Review provided to me by my mother -> I booked the trip for her. A beautiful room with a magnificent view of the river. Breakfast was fantastic, good value for money (for a pensioner travelling from New Zealand). The staff were absolutely amazing, and made every possible effort to make our stay amazing. My daughter booked the hotel for us, and also ordered champagne and a platter for when we arrived, and it was incredible. Thank you so much for making what will probably be my last international trip, at age 84, one of the best experiences of my life, and looking after myself and my friend of 65 years, who I hadn't seen for 20 years, feel so comfortable and special.

We stay here a lot when we visit Liverpool this is our go to hotel as it’s in a great location, just a stone throw from the docs and Liverpool one. Our January stay 2025 we visited the onsite gym and can honestly say amazing, it has everything you need and also fresh towels a fruit on hand with a water machine, and not to forget the magnetic charging doc. We have stayed in all types of rooms the Pullman provides and each one are unique and amazing. Great views all round and just love this hotel Staff are amazing and nothing is too much, they will help and provide for any of you requirements or needs AMAZING. Very clean and modern look throughout the hotel and also discount parking when staying 👍🏻 Thank you for another amazing stay Looking forward to next trip.

Hotel staff were lovely and very welcoming. Beautiful room overlooking the Mersey and the Liverpool wheel was clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel is a 10-15 mins walk from the city center and a 5 min walk to the Albert docks area so it is a nice safe walk. Breakfast was excellent—great choice of buffet breakfast both hot and cold.

Only negative point we had was that after a tiring day, we went to the hotel to rest around 15:45 and the room was not cleaned or made up. I met the housekeeper in the corridor and just changed towels and told her to give the room a miss that day.

Well what can I say, this has been our best hotel stay to date. We arrived later than expected to find that the staff had upgraded our room for free and had carried out my requests for the room to perfection. From the swans and petals in the room down to the food prepared and ready and waiting on our table. The staff even had the courtesy to leave a card welcoming us to the hotel and wishing us a happy anniversary. We loved that. The man at reception was brilliant (I can’t remember his name unfortunately) he explained everything quickly and precisely and got us checked in in no time. And the lady at reception checking us out was even quicker! The room was spotless and the bed was heavenly. With the upgraded room, we were given a gorgeous view of the city and the river and we can’t thank The Pullman enough for a perfect hotel experience to which we can’t fault at all. We will be coming back. Thank you to everyone who made this happen and made our anniversary that much more special

There was a warm welcome on arrival. We arrived early and even though the room wasn't ready we were looked after by the staff on reception and also John the concierge. There was a great selection with breakfast and once again a warm welcome all round. The room was a good size and very comfortable. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of the City centre.

The bathroom was quite dark as was the mirror in the bedroom which made applying make up aa bit difficult. I know there was an extra light in the bathroom mirror but with 2 of us trying to get ready at the same time it did make it a bit awkward.

First of all location was perfect, staff in the breakfast area were very attentive and friendly, breakfast choice was excellent.

Young lady when booking ourselves in was not helpful and made a bad impression on the start of our holiday, there seemed confusion of our booking which was for 3 couples, she was rude to my wife and would not listen to my wife who had booked the hotel on line, my wife is a very friendly lady and was quite upset at the way she was treated, on another note the gentleman on the other desk at the time was totally the opposite, he was very friendly and courteous, we felt the young lady is in the wrong job, sorry to complain, it is not an experience we expect and have never experienced in any other hotel.

Stayed before. Location great for Albert Docks and Arena. 10-15mins walk from city centre. Friendly efficient staff, one in particular stood out. Jack who is so much more than a Porter. Such a welcoming friendly chap with a wealth of experience in hospitality and it shows. Also the Manager who was working just as hard alongside his restaurant staff. Love the walk in shower here, and full size dispenser bottles of body wash, handwash, hair wash and conditioner, body lotion. Lovely comfy superking bed. Good breakfast. A great stay.

Ideally a drawer would be good for underwear etc. More hangers please! Nothing that would put us off returning though.

Hotel is a 10-15 mins walk from the city but its through the Albert docks area so a nice safe walk as is walking around Liverpool Staff are excellent and happy to help I had cause to ring a couple of times and always got excellent service. The rooms were large very clean and tidy and beds was large and comfy. Breakfast was very good constantly replenished both hot and continental style buffet good value for money, the older lady that meets and greats is funny in a dry sort of way. Parking is nearby at Kings Dock Carpark a 2 minute walk to Hotel which you get a discount £12 for 24hrs which is not bad plenty of space clean tidy and always someone there.

Couldn't find anything to complain about and if I did it would be trifling little points of no real consequence. Only one point which is norm in most hotels no coat hooks to hang coats. Yes you could hang in the wardrobe on hangers but you dont want to hang wet jackets in with dry cloths. This is the same in most hotels

Having stayed here multiple times, the deluxe rooms don't disappoint. Comfortable and spacious, we'd definitely stay again. The staff were helpful with the problem parking, so although it wasn't ideal the overall experience was still positive.

The parking is the only issue, but from speaking with the staff that's Liverpool council's doing and out of the hotel's control. Some of the staff gave mixed answers for this, so it was never clear. Short version: it's not possible to keep coming and going from the carpark without repaying, so it becomes expensive. The room was cold, other guests remarked too, but this was a minor inconvenience.

Top floor room with excellent views. Rooms quite small but met all expectations. Air-con,tv,hairdryer, iron and coffee machine all working and easy to use. Room service was quick approx 20mins (sat evening) £3 tray charge (to pay immediately on arrival to room). Usually Quite area; although during late evening you can hear the exhibition/ arena noise slightly. This room cost £369 on a Saturday night booking 48hrs prior to stay. Booking in advance is recommended to get a better rate. The Kings Dock car park charges us £18 for 24hrs, with Pullman discount it went down to £12 (not to bad) however this is being increase by 30% mid March. Think the sign said £17/27£… wow! The breakfast was delicious.. staff were very prompt and happy to help. Chefs were very happy to accommodate free gluten free pasties; which was great. Check in /out was simple. Would definitely recommend.. excellent location, great service.. best to book in advance.

A few minor points to work on - Curtains were dirty, one broken which let a lot of light in (staples looked like they’d come away from the wall). Conditioner was nearly empty. Extractor fan poor in bathroom. A total random one.. the light switch for the bathroom was closer to the bed than it was to the bathroom. Random I know.
