Lovely room, it was so quiet we didn't hear any noise from the hotel or from the pub over the road. Very pleasant and cheerful staff. Not too far to walk into the centre of town and the Albert Dock. Would definitely stay here again.

Very stylish and querky. It is in the perfect area, only a 5/10 minute walk from the docks and shopping centre which was ideal. No parking at the hotel itself but plenty multi storey car parks around the area and an ideal smaller outdoor car park just outside the hotel, where we left our car for 3 days without any hassle. The staff were absolutely amazing and so polite and lovely. They even let us use the bathroom facilities before we’d even checked in and explained they would send a text if the room was ready any earlier. There is a bar attached to the hotel but also plenty of facilities such as a coffee shop and off license on the same road. Very nice hotel.

The room was slightly on the smaller side but still not uncomfortably small. We did have a slight issue with our key card not working one day after the cleaner had entered the room, but the lovely guy on reception helped us out and even walked up to our room to ensure we got in. The shower screen was quite small so water ended up going everywhere and there was an iron, with no ironing board so was a bit tricky to use. Other than these small things which didn’t impact our stay at all, the hotel was absolutely spot on. We had an offer to use so got the room at a discounted price, but still would’ve paid full price very happily.

The room we had was beautifully decorated, very hipster and unique. The mirror was a personal favourite of mine :) The bed was comfy, the breakfast was good, but the staff were excellent. Our room got very hot due to the weather and we couldn't cool down and at 2am the boy at the reception desk went completely out of his way to source a fan for us from an empty room and we were so so so grateful. He saved us from having two extremely sleepless nights.

The hotel could really benefit from having some kind of air con system, it's an old building so it really does trap the heat inside. I don't think it helped that our room was one of the smaller ones also, and of course with the hotel windows not opening much at all there's not enough airflow to cool the room down even at night when the air outside is cooler.

The location was great. You could Park outside until 8am. But then I had to move to a carpark opposite where I had to pay £5.00 for 4 hrs. The carpark advertises it at £8 per day. However when you enter and try and pay by their website 'ParkIn', it's in fact £10. Unfortunately There was no room to park in the hotels designated parking areas down the side of hotel or opposite. Our room was on floor 3 , room 29. Pleasant room. Quality firm mattress. Blind did not fit window properly, so my daughter was woken up with light coming through the large gap by the side. You could not pull the blind up at all on the other window. Brilliant shower/bathroom facilities. Very modern, and the amplifier fridge was very different. The large television was great as well. The breakfast was lovely, and was included in the price I paid for our room. The gentleman that served us breakfast was very accommodating. I lost my purse outside property when I moved my car early morning , half asleep , unbeknown to me!. And someone brought it into reception. I am so grateful to whoever did this. There are good honest people out there . Would definitely stay here again. Very convenient place to stay. And everyone that worked there were kind with us and extremely accomodating.

Not a massive dislike , they were still lovely, however On the Eggs Benedict I had slices of ham, rather than crispy bacon as advertised on menu.And unfortunately that morning there was no berry compote for my daughters pancakes. So nothing major was wrong.

From our arrival, I found the staff helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean, if not on the slightly small side, the fridge that looks like a Marshall amp looks very cool. Breakfast was ample, again served by friendly staff, plenty of choice on the menu. The bar was spacious, and reasonably priced. My stay there was due to my daughter getting married at the love lane brewery, so hotel was an amazing location for that, but your in the liverpool one area within a 10 minute walk, which also makes it a great location..

There wasn't a bedside table on both sides of the bed. Other than that, it was great..

