Everything in this year old hotel was so new and ergonomic. Great city centre location city close to Liverpool One shopping area, China Town 5 minute walk, good range of traditional pubs, trendy bars and restaurants close by (and beer prices in hotel bar also competitive), Duke Street Market indoor food and drink 2 minutes walk, 10-15 walk to city’s theatres. Friendly staff and room just right for short stay. Room so well laid out. Got a weekend bargain rate so staying over after a show delightful. Lovely late night drink in The Monroe pub a 1 minute walk - offering real ales and bonus was a free craft bakery sausage and black pudding roll as it was getting late so customers given freebie, great ending to great day out in Liverpool.

It’s well designed and shoe horned into a little street so no view if you’re looking for skyline vistas, but typical of many similar hotels in big cities. I actually didn’t mind there was no view from the room window as it looked onto a side street and not overlooked.

Breakfast was Good with staff continually cleaning.

Parking information, the one recommended was further away and more expensive than the car park I found literally 100 yds from the hotel.

From the moment you walk through the front door, a lovely flesh scent hits you. Lovely girl on reception was very friendly and helpful. The room was very stylish and comfortable. Stayed two nights and slept great both nights. Kettle in room plus mugs instead of cups was a bonus for me 😄 Breakfast was great lovely Cumberland sausages, back bacon, beans, eggs, cereals bread, and more. They even had takeaway cups and bags if you wanted to take stuff away with you. 10 minute walk to bus station, close to all the bars and restaurants. Overall, it was a great stay. I wouldn't hesitate to go back again.

The room we were first given hadn't, possibly, been cleaned fully. It smelt of socks and beer. And, just outside the door, was an empty pint glass in an ice bucket, which I think they meant to take away when they were cleaning but had missed. The person on reception was very helpful and moved us instantly to another room (on a higher floor, so it felt a bit like an upgrade. It didn't smell, which was good). NB: The windows don't open (yes, it's one of those), which means if you have a smell in your room, you're stuck with it, no chance of letting fresh air in on the situation. The air con works, which is good. But not the same as real air, I'm sure you'll agree.

For a practical and modern base in the heart of Liverpool, this hotel delivers exactly what you'd expect from a hotel of its rating. Perfectly situated for exploring the city's attractions, it offers compact yet well-designed rooms with excellent, spotless shower facilities, no bath option available . The breakfast is a real treat, a generous and diverse full English buffet that sets you up for a day of sightseeing. While the focus is on efficiency, the hotel provides a comfortable and reliable stay for short to medium trips

While our stay was overwhelmingly positive, we did experience two small inconveniences. After our room was serviced, we noticed we didn't have enough towels. Additionally, the coffee from the breakfast machine had a strong, bitter aroma. Despite these minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel, and they certainly wouldn't prevent us from returning

Good new clean hotel good location close to town centre & very close to pubs & clubs nice quiet bar for evening’s & nice clean area for breakfast time staff very friendly & helpful .

In our room we had a issue with the temperature module as we didn’t ( wasn’t shown how to use it properly ) when it got too warm we’d lower the temperature then it got too cold so that affected our sleeping . Also there’s no onsite parking only private owned ones near by 5-10 mins walk from hotel with prices from £16-£30 per overnight charge in hotel they do offer a discount code for parking about 10-15 mins walk away but you must book your parking here in advance. But if you have disabilities like me you’ll have issues . At breakfast time could do with more hot items choice’s & change the powdered eggs for fresh ones after all this is a holiday inn hotel .

Very comfortable bedroom and pretty clean. The staff was lovely. The breakfast had several options, including vegan ones! Good location in the center of Liverpool, close to the pubs, but we couldn't hear a noise from the hotel.

The only thing that I'd like to comment on is that at the end of the breakfast they had to throw away the remaining food (bread for example). Maybe it is a sanitary policy. It'd be nice if they could give away to associations. Anyway, at least, the guests can take away food from the breakfast in doggy bags provided by the hotel itself.

Booked last minute as other accommodation was receiving poor reviews. Very pleasant welcome, room was free and we were checked in a little early. Pleasant, comfortable and quiet room but wasn’t expecting the peace to last as it was aintree weekend, how wrong was I. We had a restful sleep without any noise disturbance. Breakfast time had been extended due to the busy weekend they were having. We went down for 7.30 as we had an early train. It was quiet and there was a good cooked/cold options available. The grab and go was also a good option for those that didn’t have the time to sit and eat. We will definitely somewhere that we will use again. All staff were very pleasant and having asked if there was a possibility to have more tea bag’s and milk they were accommodating. For anyone using the hotel needing to iron clothes the bonus of an iron and board in the room along with a hair dryer a bonus.

Exceptional value for money. Really comfortable beds - slept really well given the hotel is in a busy part of the city. Breakfast was excellent.

The only real improvement needed is the staff. We only stayed two nights so this didn’t put a dampener on our trip but a couple of times when approaching staff (young member of staff particularly), they were too busy engrossed in a chat with one another and were not immediately attentive as is to be expected, working in hospitality. There was a delightful young blonde female member of staff who was an exception to this experience, (I think she was from Leicester), she was very friendly and attentive. Overall, though, we feel the staff really make a hotel and there’s work to be done in this area.

Room was clean and nice. The best were really confortable which is something we really seek. The shower was also big with great pressure. Breakfast was included and had a nice and abundant english breakfast hot option, a Bundchen of sweet options and some yogur and fruit and cereals. They also had some bags in case you wanted to take something for later. And the hotel was 5 minutes from the main street, and surrounded by nice pubs and restaurants. And it's fair to add that there was no noises from inside or outside.

Nothing to add here. Our stay was short but we found everything right.
