The staff were really welcoming, friendly and helpfull throughout my stay. The housekeeping was to a really high standard throughout. My room was large and well serviced with good heating you can control.Bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have had in hotels. The scrambled agg I had was the best I have had in a hotel and a great price. It was really easy to come and go as you needed especially leaving early in the morning. No problem parking. Great area close to the station perfect for the football. I will stay again.

The ONLY thing I didn't like was the noise from the music in the bar when it was after 11 and still going. It was worse on the Sat than the Sunday.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and both the room and bathroom were luxuriously large. Despite the rooms being above the pub, it was quiet at night and the beds were very comfortable. Although it was quite warm when we visited, there was a fan in the room and the window opened to let in fresh air, so it wasn't too uncomfortable. It very much felt more like a home away from home than a hotel or pub. It is centrally located in Glossop and just a few steps from shopping and a variety of eateries. The staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant.

The parking is limited if you arrive via car, as their lot is quite small. However, we only had to find alternative parking for a couple of hours when we first arrived. The other 3 days there was space.

Very clean rooms ..I had an idea of what we would get ..To be fair I was expecting "fairly good to good" but it exceeded my expectations.Rooms were very nice (modern decor,clean and well appointed ) Overall for the price being charged which was excellent value for money I'd say it was a Very good stay... I have given it a 10 for sure there are better hotels in the world but I'm giving it this score in terms of expectations against what I would expect from a hotel at the price it charges .

Bit noisy out the front but it's in the middle of a town so it will be .

It was clean and well maintained, the staff were brilliant, especially Tracey, who checked me in even though she wasn’t on shift and was just helping out as it was busy! The room was comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay, the bed gave me the best nights sleep I’ve had for ages. The hotel is a pub and the bar area was friendly and welcoming, the restaurant had a great selection of food and drinks and the service was excellent. Food is top notch and reasonably priced. There’s a free car park outside the hotel but is probably limited as it’s small, other than that a great place to stay and highly recommend if you plan on staying in Glossop.

Right next to Glossop Station and in the middle of the town. Very friendly staff. A busy pub, so the bar area will be noisy but the sounds up to the rooms above were well muted. Room a little small but was comfortable and had all amenities.

They have about 8 parking spaces in the front courtyard and we were lucky to get a slot each time we came back to the hotel (2 day stay), otherwise it's street parking. On a busy road junction, and the town is gateway to Woodhead and Snake Passes so very noisy motorbikes are held at the lights all day and early evening at weekends. Can get annoying if you are trying to concentrate or rest. No problem at night - surprisingly quiet. Breakfast at the weekend is from 9am, but there's a Weatherspoons a short distance away doing breakfast from 7am.

This hotel has a pub and reasonably good restaurant downstairs, but the rooms upstairs were surprisingly quiet, even when there was a quiz night getting going in the bar. Rooms are tastefully renovated and comfortable, with double-glazing and proper baths, and staff were consistently friendly and helpful. There were three of us in two rooms, and we found it a great place to stop and relax at the end of a month-long road trip around the UK, before heading to Manchester airport the next day. Centrally located, and handy (free) parking on the forecourt.

The room was very clean and probably the biggest bed we've had. A good touch was the 3 seat sofa in the room. We had a bath with a very powerful shower over, run off the main water and not a electric one. Curtains and blinds stopped the light coming in. Great evening food didn't need to eat outside of here.

Bath towels not designed for us more cuddly people. More space for clothes. Not the bet soundproofing in the world.

The location is right in the centre. Great place to stay clean. MORE than friendly staff.from carol who gave us a warm welcome. The cleaning staff took time to chat to us and told us afew places to go..The bar and waitress all were friendly and professional. Great team.we stayed in bedroom 2.which was on the main road but the traffic didn't bother us.just redecorated new beds.great she bath room and over head shower plenty of hot water.Thwy proved shower gel shampoo.hair dryer. Iron and ironing board. Coffee and tea .breakfast is extre and not till 10am but you can order a breakfast to your room before 10am but I think it's a continental.??.

There is only one thing I didn't like .They don't have a gulton free meals menu .but you have to look through the list of allergies list .would be nice to have a menu for that.But the staff again helped out and went to the kitchen and checked and double-checked for us.so there are a few things you can have.

Room was lovely, very clean, decor lovely staff members very welcome and friendly, breakfast fantastic one of the best cooked breakfasts I've ever had very hot and plenty Breakfast at the weekend was available until 12 midday of which was great ,location really good, , parking outside okay and free, General decor in the pub downstairs was really lovely if anyone is wanting to stay in Glossop then this is the place to stay

The wardrobe sadly only had 2 coat hangers, could of done with a few more, Television only had a limited amount of channels to watch Music from the pub downstairs could faintly be heard until midnight, however what we did hear we enjoyed listening too Check out time was 10.00 am, however for an extra £15, you could extend that to midday (of which we did) but I do feel that check outs should be to at least 11.00 and no extra fees to pay....but overall a lovely stay

Our 2nd time at the Norfolk Arms, lovely family room, ideal for 2, coffee and tea etc. only downside was no shower caps or separate toiletries, just soap attached to the wall! Other than that, comfy beds. Will stay again.

Having to pay £15 for a later check out. Sunday morning have to vacate room by 10! We left at 10.30 and cost us £15 for the privilege. A later checkout on a Sunday would be really appreciated and FOC.
