Great service, lets face it not everything always go to plan, its how problems are dealt with that counts. The staff were excellent

if you stay in room 249 unfortunately its next to the external door....... (where the smokers go) so the smoke finds its way into the room.

The facilities were good, the staff friendly and welcoming and the location perfect for a quick get-away. We arrived late and parted early as we had an early morning event in Liverpool. This was all managed well.

1 The hotel management sent a total of 43 messages, mostly advertising facilities which I had no interest in: "a summer treat awaits"; "last minute escapes with cream tea"; "father's day treat" etc etc. This was all quite annoying and, although I tried to stop the messages coming, I was not successful. I would strongly recommend that the hotel reviews its communications policy as bombarding customers with special offers does not work for everyone if for anyone at all. 2 The bar closes early. 3 Given 2 above not sure why the hotel retains a £50 deposit for several days (still not refunded).

Plenty of Parking, quick and easy check in, staff really friendly and helpful, it’s clean and you can see they are spending money on the place keeping it mostly updated, room was a good size, bed and mattress very comfortable, great to have a door to go outside

You could clearly hear peoples conversations in the corridor outside our room. We were in room 230, the shower was terrible, worse than an electric one, it was that bad I ended up only washing in the sink in the morning, it would have been a 9.5/10. Last thing, the bed was a double, could have easily of fitted a SuperKing size, this and the door noise would have made the other .5 to make it a 10

Reception staff exceptional , lawns restaurant staff and food exceptional credit to waiters and chefs , morning breakfast staff exceptional credit to morning staff and chefs , room beautiful . Our stay was exceptional throughout however , could have been better with an information booklet, in regards to details on stays especially packages for example, I had a breakfast and dinner package with an executive garden view room , and food allowances each evening , if I had not asked I would not have known all details around the allowances and that they renewed each evening, but given that: the that staff where helpful couldn’t have done more , very good value will be returning .Would have liked a map with details on where all areas where , like how to get to the restaurants , hair spa etc it’s a very big place and I’m one to get lost and don’t want to bother the staff if I can help it .

Everything was great!!! From the scenery outside the room, into the gardens, the rooms, the waterproof tv in the bathroom was a great surprise. The staff were really welcoming and helpful and friendly. The food was delicious, and the chef went the extra mile to provide us with halal options............we had a great time

I feel thr menu could have been better in it's choices and variety, but whatever we did have tasted great with good sized portions. The drinks could've have been included in the price as well as our only extra expense was the drinks.

Ideas 🤔Grounds perhaps putting green Children play area Decor of rooms and dinning area in need a refurbishing Not easy high ruining costs Restaurant Young staff need possible up skill in in culinary service skills Ie offering Cheese service even Liqueur 🍸 trolley up sales yield mgt 😀 pounds / pence !

Everything was amazing. Everything i needed for a relaxing break. Special mention to Abbie in the spa who gave me the most amazing massage and facial and made me feel completely relaxed. Everyone i came across from the lovely gentleman on arrival to greet me, to the receptionists, the food and beverage staff and the cleaners, were absolutely lovely and made a real effort and always smiling.

Waited quite some time to use the hot tub. Maybe this could be managed with hour time slots for guests to book in advance? My window view was of the car park which was a little disappointing, but it did not affect my stay.

The staff were all wonderful and super helpful and friendly. The restaurant food was outstanding and exceed our expectations. We enjoyed the spa, and the massage treatments were fantastic. Breakfast was also great - loved the full pots of tea and coffee on our tables and the food was lovely and fresh.

Although the hotel on the whole was very well presented and clean, some areas felt a little tired. Specifically the loos next to the restaurant and the outside area of the spa with the hot tubs. The pool was looking a little dated too - but fine none the less.

Great value with spa access included, clean room and facilities.

The bar service at the spa was far too slow and disorganised, not necessarily the staffs fault but there obviously wasn’t enough staff for the amount of people at the spa and in the bar area. A limit of two drinks when booking a spa weekend, where I understand the safety aspect, responsible adults should be able to purchase alcoholic drinks in moderation.

Not sure if the corridors are monitored but my wife and I were awakened at around 2 am by visitors who were swearing and yelling at each other. Surely this is not behaviour that can be condoned considering that people had travelled long distances to get to the hotel and just wanted a good nights sleep. For this reason, and at the price I paid, I’m not sure if I want to visit again. I will be visiting the Wirral often but may be seeking accommodation elsewhere.
