Diego is a top man. Lovely employee. Great base overall for my trip to Liverpool. Can’t fault them at all for the hostel. Obviously as with any hostel, the people you share with are random and can always affect the stay but that’s not the fault of international inn.

The staff are fabulous! Every single person has been so kind and amiable! The rooms are clean, the bed's a bed, and the showers are amazing! If you're a little older and heavier, as I am, make sure you request a bottom bunk if you're in a dorm, or ask for room number 5 or 6! No bunk beds in there. Roommates are usually kind, quiet, and keep to themselves. There's plenty of free tea and instant coffee available in the shared kitchen. Since there are so many people that live here for school and work, there's always amazing smells coming from there!

That we don't have access to a working washer and dryer. Apparently, they've been down for over a month. So, the duvets and pillows need to either be washed for all the stains on them or, be replaced altogether. Other than that, I would be more than happy to stay here at a moment's notice! Thank you to everyone who works here! You have all been so kind to me and I'll never forget it!

The location is perfect, very near the centre but not too close to the crazy nightlife. I especially liked the fact that it was close to the beautiful bombed-out church so we got to see that several times a day. The room had everything we needed and we were pleased to see we had a private bathroom. The staff were always very friendly and helpful and the 24-hour reception was a lifesaver for us since our flight didn't get into the airport until nearly midnight. We also loved the family-style kitchen with free tea to make our breakfast in.

The blinds in the rooms let in quite a lot of light from early in the morning and guests in other rooms were often making noise and slamming doors, especially on Saturday in the early hours of the morning. I'd recommend that light sleepers bring earplugs and an eye mask

Good value for a private twin room with ground based beds. and a desk.Fairly quiet. Clean bathroom. Very nice to have a reading light attached to the headboard. Fun entertainment facilities with TV, pool table.Staff are at front desk 24/7.

No bread in the kitchen for breakfast toast. No milk for cereal.. Lots of street noise from the nearby pubs as our room faced the street. Bring earplugs. Very flat single pillow.

I have been to this hostel a month ago. I like the location and the facilities provided. This hostel is in the City Centre, close to Liverpool Central and Lime Street train station. I’m impressed with the size of the kitchen and how clean and tidy the area is kept and well maintained. The hostel is also just a stone throw from Bold Street, the food capital of Liverpool city centre. There are lots of restaurants and bar just outside the hostel. Good place to spend a few nights on a budget. Would definitely booked again sooner.

We have actually stayed before and had a private twin room in the hostel side. On arrival this time, we were told we were in the Cocoon (hotel side), and had a nicer room, with free towels, nicer bathroom, and a kettle. I felt like we got a free upgrade, I'm not sure why, but it was great. I would have still been very happy with the hostel side room we had previously for the price we paid, though. We have re-booked for another trip, and as we're staying a bit longer next time, we've paid a bit more to stay in the Cocoon again. I would stay in the private hostel rooms for 1 night again and again, but for those wanting to stay in the city a bit longer, the Cocoon rooms are nice for a more comfortable stay for about £100/night.

WiFi is a bit pants but it wasn't a big issue. I would also quite like if there was an option to order a pre-packed continental breakfast, like just a croissant, bread & jam, and a fruit juice, for a few pounds. We seem to end up going for a full English at a pub every time we stay here, because even just down the road on Bold Street, not many places seem open for breakfast before 10am on Sundays.

Staff were really friendly and accommodating to anything we needed. Really pleasant stay here. Memory foam pillows and a comfy blanket was a nice touch. It was noisy but didn't bother us as we all slept through it. Check in nice and easy. When we got there the room wasn't quite ready but a member of staff who I assume was on her break got up to sort the room out for us which I was really grateful for! Room was clean 😊 Would definitely recommend and stay again.

I liked the room, the cleanliness and the location

I missed activities between the hosted provided by the hostel, the place is good in general, but it doesn’t provide a good space for interaction, i wouldn’t recommend for solo travelers

It was a bit noisy in the area outside until midnight so we did not have the best night ever, but I felt I was very happy the staff did their best to help everyone with their rooms and even called a cab and help load the bags.

It is too bad that the visitors in the rooms are sometimes in between homes whereas other solo travels come in because of business necessity and therefore it is inappropriate to complain too much since everyone gets along anyway.

The reception staff were all boss, all three shifts (check-in check-out and when I went to grab my backpack I'd left). The place does exactly what it says on the tin... Cheap, comfortable, clean. Hot shower and a good nights' kip (I even had a lie in). Towel rental is a quid, not bank breaking, and it only cost a quid to leave my backpack too. I might have gotten lucky with a quiet night, so no noisy room mates.
