I'd found the pancake machine earlier as it was surprisingly good & rather fun.

Downsides were the lack of plugs near the beds for charging phones, etc; 'fruit juice' at breakfast that was actually squash or similar. More understandably, there no real coffee at the buffet nor decaf tea (or fruit tea) in the room; and scrambled eggs as the only egg option for breakfast.

Professional, friendly and accommodating staff. Exactly as a hotel should be. Breakfast included in price is of a high standard, nicely prepared with a good selection of options. Overall a nicely presented and run hotel.

Dinner menu is boring and relatively expensive for what it is. Lasagne, pizza, burgers…. 🥱(+ a few more).Although there are restaurants near by. And the breakfast selection is very good. Ground floor rooms have limited privacy from the car park, better choice of greenery and screening could make these rooms feel more appealing and quieter.

Th room was clean and comfortable, well equipped and a good size. Breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of food, and all efficiently and quietly managed. I varied the times I went to breakfast and avoided the great rushes you get sometimes in this type,of hotel, with such a wide range of customer, families etc. Check in was fast and friendly, and arrangements were carefully explained. Staff were universally excellent, and the small maintenance issue I had was resolved very quickly to my complete satisfaction.

It may have been my mistake but I was expecting the hotel to be closer to what I regard as the centre of Exeter (the cathedral). It was a little way out which forced a slight change in my plans. I think that I misread the blurb onlines. The location is actually very good for the Business Park, is quiet and thoughtfully designed, even if a little short of green spaces.

A great location for our stop-over; quite; clean and tidy; breakfast was great with a good range of food and drinks available.

Paying for parking; waiting to be served on arrival (staff assumed we were with another guest and left us waiting); Not many channels on the TV in reception meaning we had to go out of the hotel to watch sports events; mattress and pillows on main bed weren't great; the sofa bed had a thin mattress meaning our son could feel the frame underneath him; bathroom had a double-door which isn't suitable when getting up in the night; bathroom door didn't shut properly unless locked; with the sofa bed out the desk area was unusable, limiting space.

Friendly staff, good size room to accommodate two adults and two kids, generally comfortable and for a good price! Good breakfast with a lot of choice.

Not particularly keen on the fact that we had to pay for parking, especially as it's far out from the busy parts of the city and there isn't much of an alternative to park elsewhere (although we did know this was gonna be the case before going). Then in terms of comfort in the room: there were 2 sets of pillows in our room (2 harder and 2 soft), but given that we were 4 in the room, they were all in use. Turns out the harder pillows were far too hard for us, so even though the bed was comfortable, we didn't have a great night sleep because of that. Next time we'll definitely ask the reception for another set of soft ones! :)
