A fantastic find! We received a very warm welcome from Stuart and Janey at their lovely farmhouse property just a few feet from the shore. The whole place was spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable and spacious. The room itself was enormous, with great views over Ails Craig, Arran and Turnberry Bay - just the thing to wake up to on an Ayrshire spring morning! Breakfast (choose from an extensive list the night before) was served in the room, and was exceptionally good!
Nothing, except perhaps leaving.

Janie was a great host. The room was huge as was the bathroom. Eating breakfast in the room was a treat! As you enjoyed your breakfast you had a beautiful view of the sea and the island off shore. The location was just what we wanted… close to restaurants and attractions. We would definitely recommend and we would book again!
No complaints at all about the property. The house sits close to the road, as most houses do and there were alot of trucks. However, this did not in anyway take away the charm of the property.

This is a beautifully appointed B & B...luxurious, large, comfortable bedroom & bathroom. With beautiful sea views from its bay window. A lovely welcome when I arrived. The room had everything I needed. Breakfast, which is pre-ordered, was served in the bedroom & was delicious. It was super easy to find, just off the main road, with private parking right outside the house. It's only 35 mins from Cairnryan Port so great if you are on a ferry next day.

Warm welcome from Janey and Helen, beautiful very large room with great en-suite. Very comfortable king size bed. Beautiful bed linen, hot shower and large bathroom with twin hand basins. Fresh white fluffy towels. It was so quiet and with blackout curtains for that perfect sleep. A really lovely freshly prepared breakfast of bacon and scrambled egg, fresh toast and jams and fresh fruit and croissant with filter coffee and tea. Breakfast was brought to our room to eat at a window table with views out to the sea over to the Isle of Arran and Ailsa Craig. We stayed here as a stopover en route back from visiting family further North of Scotland. Perfect! Thank you Janey.
We loved everything !

Room was massive, plenty of space and plenty of storage space. Small dining table and chairs at bay window with a sea view in direction. Bathroom was big with 2 sinks and a big shower with handheld shower head and waterfall head, good pressure. Only guests at property so no other people to attend to. Breakfast had good options and was really tasty
Nothing i didn’t like. But would suggest a google maps top down showing the road in and out, i did find it a wee bit hard to find the road in. Booking.com shows the place as in the middle of a field which was confusing.

It was an immaculately good size room which was very clean and comfortable. The host was very welcoming and there was a lovely touch of having breakfast in the room. The best feature of the property is the panoramic view from the bedroom of the sea and the western isles. Truly a wonderful experience to wake up to such a view.

From start to finish this was an exceptional stay. A warm welcoming host, beautiful clean and spacious room and honestly the best breakfast served to your room. The views from the table in the room are beautiful, it’s such a lovely place to enjoy breakfast in the morning. We are just about the check out and are already speaking about when we will be visiting again. I would highly highly recommend burnside farm b&b to anyone looking for a lovely nights stay. wonderful!

We only spent a night at the Burnside en route to Glasgow, which was a shame, since it was a lovely place. The hostess was super-friendly and very concerned with helping us get to Glasgow Airport without problems! We had a comfortable and very spacious room with a great view to the water. Nice to have breakfast brought to the room.

Absolutely everything The room was beautifully decorated Stunning sea views even on a stormy day Large spacious bathroom Plenty of wardrobe space Everything we needed Breakfast served in our room which was a lovely touch Our host was very welcoming
The fact that we only stayed one night Perhaps more choices for how we like our eggs might be good like fried, poached or boiled. But thats just a personal preference.

Stayed only a night and the stay was perfect, the view amazing and the bed so comfy! Clean, tidy and relaxing, definitely would book again if we were in the area. Although the house is near the street, it's very quiet and relaxing in the room. During the day the big window let so much light into the room meanwhile in the evening the thick curtains ensured privacy and darkness. The owner was lovely and provided us with some information around the area on what we can do when we arrived. She also prepared a delicious breakfast of our choice spot on our preferred time. It was a prefect stay! Thank you!
