I loved the quirkiness of this hotel ,it was definitely right up our street . Starting off with the punk vibe straight away ,with the iconic pictures ,murals and neon signs around the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area giving us good tips about where to visit A lovely freshly cooked breakfast each morning set us up for the day too. Was only a 10 min walk from the city centre which was a nice walk in and out. Rooms were spacious with all you needed , warm too , a walk in shower which was easy to use , iron and ironing board provided, safe, hairdryer, kettle and fridge( wanted to take fridge home as looked well cool- no pun intended 😀). Bed was comfortable and spacious, blackout curtains.

Lift wasn't working, but we were only on the 2nd floor, so there no real issues there. There was a problem with the water on our last night, but this was out of the staffs control .They provided bottles of water, and we got our breakfast free that morning, so it wasn't too bad .

THE BALTIC HOTEL REVIEW 🏩 Just back from a great stay at The Baltic Hotel Liverpool – and it truly lives up to its strapline: Where punk art meets urban chic. 🎶 The whole place buzzes with a colourful, creative vibe, from the lobby right up to the ambient rooms plastered with band tour posters (a brilliant touch for music lovers). 🍻 The team couldn’t have been more friendly and hospitable, striking the balance of laid-back and attentive. Their own pub next door – The Duck and Swagger – has a decent selection of beers and you can even have a bite to eat! And being right in the heart of the Baltic Triangle means you step out into Liverpool’s coolest cultural hub, with Love Lane Brewery down the road and the gig venue, Camp and Furnace in the opposite direction. 🥞 Breakfast at the hotel is just as much of a highlight – with generous veggie and vegan options alongside a hearty full English or continental-style offerings. 🍒 The late check-out was the cherry on top, giving me time for a lazy lie in before heading off. A vibrant and quirky retreat, and not far from the city centre.

No air con/ warm room, no additional pillows in the room. First coffee at breakfast was nice, second was like dishwater.

Lovely room, it was so quiet we didn't hear any noise from the hotel or from the pub over the road. Very pleasant and cheerful staff. Not too far to walk into the centre of town and the Albert Dock. Would definitely stay here again.

The Baltic Hotel is a great place to stay. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed and pillows. Fridge, Tea and Coffee making facilities in the bedrooms and large TV with great cable chanels. Definitely somewhere I enjoyed staying.

The shower cubicle in room 30 is too small. The shower screen has been replaced with a curtain which clings to you when the shower is running. The Rose Shower Head is pointless as all the water ends up on the floor. How about a bigger shower cubicle as there's plenty of space in the bathroom. Breakfast (which was very nice) took an eternity to arrive. Almost 25 minutes, and serving luke warm coffee isn't great either.

Every single time I stay at this hotel, the experience is consistently excellent. The staff are truly exceptional, warm, welcoming, and always going above and beyond. Arriving and speaking with the team at check-in is genuinely something I look forward to; they set the tone for a great stay. The rooms are always spotless and comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better. A special mention to the receptionist who went out of her way to walk up and down a full flight of stairs (multiple times) with my niece to keep her happy while we changed rooms, that level of kindness and commitment is deserves recognition. The staff are a real credit to the property. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Very stylish and querky. It is in the perfect area, only a 5/10 minute walk from the docks and shopping centre which was ideal. No parking at the hotel itself but plenty multi storey car parks around the area and an ideal smaller outdoor car park just outside the hotel, where we left our car for 3 days without any hassle. The staff were absolutely amazing and so polite and lovely. They even let us use the bathroom facilities before we’d even checked in and explained they would send a text if the room was ready any earlier. There is a bar attached to the hotel but also plenty of facilities such as a coffee shop and off license on the same road. Very nice hotel.

The room was slightly on the smaller side but still not uncomfortably small. We did have a slight issue with our key card not working one day after the cleaner had entered the room, but the lovely guy on reception helped us out and even walked up to our room to ensure we got in. The shower screen was quite small so water ended up going everywhere and there was an iron, with no ironing board so was a bit tricky to use. Other than these small things which didn’t impact our stay at all, the hotel was absolutely spot on. We had an offer to use so got the room at a discounted price, but still would’ve paid full price very happily.

The room we had was beautifully decorated, very hipster and unique. The mirror was a personal favourite of mine :) The bed was comfy, the breakfast was good, but the staff were excellent. Our room got very hot due to the weather and we couldn't cool down and at 2am the boy at the reception desk went completely out of his way to source a fan for us from an empty room and we were so so so grateful. He saved us from having two extremely sleepless nights.

The hotel could really benefit from having some kind of air con system, it's an old building so it really does trap the heat inside. I don't think it helped that our room was one of the smaller ones also, and of course with the hotel windows not opening much at all there's not enough airflow to cool the room down even at night when the air outside is cooler.

What a wonderful hotel! The whole place is so gorgeous, with just the perfect amount of quirky and maximalist decor without compromising on luxuriousness and elegance. Beautifully decorated, fantastically staffed, great facilities, and delicious breakfast. Something we really appreciated (as neurodivergent folks!) was how well-lit our room was - warm bulbs on the overhead and bedside lights made it almost like candle or firelight, and then the option for cool/daylight-like light from the ring-lit mirrors made the whole set up just perfect. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the adjoining pub is so cool. Honestly, it's my new favourite Liverpool hotel. Thanks so much.

The location was great. You could Park outside until 8am. But then I had to move to a carpark opposite where I had to pay £5.00 for 4 hrs. The carpark advertises it at £8 per day. However when you enter and try and pay by their website 'ParkIn', it's in fact £10. Unfortunately There was no room to park in the hotels designated parking areas down the side of hotel or opposite. Our room was on floor 3 , room 29. Pleasant room. Quality firm mattress. Blind did not fit window properly, so my daughter was woken up with light coming through the large gap by the side. You could not pull the blind up at all on the other window. Brilliant shower/bathroom facilities. Very modern, and the amplifier fridge was very different. The large television was great as well. The breakfast was lovely, and was included in the price I paid for our room. The gentleman that served us breakfast was very accommodating. I lost my purse outside property when I moved my car early morning , half asleep , unbeknown to me!. And someone brought it into reception. I am so grateful to whoever did this. There are good honest people out there . Would definitely stay here again. Very convenient place to stay. And everyone that worked there were kind with us and extremely accomodating.

Not a massive dislike , they were still lovely, however On the Eggs Benedict I had slices of ham, rather than crispy bacon as advertised on menu.And unfortunately that morning there was no berry compote for my daughters pancakes. So nothing major was wrong.

From our arrival, I found the staff helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean, if not on the slightly small side, the fridge that looks like a Marshall amp looks very cool. Breakfast was ample, again served by friendly staff, plenty of choice on the menu. The bar was spacious, and reasonably priced. My stay there was due to my daughter getting married at the love lane brewery, so hotel was an amazing location for that, but your in the liverpool one area within a 10 minute walk, which also makes it a great location..

There wasn't a bedside table on both sides of the bed. Other than that, it was great..
