They are cute little rooms

When arriving we was told that we had to pay a extra £30 for each room on top of our bill to cover any damages and once we leave and the room is checked we would receive our £30 back in 30 days.. this was a slight problem because I had 10 rooms booked. In 2 rooms the air conditioning didn't work so friends had to sleep with there doors open and have a little fan blowing. In my room there was black lumps on the bed and we realised it was the dust off the air con because they hadnt been cleaned And another friend had to wait 20 mins for the shower to get hot.. Apart from that the rest was ok. The night time staff (gentleman) was a nice fella to talk to.

I liked that the location of the Hotel meant that I discovered some parts of the city that I have missed; when I usually stay around James Street or Matthew Street. The room was very compact but this was good as the air conditioning cooled it down nice and quick. The tea/coffee and Lotus biscuits were a nice touch. The complex looked fairly clean. Bed was nice and comfy.

The reception was unmanned when we arrived and we had to wait a good twenty minutes but when she turned up she explained there was a problem at one of the other sites and apologised which is fair enough. It’s very easy to get lost in the maze of corridors; it would have been nice to have the exit signed from all round the halls. Some of the room number signs are a little bit misleading - with the odd absent range.

Great location and easy to find. Our room was spotlessly clean and this might be one of the comfiest hotel beds I have ever slept in. All of the staff we had spoken to were friendly and helpful. The room we were in did not have a window but the air-conditioning worked great, no issue for us but some people may feel a bit claustrophobic.

The shower is really small, it can be a bit difficult to manoeuvre around even for a slimmer person. Our room also had quite a high step up to the bed which probably wouldn't suit someone with mobility issues.

Great ‘pod’ room, extremely clean and comfortable. Plenty of tea/coffee (room isn’t serviced, but reception will give you more supplies 👍). Great location close to Liverpool One. Plenty to see and do in the area within walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

Not a dislike… Room is subterranean, no phone signal but great Wi-Fi available, no windows or natural light so check your weather app be for you leave or you’ll be walking back to grab and coat or leave one! Cobbled road to get to the location, not great for wheeled luggage.

Location was brilliant. We were at a concert at the M & S areana and knew we couldn't get a train home, so the pod hotel was ideal for our needs. Lovely and clean room. The bed was very comfortable too. The facilities were better than expected. The staff on the desk were helpful and friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The air con was great during a heat wave and not noisy.

Nothing really, but a dimmer 'bedside' light would have been good. The downlighters were a bit bright for relaxing. You could have the bathroom light on and leave the door slightly ajar though.

Less than 40 quid to stay in the heart of Liverpool on a Friday night was a bargain. Just around the corner from all the night life - great to see so many mostly young people enjoying themselves. Hotel just behind Dale Street looks fairly new. Very easy check-in with vending machines in reception. Downstairs through a maze of corridors to small, basic but cozy windowless room. Rooms are tightly packed and I heard a phone conversation from my next door until I switched by noise cancelling headphones. The ‘pod’ is all u need for one person - a tighter squeeze for two people tho! Bed is wide & comfy with two pillows and space underneath to store bags - could do with a bed shelf to park your phone or cuppa . And needs a reading spotlight in addition only room light. There’s a good size TV on wall next to air con unit controlled by wall control. I could not switch it on but room temp was ok anyway. There’s also a wooden unit to hang your clothes and a kettle with cups to make tea/coffee/hot chocolate provided - but no biscuits. But there is a hairdryer. Spartan bathroom with small cubicle shower with tons of hot water … too hot because I found the shower temperature impossible to control with danger of scalding - room 123 needs fixing!

Stubbing my toe while stumbling out of bed in the dark was the worst thing about my stay … just about everything else is highly recommended.

Staff were incredibly friendly & helpful. We arrived early, hoping for early check-in as we were headed to a game in Anfield. Unfortunately, there weren't any rooms available, but they were happy to let us use their luggage storage, which was a great help! When we arrived back to check in, the team got us our "pod," and in no time, we were checked in and back out the door again! The rooms are comfy, 4 clean... I really can't ask for more! Definitely great value for money, great location for transport, food/drink & shopping! We will definitely be back!

Not a complaint by any means, but if you're a light sleeper, you will hear your neighbours late at night or when they are checking out!

The room was bright and very clean. It was very small but there is ample shelf room for your gear. It's also a short walk to the Albert docks and the city centre. The room was also windowless below ground level. It's the first city break I've had in Liverpool and I would certainly stay here again. Excellent value.

Nothing. I'll accept the bargain price for a windowless room ( which ive found sometimes if you have a window on a city break, you are staring at a brick wall 10 feet away).

Room was small compact and very very comfortable. The bed was a little higher than I am used to but that meant absolutely nothing because being a not great sleeper I was barely awake in between waking up momentarily (usually much longer). Staff was absolutely phenomenal and helpful. Loved the check out time due to brief visit and the weather on arrival wasn't great so gave a chance to do a quick stroll of Albert Docks. Thank you. :-D

Nothing great staff with kindest people who helped with my mobility issues. Recommend.

The facilities were very clean and comfortable. It was the perfect sized room for the two of us and close enough to the concert venue we were getting to. The staff were very polite and friendly, including the cleaning staff who stopped to say hi as we were walking out.

Unfortunately, I am a larger woman (think about 190lbs) and getting into the shower was a bit of squeeze as the door was very small. The toilet was attached to the wall and I felt a bit uneasy trying to use it. The hot water in our room would run cold unless also running the hot tap in the bathroom which was a bit of a let down but oh well, what can you do?
