Less than 40 quid to stay in the heart of Liverpool on a Friday night was a bargain. Just around the corner from all the night life - great to see so many mostly young people enjoying themselves. Hotel just behind Dale Street looks fairly new. Very easy check-in with vending machines in reception. Downstairs through a maze of corridors to small, basic but cozy windowless room. Rooms are tightly packed and I heard a phone conversation from my next door until I switched by noise cancelling headphones. The ‘pod’ is all u need for one person - a tighter squeeze for two people tho! Bed is wide & comfy with two pillows and space underneath to store bags - could do with a bed shelf to park your phone or cuppa . And needs a reading spotlight in addition only room light. There’s a good size TV on wall next to air con unit controlled by wall control. I could not switch it on but room temp was ok anyway. There’s also a wooden unit to hang your clothes and a kettle with cups to make tea/coffee/hot chocolate provided - but no biscuits. But there is a hairdryer. Spartan bathroom with small cubicle shower with tons of hot water … too hot because I found the shower temperature impossible to control with danger of scalding - room 123 needs fixing!

Stubbing my toe while stumbling out of bed in the dark was the worst thing about my stay … just about everything else is highly recommended.

Staff were incredibly friendly & helpful. We arrived early, hoping for early check-in as we were headed to a game in Anfield. Unfortunately, there weren't any rooms available, but they were happy to let us use their luggage storage, which was a great help! When we arrived back to check in, the team got us our "pod," and in no time, we were checked in and back out the door again! The rooms are comfy, 4 clean... I really can't ask for more! Definitely great value for money, great location for transport, food/drink & shopping! We will definitely be back!

Not a complaint by any means, but if you're a light sleeper, you will hear your neighbours late at night or when they are checking out!

The facilities were very clean and comfortable. It was the perfect sized room for the two of us and close enough to the concert venue we were getting to. The staff were very polite and friendly, including the cleaning staff who stopped to say hi as we were walking out.

Unfortunately, I am a larger woman (think about 190lbs) and getting into the shower was a bit of squeeze as the door was very small. The toilet was attached to the wall and I felt a bit uneasy trying to use it. The hot water in our room would run cold unless also running the hot tap in the bathroom which was a bit of a let down but oh well, what can you do?

The staff were all very pleasant, welcoming and happy to help. The rooms were clean, tidy and juat what you need for a 2 night stay. Bar prices are very reasonable. Beds are comfortable and clean. They are slightly higher than a standard bed, which I liked. Tea/coffee facilities in the room. Decent sized shower.

The area immediately outside our room had a very strong smell of damp, which was a little off-putting at first, but thankfully, it never travelled in to our room. The room was much smaller than expected from the photos, but as we were there for a 2 day conference, we were only going back to sleep, so it wasn't too bad.

This small boutique hotel was tucked away behind a residential street. 2 min walk to bars. 5 to 10 min walk to the Quay. Liverpool bus station was a 15min walk. Easy access to many local areas. It's clean . Staff are friendly, and the sleep was satisfying . We only booked for a 2 night as we were just visiting family, but this is worth another visit. The bar could do with a few more choices, but this is a minor moan .

The bar was limited. However, there are plenty of spots within a 5 min walk if you fancied more variety.

We stayed in one of the windowless rooms, it was small and cosy, the bed was nice and clean and comfy, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a kettle in the room, nice clean towels, shower was a good size, Slept really well, Would definitely go again,

No parking outside the hotel,even if you are disabled,there are a couple of carparks that have over night parking but be prepared to pay about £25-£35 for the weekend, depending on which carpark has spaces,

The staff were fab. Really welcoming and friendly. We had a room without a window. Don't think we would do it again as missed being able to see outside. That's not the hotel's fault though, we thought we'd give it a try. To be fair, the room was bigger than we expected. It was clean. There were toiletries provided as well as a kettle with coffee, tea etc. The location was great, literally a 5 minute walk to Liverpool 1, the Albert Dock or the city centre. It not many more to get to Lime Street station. Would stay again and the price was literally a steal!

Not having natural light, but as I said before, that was down to our choice of room. Also, the bed was quite high up as the frame was built into the room. You could feel the springs in the mattress, which was uncomfortable at times. For the price we paid for a two night stay we really couldn't grumble.

We loved our stay and no longer see the need for a window in our bedroom back home! The room was perfectly sized to not be on top of one another but yet feeling cozy and intimate. We loved the staff who were all very friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic! Tuns to do right outside the door and great places to eat and drink just a stones throw away.

Our Aircon stopped working but we offered another room but as we didn't want to move, we were given a fan so we are still happy overall.

The staff! Booked this hotel at the last minute after extending our stay in Liverpool and wasn't expecting a lot given it's a budget pod hotel but we were blown away by the service overall. The rooms are basic, that's expected but the service of the staff is 5 star. Since the moment we arrived in reception they went above and beyond. They came to our room shortly after we first arrived just to ensure we were happy and if there was anything we needed. Jimmy, Daniel and all the staff are a credit to themselves, the hotel, their families and the city of Liverpool. So friendly, personable and memorable.

The staff were sound out went over for 2 days during the week for the football and the lads couldn't do anything more for you. Knocking in to see if I need extra towels, and sound spent majority of the day chatting when I was checking out because of a late flight. Shout out to Callum on reception such a nice bloke I will be definitely recommending this place to people and I will definitely be back.

Nothing really the only thing was my shower took about 2 minutes to heat up but that didn't bother me at all.
