The staff couldn't do enough for us we arrived early but our room was ready so we were able to drop off our case as we were heading off to the afternoon matinee at the theatre which is a 10 minute walk away also so is the Liverpool Lime street station. The breakfast was brilliant and freshly cooked. The bathroom and bedroom were spotless they had a tough light mirror handy for applying makeup. It was a small room but had everything you needed. All the shops are a 5 minute walk away.

The hotel is situated on a busy street where there are bars and clubs so some people may not like that it didn't bother us.

Very helpful and friendly welcome on arrival and provided with clear, accurate information. Located in centre of city close to railway station, shopping area, amenities and tourist spots. Room clean, comfortable with all essential requirements (tv; tea/coffee making, detailed information); clean, good sized bathroom with shower (no bathtub).

Nothing that could be controlled by hotel owners. The situation is located in a vibrant, busy area of a city and at night can be noisy due to nearby restaurants and night clubs. If looking for peace and quiet throughout one’s stay then visitors should focus on quieter areas but for anyone wishing to absorb the vibrant atmosphere of a culturally historic, exciting and unique city, this hotel is perfect.

The beds were comfy, we had lots of coffee and tea facilities, the staff went above and behond making my friends birthday special by providing balloons and banners for her...she said it was so great and felt like she was special and likes a fuss. Obviously I wanted to pay the staff for a very good job on doing this and I would like to thank them. I really didn't hear any noise to be honest in the room, maybe because we were getting drunk haha 🙃 😅 When you go over the time, there is a staff member that will let you in, even when you order food...they are happy for you to do this and it was very good. We didn't use the shower because we didn't need to as we had a shower on the day we went out. We had two toilets in the room which was very good so if my friend want to go toilet and myself we will go to the toilet in separate rooms. Thank you guys you made it special for us 😀

There was no soap in one of the toilets- had to go to the other toilet but it did not stop us having fun!

The hotel is in a great location. Close to the main centre full of shops, bars and restaurants. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Rooms were ok and bed comfortable . Bar was lively through the day. Breakfast was lovely with a wide choice of drinks to suit all.

There was a musty smell when you walk into room like damp but we wasn't too bothered as it was somewhere to put our head for the night and you can't smell it after a while. The rooms need a tidy up as there was plaster patching on walls. The ceiling fan was extremely dusty and was over bed but didn't see any fallen dust.

This is our second stay at the Hanover Hotel. The staff are friendly. The breakfast was good. When I looked at photos of first time we stayed (2022) the cooked breakfast amount was the same . No yogurts this time. But all fine. We had a back room , basic and clean with a good size, shower , toilet and sink room. On our first stay we had a frount room which was fine too, it wasn’t as noisy as we had expected, with it being on Hanover st. The tv is tiny but ok seemed to get Scottish local news!!

It was all fine.

Stayed here before excellent location and brilliant staff,breakfast is great would stay again depending.

We were on second floor which was walking up a good few stairs(that was my fault for not requesting for lower)last time we stayed here we were in a main street facing room which was absolutely fine,this time our room was facing a small side street it was very noisy,I would 💯 stay here again but maybe request a few things in my booking,look forward to coming back.

The cleanliness of the property was really nice and the staff were very welcoming and they even let me check in early as my room was ready. The location is spot on, a short walk from lime Street train station and within walking distance of all you would want to see in Liverpool by this I mean the city centre, the theatre, the Albert Docks, fantastic hotel. The hotel does a wonderful full English breakfast, also tea and coffee variety was outstanding and a good offering of cereals and orange juice also provided, this property is fantastic to for those that like their football, as it’s located within their bar, no need to look for a pub elsewhere, what more would you need, food a couple of drinks, the footy and your room seconds away to go and rest and chill out.

Absolutely everything ❤️ this little gem of a hotel was fab they are lovely staff my room was fab it's central location as I was part of hen party but as mothers of the bride we need our home comforts ❤️ this hotel provides it breakfast was so lovely 😍 and they went above and beyond in so many ways I can't wait to.go back 😀

Stairs but I had a foot injury, so it didn't help. The hotel doesn't have a lift, but that's fine I'm.going back they weren't to know I had said injury 😅

What s not to like about Liverpool? Hotel was great, with spacious rooms and all amenities. Well located, great breakfast and walking distance to most attractions. Great bar with plenty of selections too. Taxi rank is across the street also.

The music is too loud if you re on the first floor and want an early night. You ll be waiting til after midnight on Fridays/Saturdays. No dinner served either, but eateries are all around. Wifi is near useless, and tv has most channels null and void. What channels there is are rubbish also, so definate room for improvement. Youtube is available most places these days.

Location was perfect for all aspects of travel to the city. Easy access to everything Liverpool has to offer, tourist attractions, shopping, rail networks, museums and football stadiums a bus ride away.. Plenty of bars and restaurants close by not to mention a plethora of bars and cafes . All this and a fantastic cooked breakfast waiting for you, when you leave your immaculately cleaned room.

Nothing to fault. But I am aware Friday and Saturday nights may be noisier than normal due to the outside crowds going about their partying.
