Fairly good placement for visiting Liverpool centre, only a 5 minute walk away and virtually next door to the Cathedral. Plenty of cafes and restaurants and pubs within a minutes walking distance. Very clean. Lift (although REALLY noisy) was large enough.

We booked a car parking space in the basement and unless you are driving a micro car it is horrible to try and park. The spaces are all really tight and there is a plethora of metal girders throughout the car park and I mean a plethora. You are forced into forward/reverse/forward/reverse/forward/reverse it is quite an experience and not a good one. Also cost £60 for 4 nights so we might have been better using the NCP directly across the road. Beds were a bit small and the view from the rear was terrible.

The property is in a really great location, within a 20/30 minute walk to the main shopping area and busy Cavern Quarter. There are also other bars and restaurants within even closer proximity to the property, and China Town is just around the corner. That said, we weren’t disturbed by noise at all. The property is modern, clean and comfortable. Our two bed apartment had a bathroom and en-suite which was great for two couples sharing. The bedrooms were roomy, although the beds were only doubles which some might struggle with if used to a king or super king! There was a lovely big lounge/dining area. The staff were very friendly and there was plenty of contact before arrival. Parking is available on site, on a first come first served basis, for an additional charge.

Be aware that the apartment you are allocated may not be the one shown in the pictures when booking. The kitchen is only basically equipped, which didn’t bother us as we didn’t spend a lot of time in the apartment, however you would struggle to make and serve a full meal if you were hoping to cut costs by eating in! We found the bedrooms really warm and stuffy as there is no air conditioning, however it was quite a warm spell while we were there, and there are windows that can be opened!

Self catering apartments. Although a few sachets of tea and coffee provided. 2 bedroomed apartment was spacious, well laid out, clean and well maintained. Premier shop over the road for essentials. Lift (although very noisy ) Hotels were £500+ for one night, this was just over £200. Highly recommend.

Black out curtains are needed for the room facing the road. We were room 72. Street was very noisy. Ive stayed in hotels local to this and although street facing never heard the cars etc. I had ear plugs in too. Mattress was soft. Nothing to wash the pots with, maybe provide a sachet of washing up liquid and a scrubber?

The location. Comfortable beds. Fully equipped with white goods. Good electric heaters.

Very dated. Not as modern as photos on booking.com show. Needs updating and lots of damage. The seats collapse when you sit on the Leather sofa in living room. The seal on the shower door was hanging off at the bottom. Bedside lampshade was damaged in one of the bedrooms. Quite a small tv. They advertise shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. All we had was shower gel. They say they provide salt and pepper, there was none. Tea, coffee & milk was sachets as you would get in a hotel room. There were black hairs on the bathroom floor.

Spacious 3 bedroom apartment. Great location and facilities. Apartment was spotlessly clean.

A very strong smell of bins/sewers in the stairs and lift area.

Check in only normally up 6.00pm this caused some anxiety however as I arrived shortly after 6.00pm the keys were hand delivered. The courtyard was a bit scruff but this is not the fault of Base Apartments. However the apartment was very clean, quiet, comfortable and well equipped and convenient for cathedral area and shopping centre. The staff were friendly and courteous. It is great value for money and I will definitely stay there again Kevin Otherwise the apartment was well stocked clean quiet and comfortable

one combined toilet and shower without a lock so was quiet challenging such that we had to let everyone know each time the toilet or bathroom was in use. It was even more of a challenge that we travelled with my my mother in law. I would like to recommend that they install a locking system for the toilet door so that the door could be locked when in use.

Very spacious room sizes plenty of closet space Kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay Staff at check in/out very friendly Nice full size bathroom Towels soft white and plenty big enough. Location was a little walk from night out centre but plenty to do around the apartment places to have a fab meal and drink right next to apartment.

Sofa bed very thin mattress Outside light didn’t work so hard to open the door in the dark Not enough coat hangers Hot water ran out when we were all trying to get washed before we went out for the night. A few scuffs on the flooring broken tile in bathroom and rip in the curtain not major problems but didn’t want to get the blame and loose deposit so took photos on arrival

Staff are very friendly and helpful. It was a good base for us. Bed was really comfortable

Unfortunately what is shown on Booking website for 'penthouse apartment' is actually a duplex. On Booking there is no mention of stairs and unfortunately I have limited mobility and this would be too much for me. We ended up being 'downgraded' to another apartment but this met our needs and was lovely. However if I had had the full information at the time of booking it would have cost me less as I still ended up paying for the penthouse apartment. Complaint sent to Booking.com but no response.

Very spacious apartment and very clean, nice touch of items for our use ,like a hotel would do. (Tea bags,coffee,milk,sugar ,biscuits and shampoo,conditioner,body wash ,clean towels ) Our friends arrived early and asked if they could leave their luggage as check-in, not for another 3 hours. Our apartment was ready, so they booked us in early and gave us our keys. Lovely staff on reception.

Confusion on how to enter.main door was very stiff. You had to really push on it ,but had to go to reception to find this out .
