I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, the location was ideal 100 yards from the venue I was attending. My room was spacious enough for me and afforded me a.lovely view across the Mersey. I only had breakfast in the hotel, and the choice and standard of food was excellent. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. I loved my stay here.

The only thing I would say is this......and it is not a criticism of this hotel exactly, or the few others where exactly the same thing has happened to meat other hotels offering buffet breakfasts.......I was travelling alone, which I do frequently, and part way through my breakfast, I got up to go and make some toast. On returning to my table, it had been cleared of my remaining cup of tea and my empty plates, but fortunately nobody had yet been seated there, but that could have happened. I'd like to suggest that guests are issued with a card, with the same idea as the ones used on room doors, which says "Still eating" on one side, and "Finished thanks" on the other, which can be left visible on the table so that staff are aware what their guests are doing.

The convenient location, right on the Albert dock, the beautifully restored old building. The staff were so welcoming, helpful and professional. The room had everything we needed for our overnight stays. The breakfast catered for both of us as I’m gluten free and I was able to eat from the continental and hot food choices.

Nothing, definitely will be back.

The location is amazing! We had a room overlooking the docks so it was very pretty at night. Very central to everything we wanted to do. Our room was a good size. We had a double bed and a sofa bed for our two teenage daughters. It was small and they complained about it a lot! It was very squeaky as well. Apart from the sofa bed the room and bathroom were good. The breakfast was decent. I really liked the little pancake machine! We were able to leave our bags at reception after checking out which helped a lot.

We were told breakfast finished at 10.30 (which it does at the weekend) but weren't informed that it was 10am weekdays. We arrived for breakfast on Monday at about 10.02 to be ignored by Mary, the person who took you to your table. Eventually she came over and was plain rude! She told my daughter that she could get something to eat but had to 'get out' in 10 mins. We walked out without breakfast and did complain to the desk staff. The rooms could also be checked better before letting new guests in as we found a tube of 'stuff' in our room under the sofa bed when we arrived. Not the nicest thing to find 🫤

This hotel is a hidden gem. Very nice experience, and the location was perfect on the docks!! I was attending a conference at the nearby convention center, and I couldn't believe how convenient and close everything was. Quiet, and the view was breathtaking. Plus all the wonderful restaurants and Beatles stuff within walking distance along the docks.

There's a shortcut to the restaurants in the dockside area that you can only get to through a locked door with your room key. I turned in my room key at checkout, but stowed luggage. I think they should give you a special room key that doesn't open any of the rooms but only the outside door access for the next 12 hours when you stow your luggage. It would be simple to do.

Location excellent for activities, bars, restaurants etc. Rooms were large and comfortable, and very quiet. Breakfast great, good choice and all well-cooked. Staff friendly and helpful, even stored our bags on the last day! Looking forward to staying there again. Great value for money.

Obviously there is no parking at the hotel, so we decided to go by train. We didn't need the car, as there is an excellent hop-on and hop-off bus round the city which starts close to the hotel, with a guide on board. Small point, rooms were a little dark, could have done with a central ceiling light. It's a beautifully restored old building, so the windows had to be close to the original, that would explain it. Otherwise, fantastic place.

Perfect location right next to the arena. Wide range of breakfast times with good food. Clean room with a comfortable bed.

Everything was good. Nothing to complain about.

The hotel has an excellent location right in the heart of Albert Docks, offering a beautiful view of the river. The housekeeping service was great – the room was cleaned daily and fresh towels were provided every day. The room itself was sufficient and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay overall.

There are two things that could definitely be improved. The first is the quality of the breakfast – it was honestly quite poor. The ingredients seemed to be of the cheapest quality, and the food consisted of typical heavy and unhealthy English breakfasts. There were no vegetables, no cheese, and overall the food were exceptionally unappetizing.

we chose the location due to it's proximity to the conference we were attending. The choices at breakfast were fantastic and permitted for all tastes. My room was clean and comfortable. I have stayed at other 4/5* hotel chains and I can honestly say their cleanliness was no way near the standard that was provided here. I would like to give a few special mentions: 1. the housekeeping staff who obliged my coffee habit by leaving additional coffee in my room. 2. Dom from the maintenance team who promptly resolved an issue with the hot water in my room. 3. Tasha - reception. As always she was amazing.

The external doors could do with looking at. I had to assist a lady on a mobility scooter on a couple of occasions as she couldn't open the doors to enter/exit the building. perhaps investing in an automatic opening system would be a good investment as it would be more inclusive for all guests.

The hotel is in an amazing location. We had a twin room on the 4th floor with a lovely view of the river. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and not too crowded. It was lovely to be able to leave the car and walk around the Albert Dock and up to the city centre and there are plenty of places to eat nearby.

The car park outside the hotel does not belong to the hotel and is very expensive (although very convenient). There is a discount at another car park which is a few minutes walk away.

Everything there was no reason to find any fault at all.... room was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was fabulous and set us up for the day.... and as for the staff, well they could not have been more welcoming, kind, courteous and so pleasant to talk too. Nothing was too much trouble to them and despite their busy work schedule they took the time to stop and speak to their guests, which is an absolute raretity (as i spend a lot of time in hotels) You really have the perfect staff here at Albert Docks look after them and they will look after you and the business.