Loved the quirky room - posters on the wall and Marshall amp fridge were a cool touch. Good layout with the bathroom separating the bed area and sofa area so it almost felt like 2 rooms - which would make it ideal for a bit of privacy if you had kids sleeping on the sofa bed. Good powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Lovely breakfast which was cooked to order, with several choices available, including vegan and vegetarian. Just a shame there was no buffet element (teas/coffees, juices,pastries etc) which is standard these days at most hotels. Being able to help yourself to drinks would have helped out the poor waiter working alone to take the orders. Give him his due though, he was doing his best and kept apologising for the delay. No parking at the hotel but a couple of options nearby. We parked on Kitchen Street, literally round the corner, for just over £5 for 24 hours which is much cheaper than we have paid in other cities for overnight parking.

The room was incredibly hot which made for an uncomfortable night's sleep. There was a large powerful fan by the side of the bed but unfortunately it was too noisy to sleep with on. Air con would be a great investment! I think Booking.com should point out that a tourist charge is now payable in Liverpool. Luckily I already knew about this so it wasn't a surprise when the hotel receptionist requested this on arrival, even though I'd pre-paid for the room. But I don't remember this being mentioned on the description.

Great location, comfortable bed and mostly friendly staff.

We paid for bed and breakfast, however, on the first morning we were told the chef had not come in and he was the only person who could cook eggs! As most of the options included eggs we had the full English without. Not really a major issue as the rest of the meal was lovely and well cooked, washed down with a coffee and fresh orange juice. On the second morning no egg trained chef again, we had the full English again but it was barely edible, with one less sausage than the day before and almost cold. When we asked the rather abrupt server for coffee and orange juice again, only the coffee arrived and when I asked again we were informed we were only allowed 1 drink and if we wanted anymore we would be charged for it! Not very fair after the egg issue.

Very ideal location where I needed to go. Room was nice with a fridge included. Room temperature was perfect and no noise from the room itself. Staff were incredibly friendly. Security deposit was very reasonable. Curtains were perfect for keeping outside light entering the room. Couldn't hear traffic noise when trying to sleep. Would recommend again.

Sadly the lift wasn't working on this occasion but they did apologise about this and offer to help carry any heavy luggage up the stairs. Checked the windows were shut yet could still hear people talking loudly when they were drunk whether it was inside or outside the hotel, no fault of the staff on this and for light sleepers such as myself, do invest in a Bluetooth Sleep Mask which helped reduce the noise some people were making.

It ticked all the right boxes ; I was attending the BRILLIANT Festival at the Exhibition Centre and was looking for a place to stay that was competitively priced, but equally important was within walking distance of both the nearest Train Station and also the ACC Great location, lovely and helpful staff , spacious room, loved the decor/ theme of the Hotel. * I would definitely be back and have no hesitation in recommending the Hotel to others Guy on reception was fab and we will be back soon. * If not already in place, I would love to be able to find out more about the back-story of the decor inside the individual rooms. I've seen the Hotel has 47 rooms, I believe that it would be interesting and beneficial to showcase the individualities of the rooms, that's if each one has totally different sets of pictures on the walls etc.

I wasn't able to check in when I first arrived as there wasn't anyone at the reception desk or in the reception area. "My bad", I didn't venture too far away from this area to search for a member of staff at the time. This was only a small issue though as I spotted a route to the adjoining pub, "The Duck & Swagger " and made my way to pub. I enjoyed a pint of Guinness and some excellent company before making my way back to the Hotel reception to check-in later.

The hotel is in a great location. It is a 10 minute walk to the Town Centre and centrally located to all the local attractions. We attended an event at Hangar 34 that was located a mere 5 minute walk from the hotel. All the staff are really welcoming, polite and friendly. The hotel is very modern and our room was exceptionally well presented, clean and tiny. We had breakfast at te hotel that was booked ahead of our visit. You have a choice of anything from the breakfast menu together with a hot or cold drink. Local bars are accessible in the area and both McDonalds and KFC are located a mere 2 minute walk away down the side of the hotel. I do not generally write reviews but felt that our experience of the hotel during our stay was certainly worth a positive recommendation. I would like to thank all the staff at the hotel for the positive experience we had during our stay.
