Good location, a short walk from the bus station near the sea. The facility has a nice common area. A cafe with food and drinks. Large, well-equipped kitchen and dining area. Nice atmosphere with other travelers. Room was comfortable with toilet and shower in the same room for those staying in that dorm. Hot water. Laundry available. Overall, it's the best hostel in Liverpool. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Common room was kept a bit cold with open windows and doors at night, temperature not comfortable for guests. Staff friendly but hotel-like, not so personable like other travel hostels. Only one washer/dryer available in a large facility, so you may be waiting until other guests finish using it - but at least it's available to guests. Drying takes a long time.

Unbeatable location, super friendly staff and comfortable beds. The common rooms were very cozy and the self catering kitchen a wonderful feature. The lockers in the rooms were roomy and easily accessible.

A single toilet and shower for a six person dorm was wholly insufficient. I was not given any other options on the same floor either, nor did I see any. ~60 minute wait for a bathroom in the morning (bathrooms and showers themselves were clean and up to date). Also, and this is me being needlessly picky: the flooring in the stairwells was threadbare and in need of replacement.

The hostel has a fantastic location – almost in the city center but still in a quiet area, just a 5-minute walk from The Beatles Museum. I really liked the security system: you cannot access any floor or room without a pass, which made me feel very safe. When I arrived, my 8-bed dorm only had 6 lockers. I asked about it, and the staff immediately moved me to another room with a locker – super fast and helpful! The room was clean, and I liked that the bathroom and toilet were separate. The staff were extremely friendly and always ready to help. Another big plus is that you can leave your luggage after check-out until your departure, which was very convenient.

In the bathroom, there were no hooks or space to put personal belongings, which was a bit uncomfortable. The pillows were also quite thin and not very comfortable to sleep on.

Compy bed! Female dorm, i loved that! I loved the self catering facility very much too, fab kitchen, you can even cook your own food :) the breakfast room and common lounge are really good, compy and super friendly staff.

The shower rooms are tiny, nowhere to put your towel, stuff etc. not enough railings, no shelves. And the shower leaked onto the floor, and there was a puddle. No towels to clean up the water, so I dried it up with toilet paper, because you don't want to leave behind a messy shower for the next person. That's when I realised the floor wasn't that clean. It was definitely not mopped that morning, as I showered in the afternoon after my arrival, after a long journey.

Location was great, walking distance to most places i wanted to see. Comfy bed, with it's own power outlet to charge devices. Good locker and hangers for clothes. In general very clean and tidy place. Separated shower from toilet.

Having one toilet for 6 beds resulted in one person leaving an absolute mess so it was unusable in the morning. Maybe having the option of other toilets outside of the room to be able to use would be good (i didn't ask about it, perhaps there were). Also, should really make a point about trying to be quiet in "sleeping hours" as some people are very loud or use several alarms early in the morning with no consideration on other people.

The location is really good for people who want to experience the best of Liverpool/Merseyside. It's really easy to find, and the staff were helpful during the check-in process - offering me information about the breakfast process the next morning. The room was exceptional value for money. The W/C and shower were well maintained and spotlessly clean. The water pressure was more than adequate and I liked the different shower head options. All-in-all, this is a bit of a hidden gem.

One of the only negatives that I experienced was no obvious wi-fi connection. I found one connection, but I'm unsure if that was the official Wi-Fi service offered. If it was, it was pretty poor with slow speeds and an inconsistent connection. Another negative is that it's located by a busy A road. As such, it might be difficult during warmer weather to have the windows open and to sleep well.

Gold class service with a smile. The lady chef i think her name is Naomi,she wears a white chef jacket is such an angel. She realised I was lactose intolerant and she fried my eggs - even though there was some scrambled eggs already. The meals are great.The bathrooms are very clean and maintained.The bed mattresses are good.The staff is a team of angels.The rooms are spotless.They have a self service laundry service,how cool is that!The prices are the best.

The common toilets at the reception are growing old,they might need to be changed.

Very fun and modern hostel in a great location in the city center - easy walking distance to the dock and the Beatles Story experience. There are separate bathrooms specific to each shared room, so you only share with other people in the room. The breakfast was extremely high quality - they offer most parts of a hot English breakfast in addition to the continental standards. They also offer free, gates parking during your stay or for £3 for all day after check-out - a great deal compared to city parking rates! I arrived quite late, and the staff were very helpful in letting me into the parking area and making sure I was checked in and settled well. Highly recommend!

Fantastic location for all attractions especially for the ebike tours of Liverpopl Cycle Tours Ltd who do ebike tours of The Beatles, Football Stadiums, City Centre Highlights and Pub Crawl tours as they are just around the corner behind Black Lodge Brewery (some great beers in there too!) And also next door to the Baltic Fleet pub (with a REAL fire in the winter!) I self catered mostly and the kitchen is well equipped although I didn't cook anything adventurous like Lobster Thermidor the facilities would allow it :) I especially liked the little TV / chill put room as it's ideal for doing any laptop work as rarely used by others

Really fab staff they couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. I've not stayed in a YHA since I was 21..…so naturally at 51 I was slightly nervous.....but it was a great experience. You have to keep in mind you are sharing so don't have the privacy of a hotel.....but it's great value for money.....and the guys I shared with were chatty and considerate. Great little bar downstairs...... everything was very clean. Remember to take your own towel!

A few of the lockers were a bit rickety......and my USB by my bed didn't work properly but the three pin plug was fine.
